The results of a poll reveal that more than half of unvaccinated Americans say “nothing” will change their mind about getting the jab.

Researchers in Boston, New York and Barcelona found that 53 per cent of participants who hadn’t been vaccinated won’t be convinced by anyone to take the shot.

13 per cent said they may be swayed by advice from a close friend or family member, while 9 per cent said a recommendation from a family doctor could change their mind.

“Conservatives, people living in poverty, and those who worked outside the home were more likely to be against vaccination, the survey data showed,” reports the Daily Mail.

The fact that the survey was conducted in April 2021, before the ‘delta’ surge and the announcement of the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate scheme is telling.

Over 6 months ago, the poll found that 21 per cent of respondents said they did not want to get the vaccine.

Current figures show that around 20 per cent of U.S. adults remain unvaccinated, meaning that only around 1 per cent have been convinced during that time.

As we highlighted earlier, unvaccinated Americans working for companies with more than 100 employees are set to be punished by being forced to wear masks at all times indoors.

While a slim majority of Americans say their minds can’t be changed when it comes to getting the vaccine, the number is significantly higher in Germany.

As we previously reported, 90 per cent of Germans who haven’t taken the COVID-19 vaccine say they won’t get it, with only the remaining 10 per cent saying they will “probably” get it or remaining undecided.

The Biden administration’s onerous vaccine mandate is forcing Americans to “choose between putting food on their tables or receiving a vaccine,” according to critics.

Earlier today, the administration revealed that businesses with 100 employees or more that don’t enforce vaccine mandates before January 4th are at risk of being punished by a staggering $136,532 fine.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is also considering extending the rule to businesses with fewer than 100 employees, potentially impacting millions more companies.

As we highlighted earlier, employees who don’t take the shot will also be punished by being forced to wear face masks indoors at all times.

Republican critics responded by savaging the Biden White House for imposing such rules during a period of chronic supply chain and jobs market problems.

“Our economy is crumbling, and President Biden is doing everything in his power to make it worse,” Senator Marsha Blackburn said in a statement. “While businesses scramble to fill the 10.4 million open jobs in our country, Biden’s vaccine mandate will push even more Americans out of the workforce.”

“No American should be forced to choose between putting food on their tables or receiving a vaccine,” Republican Representative Jody Hice of Georgia told the Daily Mail.

“Despite the Democrats’ shellacking this week, the Biden administration is pressing on with their unconstitutional mandate requiring private businesses to mandate vaccination to avoid fines up to $1 million,” said GOP Representative Byron Donalds of Florida.

“Americans from southwest Florida and all across the nation will have to choose between food on the table or taking a shot they feel they do not need,” he added. “This tyrannical mandate is a gross infringement of medical privacy and the individual rights of every American and won’t hold water in the judicial system.”

Some companies are already preparing lawsuits to challenge the vaccine mandate.

“Biden’s tyrannical vaccine mandate goes into effect on January 4th. We’re fighting back at the Daily Wire. We made a difference in Virginia and we can win here too. Lawsuit was filed this morning. You can talk all you want but it means nothing if you still comply. We won’t,” revealed Matt Walsh.

“Private enterprise is not the enforcement arm of the federal government. If you want to tyrannically coerce people to get vaccinated, do it yourself,” tweeted Jeremy Boreing. “We will not comply.”

However, the OSHA asserted that its ruling overrides any efforts by red states to pass laws that nullify the vaccine mandate.

The Biden administration is being accused of using face masks as a “punishment” after it was announced that employees who are unvaccinated would be forced to wear them.

Earlier today, it was revealed that the new rules, which apply to businesses with over 100 employees, federal contractors and certain healthcare workers, would go into effect on January 4th.

From that date, all employees will be required to be fully vaccinated, a mandate that covers 84 million employees working at large employers.

According to the mandate, employers are required to ensure “that each employee who is not fully vaccinated wears a face covering when indoors or when occupying a vehicle with another person for work purposes.”

Critics are accusing the administration of weaponizing “Masks as punishment and social ostracism for choosing not to get a vaccine.”

The mandates are being introduced despite massive supply chain issues and employees in numerous sectors staging walkouts to protest the mandatory vaccine rules.

States that try to pass laws that ban mandatory vaccines will also be overruled, according to the announcement.

“Both OSHA and CMS are making clear that their new rules preempt any inconsistent state or local laws, including laws that ban or limit an employer’s authority to require vaccination, masks, or testing,” said a fact sheet.

Employees who don’t wish to take the vaccine will be forced to provide negative COVID tests on a weekly basis.

“The agency will have planned inspections of some workplaces to ensure they are in compliance with the rule but will also rely on complaints from workers in order to best enforce the new rule,” reports CNN.

Meanwhile, the OSHA is also considering expanding the vaccine mandate to businesses with fewer than 100 employees, meaning millions more companies could be forced to impose the rules.
