Video: Al Gore’s Latest ‘Solution’ To Climate Change Is Mass Surveillance

Meanwhile, new research finds that the carbon footprints of the wealthiest 1% are on track to be 30 times larger than the size compatible with limiting global warming to 1.5°C

Speaking from the private jet and super yacht owners gathering, otherwise known as the COP 26 summit, Al Gore touted his latest solution to curb carbon emissions, mass surveillance via satellites, sensors and artificial intelligence.

In the interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Gore declared that technology created by the so called Climate TRACE coalition will monitor greenhouse gas emissions and root out the culprits.

“We get data consistently from 300 existing satellites, more than 11,000 ground-based, air-based, sea-based sensors, multiple internet data streams and using artificial intelligence,” Gore explained, adding “All that information is combined, visible light, infrared, all of the other information that is brought in, and we can now accurately determine where the greenhouse gas emissions are coming from.”

Gore, who in 2008 said there would be no polar ice caps left within five years, continued, “And next year we’ll have it down to the level of every single power plant, refinery, every large ship, every plane, every waste dump, and we’ll have the identities of the people who are responsible for each of those greenhouse gas emission streams.”

And what, pray tell will happen to these climate criminals Al?

“If investors or governments, or civil society activists want to hold them responsible, they will have the information upon which to base their action and holding them responsible,” Gore proclaimed.

Watch:

What Gore and his 300 satellites will find is that it is the elite super rich luxury class who are the world’s largest polluters.

New research by the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP) and the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) has found that by 2030, the carbon footprints of the wealthiest 1% of humanity are on track to be 30 times larger than the size compatible with limiting global warming to 1.5°C by the end of the century, the Paris Agreement’s more ambitious temperature target.

The report notes that should current trends continue, the richest 1% will account for 16% of global CO2 emissions in 2030.

The paper notes that “They increasingly drive the extent of global inequality, and likely have a greater impact on the political and social acceptability of national emissions reduction efforts,” adding “It is therefore notable that in all of the major emitting countries, the richest 10% and 1% nationally are set to have per capita consumption footprints substantially above the 1.5⁰C global per capita level.”

“The emissions from a single billionaire spaceflight would exceed the lifetime emissions of someone in the poorest billion people on Earth,” Nafkote Dabi, Oxfam’s climate policy lead, said in a further statement.

Dabi added that “A tiny elite appear to have a free pass to pollute. Their oversized emissions are fueling extreme weather around the world and jeopardizing the international goal of limiting global heating.”

“The emissions of the wealthiest 10% alone could send us beyond the agreed limit in the next nine years,” Dabi continuing, urging that “This would have catastrophic results for some of the most vulnerable people on Earth who are already facing deadly storms, hunger, and destitution.”

As we noted last week, the COP Climate Summit has drawn in elite dignitaries on over 400 private jets, with conservative estimates suggesting that this will equate to 13,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

The likes of Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and Prince Charles, who live their lives on on private jets, super yachts and space flights, immediately took to lecturing the rest of the world on their carbon footprints.

They’re jet setting around the planet to meet with each other, gorge on prime venison and beef steaks, while telling everyone else to shut up, stay home and eat bugs:

Video: Climate ‘Czar’ John Kerry Lauds China, Says They Have More Electric Cars

Ignores that fact that China is the world’s biggest polluter

In an MSNBC interview Wednesday, Biden’s so called ‘climate car’ John Kerry refused to criticise China for being the globe’s biggest polluter, and instead defended the Communist state, reasoning that it has more electric vehicles than the U.S.

Kerry was asked about China’s repeated refusal to act in accordance with other nations in reducing carbon emissions.

“What can be done about China and their seeming reluctance to participate in affairs of climate control with other nations?” the host asked.

Kerry claimed that “China, interestingly enough … has a plan,” while admitting that “they could be doing more.”

Could be doing more? That’s some understatement. China is the biggest emitter of fossil fuel carbon dioxide emissions on the globe, accounting to close to A THIRD of all emissions.

China emits more greenhouse gas than the entire developed world combined, research by the Rhodium Group has concluded.

If you believe that is killing the planet, as Kerry claims he does, then China should be repeatedly criticised as the primary culprit.

Instead, Kerry lauded the communist state, further claiming that “more electric vehicles will be put on the road over the next year or so in China than in all of the rest of the world put together.”

