Video: New Disney CEO Wants To “Quiet Things Down” After Company Exec Previously Revealed Open LGBTQ Agenda

“Do I like the company being embroiled in controversy? Of course not”

The new CEO of Disney, Bob Iger, announced Tuesday that he will seek to “quiet things down” at the company following several high profile controversies, most notably the admission of an executive producer under his predecessor declaring that Disney is operating an open LGBT agenda.

Iger was filmed at a town hall meeting with Disney employees, and the footage was posted to social media by Manhattan Institute senior fellow Christopher Rufo.

“Do I like the company being embroiled in controversy? Of course not,” Iger asserted.

“It can be distracting, and it can have a negative impact on the company. And to the extent that I can work to quiet things down, I’m going to do that,” Iger vowed.

Iger, who is returning to the company for a second spell as CEO after the unscheduled exit of his appointed successor, Bob Chapek, also noted that he was “sorry to see us [Disney] dragged into that battle” with Florida governor Ron DeSantis following Disney’s public rebuke of his “Parents Rights in Education” bill which prevents children as young as kindergarten age being taught about transgender and gay sex issues in schools.

In an interview with Tucker Carlson, DeSantis and the host charged that Disney has a “fixation on the sexuality of children” pointing to recent reports that four employees of the media giant were charged with human trafficking in Florida, with one having allegedly sent sexually explicit texts to an law enforcement agent posing as a teenage child.

During the town hall, Iger further stated that “One of the core values of our storytelling is inclusion, and acceptance, and tolerance. And we can’t lose that, we just can’t lose that.”

He continued, “How we actually change the world for the good must continue… We’re not going to make everybody happy all the time, and we’re not [going to] try to. We’re certainly not going to lessen our core values in order to make everybody happy all the time.”

Iger’s comments come as the company faces a $100 million loss from a production called “Strange World,” which features an open gay teen romance.

Recall that back in March, leaked video footage revealed Disney executive producer Latoya Raveneau asserting that her team had implemented a “not-at-all-secret gay agenda” that would be “adding queerness” to programmes and films for children.

Disney has indeed been prominently featuring transgender and LGBT characters in productions:

Disney also angered many parents earlier this year by throwing its weight and funding behind gender reassignment procedures, even for kids:

As we noted yesterday, a new Disney Christmas show features a group of children holding up signs that spell out “WE LOVE YOU SATAN,” prompting more backlash.

“Its illegal for a uniformed service member to salute anything but the American flag”

The U.S. Air Force has received backlash after tweeting out an image showing a soldier saluting a LGBTQ+ flag to ‘Celebrate Pride Month‘.

The image shows a silhouetted individual throwing up a salute along with the rainbow, black and brown and trans colours and the Air Force seal.

The gender of the individual isn’t clear, but it is clearly a depiction of a uniformed service member.

The caption reads “June is #PrideMonth! The Department of the Air Force proudly recognizes and celebrates generations of LGBTQI+ service members and their contributions to our #AirForce & #SpaceForce.”

The Air Force Global Strike Command responded to the tweet, writing, “Our diversity is our competitive advantage.”

    Cringe.

    Many were not impressed:

You Won’t Believe What They’re Doing Now

The children are the drag queens.

    Published

A school in the UK is celebrating ‘Pride Month’ by encouraging children as young as 11 to dress up in “full blown drag”.

Forget just exposing them to what is inherently sexualized in nature, they’re now literally making the kids the drag queens.

Oxfam Apologises For Evil Cartoon ‘TERF’ That Resembles JK Rowling

Now everyone is slamming the charity

Anti-poverty charity Oxfam has issued an apology over a cartoon it produced featuring a bunch of evil eyed ‘transphobic’ characters hating on the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, with one wearing a button labelled ‘TERF’ and very much resembling author JK Rowling.

The charity edited the video and deleted the original after complaints over the term TERF (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist) being offensive to women’s rights activists.

Oxfam’s statement noted  “In efforts to make an important point about the real harm caused by transphobia, we made a mistake. We have therefore edited the video to remove the term ‘terf’ and we are sorry for the offence it caused.”

Here’s the video in question, which was released to mark ‘Pride’ month, just as seemingly every other organisation and company in the world now feels compelled to do, even if they have nothing to do with Pride or LGBTQ+ lifestyles.

Those who caught the original before it was deleted noted how the ‘TERF’ starkly resembled JK Rowling:

Oxfam has denied that the character was meant to depict the Harry Potter author, claiming “There was no intention by Oxfam or the film-makers for this slide to have portrayed any particular person or people.”

Others pointed out that the other two characters next to JK Rowling the TERF were lazy stereotypes of muslim and asian men.

Since it backtracked, Oxfam has now managed to anger pretty much everyone, and is now being accused of pushing trans ideology on young people while also “caving in” to “anti-trans fanatics”.

Others questioned why Oxfam, which is an anti-poverty charity, feels the need to inject itself into matters of ‘inclusivity’.

As we highlighted recently, the charity also released an “inclusive language” guide which apologises for using the English language before going on to deem a number of words ‘offensive’, such as “headquarters,” “local,” “people,” “mother” and “feminine hygiene.”

Despite backlash, the charity doubled down on its woke insanity, releasing a statement clarifying, “This guide is not prescriptive but helps authors communicate in a way that is respectful to the diverse range of people with which we work. We are proud of using inclusive language; we won’t succeed in tackling poverty by excluding marginalised groups.”
