Former Olympian Swimmer Says Trans Hate Mob Has ‘Made My Life Hell’

Former swimmer Sharon Davies says standing up for women’s rights in sports has led to death threats and left her financially destitute

Former Olympian swimmer Sharon Davies has revealed that she is struggling to keep her career as a pundit and a sports ambassador going because she has been relentlessly attacked by trans ‘activists’ for speaking up for women’s rights in sports.

Davies has long been outspoken in her opposition to biological men competing against women in swimming and other sports.

In 2016 she and 60 other influential figures in sports lobbied the International Olympic Committee (IOC), asking the body to reevaluate the rules for allowing biological males to compete against women.

Her stance stems from having been robbed of a gold medal at the 1980 Moscow Olympics by an East German team who doped their female swimmers with testosterone.

In an op-ed for Newsweek, Davies notes that “The East German women had been doped with testosterone and put through male puberty. They looked and sounded like men; they had male physiques, male voices, they even had Adam’s apples.”

“I could not stand by and say nothing as another generation misses out on what’s rightfully theirs,” Davies says.

She adds, “The reason I am so vocal about the trans issue is because you’re now asking the next generation of females to go through what I went through: start a race with somebody next to you who you know has an unfair advantage.”

Now she says that employers, charities and agents she has worked with for decades are dropping her under pressure from the angry trans mob.

“There’s been so much hate and bullying,” the British swimming medalist and MBE told You magazine.

“It’s been very hard. Charities I’ve worked with for 30 years have dropped me, and agents I’ve worked with for 30 or 40 years don’t use me anymore, because the trans activists can be so vicious and malicious – they go after your work, after your brand, they attack everything,” Davies asserted.

Davies added that she has only managed to keep her career going because of an inheritance from her mother.

“The money’s nearly gone now. But I can’t back down,” Davies said, adding “If you have the courage of your convictions you have to back those up with evidence and science and then you just have to hold your ground.”

The former swimmer also says that she has had death threats to herself and her children.

Davies also notes that others in her field have kept quiet for fear of being ‘cancelled’ by the mob.

“Loads of female athletes have supported my campaigning,” Davies outlines, adding “The problem is that people are worried about trans activists, so a lot of people tend to keep their heads down. Of the 60 people who signed our letter, only four or five had ever put their head above the parapet. The rest of them remained anonymous.”

As we highlighted last month, Swimming’s world governing body FINA slapped a total ban on transgender athletes that have gone through any form of male puberty from taking part in women’s competitions.

Davies praised the decision, asserting that she was “proud” of Fina for “doing the science, asking the athletes/coaches and standing up for fair sport for females.”

Davies says that despite the torrent of hate she has received from the mob, her position outside of sports is not anti-trans.

“I have friends with trans children, I have made friends with lots of transgender people during this process because the majority totally understand,” Davies notes, adding “A lot just want to live their lives and think this argument is making things more difficult for them.”

Davies is refusing to back down, urging “I feel so passionately about this, though it’s all been worth it. Sport has taught me to be resilient – you get knocked down seven times and get up eight times.”

“We still have a lot of work to do. I’ll now be campaigning for every single sport to ban trans women from the female category,” Davies proudly states, reasoning that “Women’s races are there for females. That’s why they have that category. Women’s races are not there for mediocre males.”

“I quite like having a crusade now,” Davies also notes, adding “It suits me to be busy.”

Biden’s Gender-Fluid Nuclear Official Charged With Felony Theft After Lying To Cops

A senior Department of Energy official was charged with felony theft after stealing a piece of luggage from the Minneapolis airport in September – shortly before taking a leave of absence.

Sam Brinton, a gender-fluid nuclear expert who in 2015 defended underage gay prostitution website “Rentboy.com,” allegedly took a Vera Bradley suitcase worth $2,325 from the luggage carousel at the Minneapolis St. Paul Airport (MSP) on September 16, Fox News reports, citing a criminal complaint filed Oct. 16 in Minnesota state court.

