Instagram Censors Evolutionary Biologist For Post Pointing Out Men Are Physically Stronger Than Women

This is what anti-science looks like

Facebook owned Instagram has censored Evolutionary biologist Colin Wright after he posted a chart that proves men are biologically stronger than women in a range of sports, even if they have undergone gender transitioning treatment.

Instagram removed Wright’s post which contained a chart from a scientific study titled Transgender Women in the Female Category of Sport: Perspectives on Testosterone Suppression and Performance Advantage.

The peer-reviewed study was published in the journal Medicine & Sports, which has been in wide circulation since 1969.

The study by researchers at the University of Manchester in the UK and Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm found that biological males categorically have performance advantages over biological females across sports that are contested in the Olympics.

Wright also noted that he wasn’t able to appeal the censorship, despite Instagram claiming he could do so:

The study, one of several to conclude the same thing, found that the use of typical testosterone suppression methods doesn’t diminish the performance advantage that exists between biological men and women by a significant amount.

The study, which was published before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, also found that even after three years of hormone therapy, transgender women on average still retain strength advantages over biological women.

However, as far as big tech is concerned, on this occasion the science is hate speech:

Report: Scottish Government’s Vax Passport Sending People’s Private Data To Amazon, Microsoft

“Data has been shared with third parties without people having the option to opt out or without even being made aware that this is happening”

As if the liberty erasing connotations of vaccine passports were not enough on their own, it has been revealed that the Scottish government has allowed data from the scheme to be shared with private companies including Amazon.

The Daily Record reports, “We have learned the NHS mobile phone app which presents the personal medical information in the form of a QR Code shares data with companies including Amazon, Microsoft, ServiceNow, Royal Mail and an AI facial recognition firm.”

Users of the vaccine passport app were not informed their data would be shared, according to the report.

Commenting on the findings, Sam Grant of privacy advocate group Liberty warned “Vaccine passports create a two-tier society and already many people in Scotland have been coerced into getting a vaccine passport in order to attend events and access certain parts of society.”

Grant added, “It’s extremely concerning that, in doing so, data has been shared with third parties without people having the option to opt out or without even being made aware that this is happening. This only furthers the wide concerns people already have around vaccine passports.”

The leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrat party, Alex Cole-Hamilton, also stated that his party “have repeatedly warned the Government that data protection is virtually non-existent – a simple screenshot was enough to bypass whatever ‘security measures’ the system had in place.”

“The launch was a shambles and the IT system struggled to cope,” Cole-Hamilton explained, adding “Everyone has the right to medical privacy; nobody should ever have to provide part of their medical history to a bouncer or a series of private companies. That is just simply absurd.”

Silkie Carlo, the head of another Privacy advocate group, Big Brother Watch, explained Monday why the vaccine passports are a total failure in Scotland:

The British government has consistently lied about the introduction of vaccine passports:

Government data, and peer reviewed studies, show that the vaccinated are just as likely to spread the virus as the unvaxxed.

That being the case, the case for vaccine passports has been completely demolished:

YouTube Creator Slams Company’s Removal Of ‘Dislike’ Button As “Stupid Move”

Updates first ever video upload to the platform with comment “When every YouTuber agrees that removing dislikes is a stupid idea, it probably is.”

    Published

The co-founder of YouTube has labelled the company’s decision to remove the ‘dislike’ button as a “Stupid move.”

Jawed Karim, who sold his stake in YouTube for $65 million in 2006, was the first person to ever upload a video to YouTube and he used that video to comment on the scrapping of the ‘thumb down’ button.

In the description section of the video, which shows the engineer visiting San Diego zoo 16 years ago, Karim edited in the comment “When every YouTuber agrees that removing dislikes is a stupid idea, it probably is. Try again, YouTube.”

YouTube announced it will hide ‘dislikes’ from videos, reasoning that it will curb “creator harassment,” yet critics pointed out that this is merely a way of removing the huge amount of downvotes on videos posted by the Biden administration.

Another respondent pointed out the massive dislike ratio received by the Fauci propaganda movie.

With the recent popularity of the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ meme, this seems like another transparent attempt to protect the plunging popularity of Biden, whose approval rating just fell to a record low.

As we previously highlighted, despite being “the most popular president in U.S. history” after his *totally not unusual* vote record, Joe Biden didn’t fare too well on YouTube in the days after his inauguration, where every single video posted to the official White House channel received massive downvote ratios.

Thanks to YouTube, those ratios will apparently never be a problem again.

However, some have suggested that YouTube may be backflipping on the decision, with some dislikes that disappeared now reappearing on Monday.

As News.au.com noted, the most hated video on the platform, YouTube’s own ‘rewind 2018’ video, had it’s awful ratio removed recently, but then it reappeared:

Report: Google Ordered By Government To Track Americans’ Searches

Forbes obtained the information via ‘accidentally unsealed’ court documents

A report by Forbes has detailed how the U.S. government are secretly issuing keyword warrants to Google, ordering the search engine company to track and provide user data on anyone who searches specific names, addresses or phone numbers.

Forbes obtained the information via ‘accidentally unsealed’ court documents, which show that the FBI and Department of Homeland Security may have used the method to track suspects.

Critics argue that the practice violates the Fourth Amendment protection against unreasonable searches, and have described such cases as “effectively fishing expeditions.”

Jennifer Granick, surveillance and cybersecurity counsel at the American Civil Liberties Union warned that “Trawling through Google’s search history database enables police to identify people merely based on what they might have been thinking about, for whatever reason, at some point in the past.”

“This never-before-possible technique threatens First Amendment interests and will inevitably sweep up innocent people,” Granick added, further warning “especially if the keyword terms are not unique and the time frame not precise.”

“To make matters worse, police are currently doing this in secret, which insulates the practice from public debate and regulation,” Granick urged.

Google responded to the news with a statement defending its actions.

“As with all law enforcement requests, we have a rigorous process that is designed to protect the privacy of our users while supporting the important work of law enforcement,” the statement claimed.

Forbes notes that “Similar orders were served on Microsoft and Yahoo for their respective search engines.”

While the actual data the tech companies handed over remains sealed, the orders on Google can be read herehere and here, while the Microsoft and Yahoo orders can be found here and here.

The issue made headlines briefly last year, and has been ongoing for some time:
