Pope Francis: Identity is Being Erased in the Name of Protecting Diversity
Supreme Pontiff slams “cancel culture” as a form of “ideological colonisation.”
Pope Francis made some unusually anti-woke remarks during a speech to diplomats when he said that “identity” was being erased in the name of protecting “diversity,” and that “cancel culture” is a form of “ideological colonisation.”
Cancel culture “leaves no space for freedom of expression,” the Supreme Pontiff told a gathering of ambassadors at the Vatican.
“The cultural roots that constitute the identity of many peoples,” are also under threat from historical revisionism driven by “ideological colonisation,” he warned.
The phenomenon of activist groups attempting to rewrite history “is invading many circles and public institutions,” he added, noting that, “In the name of protecting diversity, one ends up canceling out the sense of identity.”
As the Telegraph reports, “His speech was in Italian but he used the English phrase “cancel culture” – the concept is in its infancy in Italy and has barely entered public discourse, unlike countries such as Britain and the US.”
Last month, the Pope also compared the EU to a dictatorship for attempting to force through ‘woke’ rules on inclusive language that ban terms such as “man-made.”
However, the Pope’s comments are definitely not in line with previous remarks he has made about diversity and free speech.
Pope Francis has styled himself as an open borders activist, relentlessly urging Europe to take in more refugees despite such influxes leading to spikes in violent crime, mass sexual assaults and countless terrorist atrocities.
Indeed, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán recently asked Pope Francis not to let Christianity “perish” as he challenged the the Supreme Pontiff’s advocacy for mass immigration.
On the subject of free speech, as recently as October, Pope Francis invoked God in an effort to pressure Silicon Valley giants into censoring more content, including “hate speech” and “conspiracy theories.”
Following the Charlie Hebdo massacre 7 years ago, the Pope infamously rhetorically sided with the terrorists who murdered the cartoonists.
As we document in the video below, the Supreme Pontiff routinely smears his critics as performing “the work of the devil.”
But now he’s suddenly concerned about the pitfalls of diversity and the attack on free speech.
Better late than never, I suppose.

CBP Data: 16 Terrorists On FBI Watchlist Crossed Southern Border In February Alone
How many got away?
Fresh data from Customs and Border Protection has revealed that sixteen people matched to the FBI’s terrorist watchlist were apprehended by Border Patrol agents in February alone.
As reported by Fox News, the total number of individuals on the watchlist found to be attempting to enter the country so far this fiscal year is now 69.
CBP expects the trend to continue, and to smash last fiscal year’s record 98 encounters.
Between FY17 and FY20 there were only 8 of these terror watchlist arrests, and in 2021 only 15.
When border the Southern and Northern borders are taken into account, FY23 has seen 214 people in the Terrorist Screening Database stopped by CBP agents to date. Last year, the total was 380, yet the year before that there were only 157 encounters.
The Department of Homeland Security says the border is secure and claims that the biggest terror threat the U.S. faces is ‘domestic extremists’ radicalised by “false narratives propagated on online platforms.”
The latest data shows that on the whole, CBP apprehended 128,877 people who crossed the border illegally in January and another 128,913 in February.
Those figures are down from December when a record amount of illegal crossings were recorded, as 251,487 illegal immigrants crossed, marking the highest monthly total in history. A total of 17 individuals on the terrorism watchlist were apprehended.
Last week, during testimony before the House, Border Patrol chief Raúl Ortiz contradicted Biden administration officials by stating that there is a full on crisis on the southern border, urging that it is not secure, and calling for a wall to be built.
Ortiz noted that there have already been approximately 385,000 known gotaways at the border since fiscal year 2023 began on Oct 1. That is in addition to 600,000 in FY’22, and 390,000 in FY’21. There have been approximately 1.4 million gotaways since start of FY’21.

Video: Border Patrol Chief Testifies Border Is Not Secure, Wall Needed
Not a single Democrat attended the hearing
During testimony before the House Wednesday, Border Patrol chief Raúl Ortiz contradicted Biden administration officials by stating that there is a full on crisis on the southern border, urging that it is not secure, and calling for a wall to be built.
Biden officials, including DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, have repeatedly claimed that the border is under control, yet Ortiz confirmed that there is no operational control of the entire southern border.
Rep. Mark Green questioned Ortiz with a display behind him that noted “operational control,” as defined by U.S. law, is “the prevention of all unlawful entries into the United States, including entries by terrorists, other unlawful aliens, instruments of terrorism, narcotics and other contraband.”
Ortiz went on to talk about the numbers flooding the border:
Elsewhere during the hearing, Ortiz said it was a mistake to stop building President Trump’s wall. He also defended the agents who were accused and cleared of whipping migrants while on horseback.

Videos: Massive Group Of 1000 Illegals Attempts To Smash Through El Paso Border Barriers
Happening all the time
Video and photos have emerged of a massive group of 1000 illegal immigrants attempting to rush the border at at check point on the Paso Del Notre bridge.
The establishment media barely reported on the incident, with Fox News’ Bill Melugin the only reporter to cover the incident.
The footage shows that most trying to cross are young men.
Both Mexican police and U.S. border agents managed to stop the attempt to crash through the check point utilising barricades of barbed wire and other physical barriers.
The migrants were reportedly emboldened by a rumour that the CBP on the bridge was letting people through days earlier:

The latest incident comes in the wake of revelations that The Red Cross is providing materials including maps to undocumented immigrants in an attempt help them successfully illegally cross the border into the U.S.
