Poll Finds Trump is More Admired Than Biden or The Pope

The Donald is still popular.

A new poll has found that Donald Trump is more admired than Pope Francis or Joe Biden.

The survey, conducted by YouGov, places Trump at number 13 for the world’s most admired man, while the Pope is below him at number 16 and Biden further down in 20th place.

Trump’s relatively high placing is all the more impressive given the sustained media campaign against him and the former president being blamed for the January 6 “siege.”

The most admired man in the world remains Barack Obama, despite the fact that compared to many others on the list he is rarely even that much of a public figure these days.

Indeed, the top three remains unchanged, with Chinese President Xi Xinping at number 3 and Bill Gates at number 2, despite the fallout from Gates’ notorious divorce.

Michelle Obama remains the world’s most admired woman, with actress Angelina Jolie bizarrely keeping her place at number 2 above the likes of the Queen of England and Malala Yousafazi.

Perhaps emphasizing the dubious nature of the survey, Kamala Harris, who has an favorability rating of just 40 per cent, is in 11th place just above Hillary Clinton, who is in 12th position.

Trump is once again expected to run for president in 2024, with Hillary Clinton complaining that another win for the Donald would mean “the end of democracy.”

Support For Republican Party Rises to Highest Level Since 1995

9 per cent boost since start of 2021.

A new poll finds that support for the Republican Party has risen to its highest since 1995, enjoying a 9 per cent boost since the start of 2021.

According to the Gallup survey, 47 per cent of Americans identified as Republican or Republican-leading at the end of last year, compared to just 38 per cent at the start of the year.

“Meanwhile, 42 percent of survey participants identified as Democrat or Democrat-leaning between October 1 and December 31, a seven percent decrease from the first quarter of the year,” reports the Daily Mail.

With Republicans likely to take both the Senate and the House later this year, it appears increasingly plausible than Biden will be a lame duck president.

As we highlighted last week, Biden’s approval rating dropped by a whopping 11 points in a single month, leaving him on a record low of 33 per cent.

A separate poll also found that just 15.5 per cent of Americans trust Biden when it comes to information about COVID, while his inability to stop runaway inflation has also eviscerated support for his administration.

Meanwhile, a separate poll conducted by Schoen Cooperman Research finds that the number of Americans who believe Joe Biden legitimately won the election has shrunk by 10 per cent since last April.

Now only a narrow majority of 54 per cent think Biden won fair and square.

The same poll found that only 26 per cent believe democracy “is secured for future generations,” while 51 per cent think it’s in danger of extinction.

Democrats Moving Away From Lockdown Restrictions Over Fears of Being Crushed Politically

“People have run out of patience.”

In response to plummeting approval ratings, Democrats are now moving away from lockdown policies they previously vehemently advocated over fears about being wiped out politically.

That’s according to a new report by Politico, which notes how, “Omicron is surging — and Democrats aren’t shutting things down this time.”

“From New York to California, Democratic mayors and governors are fighting to keep schools and businesses open with an urgency they haven’t flexed before in the pandemic,” writes Lisa Kashinsky.

That sea change likely has a lot to do with Republicans securing a November clean sweep of the House, as well as the offices of governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general in Virginia.

Republican Glenn Youngkin appealed to parents who were angry over school closures and other issues such as mask mandates, while New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy came closer to defeat than expected over frustrations relating to COVID restrictions.

Big events such as the Super Bowl in L.A. will now go ahead, while the likes of Fauci and Biden refrained from telling Americans to cancel holiday plans despite record case numbers caused by Omicron.

“Democrats went further than most Republicans in shutting down businesses, enforcing social distancing and requiring masks to tame the spread of the virus — and were initially rewarded politically for their caution,” states the report.

“But as the nation trudges into a third pandemic year in the grips of another variant-fueled wave, blue state leaders faced with exhausted and frustrated voters have lost the stomach for strict shutdowns.”

According to Bob Blendon, a polling and political strategy expert at the Harvard T.H. Chan School, Democrats “see an upcoming election, they see backlashes.”

“They can’t close things down, and there is no public tolerance for serious disruptions in people’s lives. People have run out of patience,” said Blendon.

Polling has also been dreadful for Democrats, with Biden’s approval rating sinking to a new low as just 15.5% of Americans say they trust the president when it comes to information about COVID-19.

“Everything our government tried to contain this virus has failed and now, thanks to Omicron, everyone is getting infected with a “live covid vaccine” that’s relatively mild and actually works,” comments Chris Menahan.

“With the combination of Omicron infecting millions and Democrats getting wiped out politically there’s a decent chance we may actually be able to move on from this hysteria and get on with life.”

Biden’s Approval Rating Drops to New Record Low

Dissatisfaction with his handling of the economy key as inflation soars.

Joe Biden’s approval rating has dropped to a new record low, with just 33 per cent of Americans supporting the president, a massive drop of 11 points from last month.

A Quinnipiac University poll found that 53 per cent disapprove of the job Biden is doing, while around 13 per cent are not sure about him.

According to the survey, 49 per cent believe Biden is dividing the country, thereby breaking his inauguration promise, while 42 per cent believe he is working to unite it.

Meanwhile, with Trump expected to run again in 2024, a YouGov poll found that the former president was more admired than Biden or the Pope.

A poll conducted Redfield & Wilton Strategies at the end of December found that Trump would beat Biden by 6 points if the election were held now.

Record COVID cases, spiraling crime rates and a continued failure to secure the borders certainly aren’t helping Biden.

However, the economy is clearly the primary driver behind the dissatisfaction, with 57 per cent of poll respondents disapproving of Biden’s handling of it.

Inflation hit a 39-year high in December, with supply chain and worker shortages causing the cost of staples such as food, rent and cars to skyrocket.

While Americans are being told the official rate of inflation is 7 per cent, the actual percentage rise of products and services is far higher.
