Video: Even The Democrat Sheriff ‘Investigating’ DeSantis Agrees The Border Is Not Secure
“I don’t think that the border is as secure as the folks in D.C. might believe”
The Democrat sheriff of Bexar County in Texas who claims to be criminally investigating Florida governor Ron DeSantis admitted Tuesday that assertions made by Biden officials that the border is secure are patently false.
As we highlighted yesterday, Javier Salazar announced that he has opened an investigation into DeSantis sending migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, prompting DeSantis and his office to respond that “Immigrants have been more than willing to leave Bexar County after being abandoned, homeless, and ‘left to fend for themselves.’ Florida gave them an opportunity to seek greener pastures in a sanctuary jurisdiction that offered greater resources for them, as we expected.”
DeSantis himself pointed out that no one seemed all that bothered when more than 50 migrants were found dead in a trailer in Bexar County itself.
One thing DeSantis and Salazar can agree on, however, is that calling the border ‘secure’ is an outright lie.
Appearing on CNN, Salazar commented “I don’t think that the border is as secure as the folks in D.C. might believe,” adding that “if the White House came down and got an eye on Texas and saw firsthand, which is what I’ve been asking them to do for a while, come down here and get an eye on the problem, I would beg to differ.”
“I don’t think that the border is as secure as what folks are maybe telling them,” the sheriff continued, adding “I think there’s some solutions to be had, but it’s going to start with somebody from D.C. making the trip down here and talking to us.”
Salazar was responding to comments made last week by Kamala Harris:

Democratic Senator Joe Manchin also described Harris’ remarks as “dead wrong” further stating “we need the wall and a lot more, technology, more agents.”
According to the data from CBP, more than two million people have attempted to cross the border in the 2022 fiscal year so far.
That figure equates to a 22 year high.
A recent NPR/Ipsos poll has revealed that over 50 percent of Americans feel that the southern border is under ‘invasion’ from illegal immigrants.
Raul Ortiz, The Head of The U.S. Border Patrol has also testified under oath that he believes the Biden administration’s policy of “no consequences” for illegal immigrants trying to enter the country has made the border less safe, caused an exponential increase in people attempting to cross, and has directly caused what he believes constitutes a “crisis”.
Border Patrol agents recently described White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre as “extremely dumb” following her claims that migrants are not “walking across” the southern border.
The Border Patrol are being told to literally unlock gates for illegal immigrants to walk into the country and get bussed to cities like New York.

Video: Border Patrol Head Says Agency Cannot Protect U.S. Because They Are Forced To Process So Many Illegals
“In terms of flow and the threats that we’re seeing with Fentanyl and with the criminal organizations that are our adversary, it’s about as bad as I’ve ever seen it”
Jason Owens, the new head of the Border Patrol has warned that the agency is unable to protect Americans from “hardened criminals” smuggling in weapons, drugs and gang members because it is so overwhelmed with processing thousands of illegal immigrants every day.
Appearing on ABC News, Owens stated that the Border Patrol cannot lawfully send back people illegally trying to enter the country over the Southern border, and has to “enforce the laws that are on the books.”
“In terms of flow and the threats that we’re seeing with Fentanyl and with the criminal organizations that are our adversary, it’s about as bad as I’ve ever seen it,” Owens urged.
He continued, “This isn’t sustainable. This is up-and-down the system, everybody is overwhelmed. Even the government of Mexico, which have been great partners for us, the U.S. Border Patrol, a lot of times our facilities are already over capacity.”

House Intelligence Chairman Mike Turner blasted the Biden administration Sunday, charging that they are “encouraging” unsustainable surges at the border.
The GOP Rep. said that “the manner in which they have — have provided assistance to migrants, not really communicating that our borders should be closed. Instead, have encouraging an open border policy.”
“You know, this is a national security and an economic security threat. On national security, we’ve seen individuals on the terrorist watch list be apprehended. We certainly see fentanyl and other drugs coming across the border. On economic security, you even have the mayor of New York saying that it’s destroying his city,” Turner added.
He added that “the Biden administration just in the last 10 days took action to give 200,000 Venezuelans temporary protective status, which includes that they cannot be deported and work privileges.”
“If we had the right policies, they wouldn’t be here. By providing them these — the open assistance, what you’re seeing is an encouragement for others to come,” he further asserted.

Video: Biden Claims It’s REPUBLICANS Who Are “Undermining Our Border Security”
Claims Trump “spent four years gutting the immigration system”
Joe Biden claimed Thursday that it is really Republicans that are to blame for undermining the security of the southern border, despite a massive surge in numbers of illegal immigrants coming across under his administration.
Addressing the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Biden also claimed President Trump “spent four years gutting the immigration system.”

He further claimed that he has “developed federal experts” to deal with the surge of illegal immigrants, whatever that means:
The comments came after Biden’s press secretary refused to answer questions about the massive influx, including a surge of over 10,000 in one day this week, sarcastically dismissing the issue out of hand:
She said that using razor wire as a means of stoping illegals entering is a “political stunt.”
Jean-Pierre instead claimed Biden has “taken historic action” on immigration:
