Romania Claims Eurovision Changed Their Vote to Give First Place to Ukraine

EBU replaced the votes of six different countries.

Romanian broadcaster TVR has accused the European Broadcasting Union of assigning a different set of scores to the ones they provided, incorrectly giving the highest score to Ukraine, which went on to win the competition.

The Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra easily won the competition, finishing on 631 points, with the United Kingdom in second place with 466 points.

However, despite the margin of victory, the official Romanian Eurovision representatives complained that the EBU ignored their vote to give Moldova first place and instead awarded it to Ukraine.

“We were surprised to discover that the result of the Romanian jury’s vote was not taken into account in the calculation of the final ranking,” said TVR in a statement. “The organizers assigned a different set of points to the participants of the final, on behalf of the jury of our country. We specify that the Romanian jury decided to give maximum score to the representatives of Moldova.”

Representatives of each country also normally appear on the live broadcast to announce their country’s voting results, but Romania’s Eda Marcus was nowhere to be seen.

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) responded by claiming they had noticed “irregular voting patterns” which “forced them to replace scores from six countries: Azerbaijan, Georgia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania and San Marino.”

“In order to comply with the voting instructions of the competition, the EBU collaborated with its voting partner to calculate a replacement aggregate result for each country concerned, both for the second semi-final and for the grand final (calculated on the basis of the results of other countries with a similar voting history),” they said in a statement.

In the final vote tally, neither Romania or Moldova awarded any points to each other, something that would never happen in reality.

TVR said Eurovision organizers had “replaced the jury score in Romania with a ‘substitute’ calculated in a non-transparent way,” and had not even informed them of what they were doing during the competition.

Although part of the vote is also down to the viewing public, the claims suggest that there may have been some chicanery behind the scenes to ensure Ukraine won the competition, thereby fulfilling a preset narrative to support ‘the current thing’.

The Eurovision Song Contest is notoriously political and has been beset by similar voting scandals in the past.

New Movie Asks is Alex Jones a “Dangerous Lunatic” or a “Patriotic Hero”?

Acclaimed director of TFW NO GF returns with new feature film.

A new film by acclaimed director Alex Lee Moyer set to be released in theaters next month asks the question, “Who is Alex Jones? Is he a dangerous lunatic or a patriotic hero?”

Moyer, who previously directed TFW NO GF, a fascinating insight into the incel sub-culture, has returned with a new documentary movie about one of the most controversial men on the planet today.

A trailer for Alex’s War has just dropped on YouTube, teasing viewers with the promise of taking them on a rollercoaster ride showing Jones’ rise from local radio talk show host to national attention and infamy.

“Alex’s War is an unprecedented close examination of this guarded, mythic figure, and the story of the fracturing of the great American narrative—through the eyes of this man who helped break it,” states the blurb accompanying the film.

The clip charts how the “most banned, most demonized person in the world” became a target of the regime after his once relatively obscure media empire grew to such a level that it helped elect President Donald Trump in 2016.

Footage shows Jones cutting his teeth in the late 90’s by confronting deceitful councils and exposing corrupt local politicians.

It then zooms forward to 2015, when a major centerpiece of Trump launching his presidential campaign was an appearance on Jones’ show during which Trump described Jones as “amazing.”

The persecution of Jones in the form of his sustained demonization and deplatforming, which intensified after January 6, is also documented.

“OK, let’s put me in prison for questioning, even though that’s my right,” states Jones in the documentary. “In fact let’s execute Alex Jones, let’s put me in front of a firing squad and pull the trigger.”

“I have a sick feeling actually, because I know what comes next,” he adds.

The movie will be showing in select theaters on July 29th and will be available for video download on the same date.

Poll Finds Half Of Americans Rank Moral Values In Country As “Poor”

Only 13 percent think moral values are ‘good or excellent’

A new Gallup poll has found that 50 percent of Americans rank moral values in their country currently as “poor,” with only 13 percent saying those values are good.

The poll found that 37 percent rate moral values as ‘fair’, but only 1 percent rate them as excellent.

Gallup notes that it is the worst ranking of moral values among American for two decades, and that an already negative trend has worsened.

“While the amount of Americans who rate the moral values of the country as poor has been fairly consistent over the last five years, the number did decline to 43% in 2020 before rising again in the last two years,” the pollster notes.

When looked at through the lens of politics, it comes as little surprise that more Democrats currently rank moral values in the country as good or excellent.

A total of 72 percent of Republicans rated moral values as “poor,” while just 36 percent of Democrats concurred.

On the flip side, 48 percent of Democrats ranked moral values as “fair” with 15 percent rating them as “excellent.”

What the hell are those people smoking?

The poll also found that a total of 78 percent of Americans believe things are going to get worse.

“Americans’ views of the state of moral values in the U.S. are dismal,” Gallup asserted, adding “and their expectations for the future are grim.”

Gallup also found that a belief in God among Americans has fallen to an all time low, with 17 percent in total saying they do not believe. The pollster notes that the demographic most opposed to belief in God are young liberals.