“I’m not excusing China,” Kerry said, adding “I’m just telling you that China is moving to do additional things. They are deploying renewable power at a rate that exceeds all other nations, they are the largest manufacturer of renewables in the world, and so China is moving.”

    Watch:

Kerry, along with other Biden officials, has repeatedly touted electric cars, which cost on average close to 70 thousand dollars and in many cases lead to more carbon emissions than regular cars.

While Kerry repeatedly claims climate change is a grave existential threat that is worth hundreds of thousands of Americans losing their jobs to combat, he refuses to give up traveling on private jets:

Indeed, Kerry’s family private jet has emitted over 300 metric tons of carbon since Biden took office, federal data shows:

Climate Activist’s Rank Hypocrisy Exposed in Hilarious Radio Interview

Says people shouldn’t be allowed to fly to Fiji, before admitting she just flew to Fiji.

A Greta Thunberg-style climate activist asserted that people shouldn’t be allowed to fly to places like Fiji due to the harm it does to the planet, before admitting that she had just flown to Fiji.

    Yes, really.

16-year-old School Strike 4 Climate activist Izzy Cook made the remarks during an interview with NewstalkZB host Heather du Plessis-Allan.

“So we would have to apply to have like, approved events to be able to fly for?” du Plessis-Allan asked.

“Well that’s one thing that you could look at doing,” Cook said.

“Am I allowed to go to Fiji? Is that necessary?” du Plessis-Allan asked.

Cook replied, “In the current climate crisis I don’t think that that’s necessary.”

The host then quizzed Cook on the details of her previous plane trip.

“Mm, I’m not sure – maybe a few months ago to be honest,”she said.

“Where’d you go?” the host asked.

    “Fiji,” Cook conceded.

The host couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

Of course, now that the activist and her hypocrisy has been exposed, the media is rushing to amplifying claims that she is being “bullied.”

By using children as human shields for their agenda (they did it with Greta for years), climate change groups can protect themselves against criticism by claiming anyone who questions their propaganda is attacking minors.

This “do as I say, not as I do” attitude is also common to virtually all ‘climate activists’, the vast majority of whom come from privileged backgrounds and enjoy lives of luxury while telling everyone else to make sacrifices.

Prince Charles, now King Charles, constantly wags wagging his finger at people over their carbon footprint.

Last year, it was revealed he had flown 120,213 miles miles on private jets & helicopters over the last 5 years alone.

WEF Piece Lauds How “Billions” Across the World Complied With Lockdown Restrictions

And how they’d do the same to comply with a social credit-style carbon rationing scheme.

An opinion piece published by the World Economic Forum lauds how “billions” of people complied with “restrictions” imposed as a result of lockdown, suggesting they would do the same under the guise of reducing carbon emissions.

The article is titled ‘My Carbon’: An approach for inclusive and sustainable cities’ and was written by Mridul Kaushik, Mission Director, Smart Cities Mission, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs of India.

The subject of the piece is how to convince people to adopt “personal carbon allowance programs” given that such schemes have so far been largely unsuccessful.

However, Kaushik notes that improvements in tracking and surveillance technology are helping to overcome “political resistance” against such programs.

Writing that “COVID-19 was the test of social responsibility,” Kaushik commends how, “A huge number of unimaginable restrictions for public health were adopted by billions of citizens across the world.”

“There were numerous examples globally of maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, mass vaccinations and acceptance of contact-tracing applications for public health, which demonstrated the core of individual social responsibility,” he adds.

In citing how so many people complied with lockdown mandates, despite overwhelming evidence of the harmful consequences such restrictions had on society, Kaushik implies that they’d behave in a similarly obsequious manner in other areas of life.

Such conformity would be encouraged via technology, including artificial intelligence, digitization and “smart home” devices, argues Kaushik.

The article goes on to call for a social-credit style carbon emissions rationing scheme that would provide “individual advisories on lower carbon and ethical choices for consumption of product and services.”

New social norms would also be created to define what “a fair share” of personal emissions represents, and determine “acceptable levels” of personal emissions.

We previously documented how technocrats are preparing “mandatory” personal carbon allowances that would introduce rationing into every area of your life via an app that would record your travel, heating expenses and even the food you eat.

As we highlight in the video below, climate change groups are also working with television producers to insert messages about global warming and carbon emissions into shows.
