Alarm Over Poll That Reveals Large Numbers of Canadians Believe in “Conspiracy Theories”

Ludicrous idea that powerful people work together to further their interests.

Concerns are being raised over a poll which reveals large numbers of Canadians believe in “dangerous conspiracy theories,” such as the idea that global events are engineered by powerful cabals who are “working in secret against us.”

The nationwide survey of 1500 adults, conducted by Abacus Data, illustrates how trust in mainstream sources of information and government institutions has plummeted.

And apparently, this is a a terribly frightful thing.

“Canadians who want to believe that Canadian society is relatively unaffected by conspiracy thinking will find little comfort in these results. Millions believe that our lives are controlled by secret plots to undermine our interests,” Abacus Data said in a statement.

The results show that;

– 44% of Canadians believe “big events like wars, recessions and the outcomes of elections” are controlled by shady cabals “working in secret against us.”
– 37% of Canadians believe “there is a group of people in this country who are trying to replace native-born Canadians with immigrants who agree with their political views.”
– 20% of Canadians believe “the World Economic Forum is a group of global elites with a secretive strategy to impose their ideas on the world.”
– 13% of Canadians believe Bill Gates is using microchips secretly embedded in vaccines to monitor people.

The 37% who believe they’re being replaced by voting blocs comprised of migrants is the most concerning outcome, according to the polling firm, because it represents “an articulation of what is commonly referred to as replacement theory,” which is an extremist belief (apart from when it’s advocated as a good thing by left-wing progressives).

Abacus Data warned that the results “undermine the ability of political parties, businesses, civil society groups, and governments to help build consensus and make progress together.”

“Perhaps the most disconcerting thing in these numbers is the fact that mistrust of institutional accounts isn’t simply neutral skepticism – it is often accompanied by a willingness to believe dangerous contrarian theories,” the company added.

Global power elites working together to further their interests?

Biden Given ‘Cheat Sheet’ That Instructs Him How to Say “Hello” And Sit Down

Why does the president of the free world need tips on how to behave like a normal human?

Joe Biden was photographed holding a “cheat sheet” given to him by his advisers instructing him on how to enter a room, say “hello,” sit down, talk to other people and then depart.

Yes, really.

“YOU enter the Roosevelt Room and say hello to participants,” states the bullet point list before going on to tell Biden, “YOU take YOUR seat.”

“Press enters,” the cheat sheet continues. “YOU give brief comments (2 minutes). Press departs (t). YOU ask Liz Shuler, President, AFL-CIO, a question. Note: Liz is joining virtually. YOU thank participants. YOU depart.”

Why on earth does the leader of a free world require an instruction manual on how to behave like a normal human? This is like something you would give to an autistic child doing a high school presentation.

“How mentally out of it is this geriatric patient that he needs to be told to sit down and say hello?” asks Chris Menahan.

“He’s already the least popular president in American history and yet they just continue to use and abuse him for all he’s worth.”

As we have exhaustively highlighted, Biden’s mental frailties, which routinely manifest themselves in the form of verbal gaffes and confused, befuddled behavior, are of real concern to Democrats given that Biden will be 82 years old by the time he begins a second term.

Another example occurred earlier this month when Biden appeared baffled as to whether or not he was visiting Saudi Arabia.

Last week, he also mistakenly made reference to the “L-G-B-T-Q-L” community.

According to a report by the New York Times, Democrats are panicking at the thought of Biden once again going up against Trump for the 2024 presidential election.

“They have watched as a commander in chief who built a reputation for gaffes has repeatedly rattled global diplomacy with unexpected remarks that were later walked back by his White House staff, and as he has sat for fewer interviews than any of his recent predecessors,” reported the newspaper.

Ukraine Bans Main Opposition Party, Seizes All Its Assets

‘Beacon of democracy’ cracks down on dissent.

Ukrainian authorities have banned the country’s main opposition party and seized all its assets, once again undermining the narrative that President Zelensky is presiding over a beacon of democracy.

The country’s Ministry of Justice announced the move via Facebook, revealing that the Opposition Platform — For Life had been shut down and its assets, money and property transferred to the state.

The party had previously had its operations suspended in March after it was accused of being complicit with Russia and being “anti-Ukrainian.”

The ban means that Zelensky’s main political opposition has been eliminated. The OPPL was the second largest party in the country and its popularity surpassed that of Zelensky’s Servant of the People party last year.

Its leader Viktor Medvedchuk, who claims he is merely looking out for the interests of the Ukrainian people by seeking better relations with Russia, was placed under house arrest last month.

The announcement said the party was suspected of acting to “undermine the sovereignty” of Ukraine, with authorities have already banned 10 other political opposition parties for the same reason.

Last month, President Zelensky signed a bill into law that gave the green light to ban any party that challenged the government’s policy on the Russian invasion, empowering courts to seize assets without the right to appeal.

While opposition parties are being obliterated, Ukrainians who engage in dissent are also being rounded up and arrested by armed men from the Ukraine Security Service.

As we previously highlighted, Ukraine is also attempting to extradite and imprison citizens who live in other European countries if they criticize Zelensky.

Meanwhile, President Zelensky is still being hailed by western legacy media outlets as a valiant defender of democracy in contrast to the brutal autocratic dictators who control Russia.

What a joke.

Macron Shocked as Le Pen’s Party Makes Huge Gains

National Rally secures 88 seats to rock the establishment.

French President Emmanuel Macron has lost his majority in the National Assembly after a night which saw stunning gains for right-wing populist Marine Le Pen’s party.

Le Pen and her National Rally party turned 8 parliamentary seats into a whopping 88 while Macron’s Ensemble was reduced to 245 seats, well short of the 289 required to form a working majority.

National Rally can now form a parliamentary group for the first time since 1986 and wield significant influence on policy decisions for the first time in a generation.

“This parliamentary group will be by far the largest in the history of our political family,” said Le Pen while congratulating her supporters.

The group will act as “a firm opposition to Emmanuel Macron, without connivance, and respectful of the institutions,” she added.

Experts were stunned as to how Le Pen ended up winning 88 seats given that her party’s first round score suggested a significantly lower figure.

Mathieu Gallard, research director at Ipsos France, lamented how “blocking the extreme right at all costs no longer works at the local level: in the context of NUPES/RN face-offs, Ensemble voters abstained.”

French newspapers reacted to the result by asserting that France is now “ungovernable” after a political “earthquake” had occurred.

Macron’s Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne reacted badly by saying the proper functioning of democracy, which worked to hand Macron’s party a heavy blow, represented a “risk” for France.

“This situation represents a risk for our country, given the risks we’re facing nationally and internationally,” she said. “We will work as of tomorrow to build a working majority.”

Macron will also have to deal with far-left leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon, who formed a coalition of leftist parties which ended up with them winning 131 seats.

While she didn’t go as hard on the issue as presidential rival Eric Zemmour, Marine Len Pen has spoke out against France’s inability to absorb huge numbers of migrants.

Back in 2020, she called for a national referendum in order to stop what she called the “submersion” of France via a “globalist” program of mass immigration.