According to court filings, surveillance footage showed Brinton taking the luggage, then removing its tag identifying the owner, before leaving the airport. Brinton was observed using the luggage during at least two other trips to Washington DC – on Sept. 18 and Oct. 9.

When a police officer called Brinton on Oct. 9 for questioning, Brinton confirmed that he still possessed the suitcase, but then claimed it was his.

“If I had taken the wrong bag, I am happy to return it, but I don’t have any clothes for another individual,” Brinton told the officer, adding “That was my clothes when I opened the bag.

Two hours later, Brinton called back and apologized for not being “completely honest,” adding that taking the wrong bag was a mistake because ht was tired.

“DEFENDANT said when they opened the bag at the hotel, they realized it was not theirs,” reads the court filing. “DEFENDANT got nervous people would think they stole the bag and did not know what to do. DEFENDANT stated they left the clothes from the bag inside the drawers in the hotel room.”

Brinton was ultimately charged with felony theft of a movable property without consent, a charge that could result in a five-year sentence, $10,000 fine or both.

Minnesota-based outlet Alpha News first reported the charges against Brinton on Monday.

Brinton was placed on leave about a month ago and another official was named as a replacement in the interim earlier this month, according to the Exchange Monitor which tracks government hires. The DOE didn’t explain why Brinton took leave at the time. -Fox News

Sounds like Brinton can add ‘klepto’ to their resume.

New Poll Finds Strong Majority of Americans Condemn Drag Queen Story Time

    Say it’s inappropriate for children.

A new Rasmussen poll shows a strong majority of Americans think Drag Queen Story Time is inappropriate for children.

According to Mark Mitchell, the head pollster at Rasmussen, the question alone had “riled up about the most hate in any survey” he had ever conducted, emphasizing the fury amongst Americans the issue has caused in recent years.

1000 Americans were asked how appropriate they thought it was that Drag Queen Story Time existed.

The event revolves around men dressed as women reading stories to young children, often in public libraries or schools, ostensibly as part of an effort to expose kids to LGBT culture in a bid to promote ‘tolerance’ at a young age.

The poll found that 44% of Americans thought it was “not at all” appropriate for children, and another 16% judging it to be “not very” appropriate, while 10% said they were not sure.

Only 11% of voters thought the event was “very appropriate” for children, while 28% said they were “somewhat appropriate.”

Women were slightly more positive towards the event than men, while, perhaps unsurprisingly, government employees were the most likely to approve.

Along party lines, 79% of Republicans disapproved of Drag Queen Story Time, while Democrats were split 47% in support and 41% against.

In terms of age groups, 46% of people aged 19-39 said it was appropriate, compared to 71% of adults aged 40-64 and 77% of adults over 65 who said the event was inappropriate.

71% said the event should not be taxpayer funded in comparison to just 14% who said the taxpayer should foot the bill.

“Drag queen story hour seems like a topic that has been heavily championed by the left, and yet it can’t get to a majority of support among Democrats,” Mitchell said. “But at the same time, Democrats are just not willing to condemn the practice in large numbers.”

It’s no surprise that many Americans are vehemently opposed to the event given how it has been exploited by sexual predators and pedophiles to get closer to kids.

Back in March 2021, the former head of the Cream City Foundation, which sponsors Drag Queen Story Hour in Milwaukee, was arrested on charges of possessing child pornography.

In 2019, it was revealed that the Houston Public Library allowed a registered sex offender to read to children as part of Drag Queen Story Hour.

One of the program’s drag queens, 32-year-old Alberto Garza, was convicted of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old boy in 2008.

We have highlighted numerous instances where drag queens have engaged in overtly sexual behavior in front of children during Drag Queen Story Time events, including an incident in the UK where a drag queen taught toddlers how to twerk and another who flashed children a glimpse of his crotch during an event in Minnesota.

Meanwhile, advertisers and supermarket giants in the UK are once again using festive commercials to socially engineer the British public.
