Rand Paul Warns That Trudeau’s Tyrannical Emergencies Act Can Be Implemented In U.S.
“We actually have in the United States an Emergency Act that allows the president to shut down the internet”
Senator Rand Paul has warned that the emergency powers being wielded by the Trudeau regime in an effort to crush protests in Canada also exist in the U.S. and can be implemented at any time by the government.
Appearing on the BASED Politics podcast, Paul described the statue being used by the Canadian Prime Minister as “very, very dangerous,” noting “We have the same sort of statutes here, and I have long-time been an opponent of these.”
“We actually have in the United States an Emergency Act that allows the president to shut down the internet,” Paul added.
The Senator further noted that he tried to get Democrats to ally with libertarian-leaning Republicans to restrict emergency power legislation during the Trump administration.
“[Sen.] Mike Lee had some reforms that he put forward on the Emergency Act, and it’s something we should look at, because these things go on and on,” Paul explained.
He added, “There are some emergencies in the U.S. that have been going on for many, many decades. And the president can just renew them every year. There’s no real stopping him.”
“And so the emergency edict that Trudeau has done in Canada allows him to do some horrendous things, allows him to stop travel, allows him to detain people without trial. Now we don’t know that he’s going to do that, but it is very, very worrisome what he might do,” Paul urged, referring back to Trudeau’s crackdown.

Canada has moved to make the asset freezing part of its Emergencies Act, which was used to target supporters of the Freedom Convoy protests, a permanent fixture.
Trudeau vowed this week that emergency measure will remain in place, and the Canadian parliament voted Monday to keep them in force.

Video: Biden Almost Falls Down Steps On Same Day As Report About Handlers’ ‘Mission’ To Prevent Him Falling
What the hell are “proprioceptive maintenance maneuvers”?
Joe Biden almost fell down the small set of Airforce One steps that are specifically used to prevent him falling On Tuesday. The incident occurred on the same day that a report emerged detailing the lengths that his handlers are going to to prevent Biden from constantly falling over.
Here’s Biden almost decking it flat on his ass as he descended the smaller set of steps on a trip to Michigan for a photo op with striking UAW workers.
He was there for around 12 minutes, but had brought a convoy of scores of huge vehicles.
Earlier in the day a report emerged from Axios detailing how White House insiders are secretly working to prevent Biden falling and injuring himself.
The report states that Biden is working every day with physical therapist Drew Contreras doing exercises to counter his seriously impaired balance. Contreras has referred to these as “proprioceptive maintenance maneuvers,” whatever that means.
Professor James Gordon, associate dean and chair of the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California, stated “I have never heard the term ‘proprioceptive maintenance maneuvers’, adding that it is not a clinical term in standard use.
