New York ER Closes As Employees Refuse To Comply With Vaccine Mandate
Workers were given an ultimatum to either get vaccinated or be banned from coming to work
An emergency room in a hospital in New York ceased operation as staff walked out, refusing to go along with the COVID vaccine mandate.
A statement released by the Mount Sinai South Nassau hospital notes that workers were given an ultimatum to either get vaccinated or be banned from coming to work.
A significant number of staff chose the latter, leading to the ER in Long Beach to shut down.
“The Emergency Department in Long Beach operated by Mount Sinai South Nassau, will be closed temporarily as of 3 PM today due to nursing staff shortages,” the statement announced.
It continues, “The staffing shortage and closure of the LBED is a result of the Hospital’s compliance with the NYSDOH’s mandate… requiring the suspension of all staff working under temporary religious exemptions who could not show proof today of receiving a first dose of COVID-19 vaccination or a valid medical exemption from receiving it.”
“We regret having to take this step but the safety of our patients is always our No. 1 priority,” the statement continues, adding “This closure should not be interpreted as anything beyond what it is – a temporary measure designed to relieve current staffing challenges in our Emergency Department.”
Reports have suggested that the ER is set to reopen after the shortages were resolved, however the incident highlights the impact that enforced vaccination is having on health services.
Presumably those workers who continue to refuse to comply with the mandate will simply be replaced by new workers who will.
The vaccine mandate for health workers was announced in August by the New York State Department of Health, with religious exemptions on the whole not being granted.
The latest closure of this emergency room comes as nurses and officials at the Children’s hospital where all the kids injured in the horrific Waukesha car attack were taken revealed that treatment is being hampered by a staff shortage brought on by the COVID vaccine mandate.

Videos: Football Players Still Collapsing, Having Heart Attacks, And Even Dying On The Pitch
Two more in the past week
In the past week, two high profile football (soccer for Americans) players have collapsed on the field of play, continuing a trend that has seemingly now become the norm.
Last Wednesday, 28-year-old Brazilian player Zé Carlos, from the club Ferroviário suffered a sudden illness while playing in a cup match.
He was treated as the game went on, according to reports, and returned to the pitch for a short time before being substituted and then collapsing and being taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Thankfully, the player was later released from hospital and is recovering.
In another incident in Spain, 25-year-old Serbian defender Dragisa Gudelj collapsed on the pitch, suffering a cardiac arrest.
Reports state that doctors performed CPR on the field reviving Gudelj. They treated him for seven minutes before taking him to the hospital.
Other players were left in a state of shock with some breaking down in tears. The game was abandoned after the incident.
The reports state that when Gudelj regained consciousness he wanted to carry on playing in the match.
The player is now “stable” but under “close surveillance” in hospital.
Gudelj’s brother, who also plays in Spain sent out an update noting “The life of my brother, (his heart is) still beating, thanks to the medical services of Cordoba CF.”
In addition to these two incidents, earlier this month, an Ivorian defender for RC Abidjan, Moustapha Sylla, was not so fortunate as he sadly passed away after collapsing during a league game.
He was just 21-years-old.
In Greece last month, a 20-year-old player from Karditsa suddenly collapsed without any contact with another footballer and later died in hospital.
The ongoing spate of players experiencing heart problems, chest pains, and at worst collapsing and dying has led many to call for investigations into what is causing an apparent elevation of such incidents.

Anger As Djokovic Withdraws From US Open; STILL BANNED From Entering U.S. Due To Vaccination Status
“Literally the healthiest male on the planet is denied entry”
The world’s number one tennis player Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Miami Open and the U.S. Open because he is still banned from entering the country owing to his vaccination status.
While the news is being reported as a “visa dispute,” the reason Djokovic cannot complete is because he refuses to take the COVID vaccine.
Djokovic has appealed for a special dispensation to play in the tournaments, given that the restrictions are slated to end in April anyway.
Djokovic requested a vaccine waiver, however it was rejected by the Homeland Security Department in a blatant move to once make an example out of the premier athlete.
Senators Rick Scott and Marco Rubio of Florida expressed support for the 22 time grand slam victor, and called on Congress to throw out Joe Biden’s “bogus vaccine mandate.”
“It has come to our attention that your administration is in receipt of a request to waive the current vaccine mandate for international travelers entering the United States from top-ranked men’s tennis player Novak Djokovic,” the Senators wrote in a letter.
“We write to urge you to grant the requested waiver, which is necessary to allow Mr. Djokovic to compete in the Miami Open professional tennis tournament held in our home state of Florida beginning March 19, 2023,” the pair added.
The letter continues, “In September 2022, you plainly declared to a national audience on 60 Minutes that ‘the [COVID-19] pandemic is over,’ and, earlier this year, Dr. Anthony Fauci published a professional article acknowledging the limited efficacy of vaccines in protecting against respiratory pathogens, like the novel coronavirus.”
“In light of these changing circumstances, and admissions by you and members of your own administration, the current restrictive vaccine mandate which you have maintained for international travelers entering the United States seems outdated and worthy of rescission,” the Senators urge.
They add, “Mr. Djokovic is a world-class athlete in peak physical condition who is not at high-risk of severe complications from COVID-19. It seems both illogical and misaligned with the opinions of your own administration to not grant him the waiver he requests so that he may travel to the U.S. to compete in a professional event.”
