Despite 95% Vaccination Rate, Harvard Experiences “Substantial Outbreak” of COVID

Moves all first and second year students to remote learning.

Despite having a vaccination rate higher than 95 per cent, Harvard Business School has been forced to move its first and second year students to remote learning after a “substantial” outbreak of COVID.

“In recent days, we’ve seen a steady rise in breakthrough infections among our student population, despite high vaccination rates and frequent testing,” Mark Cautela, head of communications for HBS, told Poets&Quants.

Despite the claim that the outbreak “is not occurring in classrooms or other academic settings on campus,” authorities have “decided to move all first-year MBA students, and some in the second year, to remote learning for the week of 9/27 to 10/03.”

According to Howard Foreman, a professor in the practice of management at Yale School of Management and a medical doctor, the situation represents a “substantial outbreak” that continues to worsen with “11 new graduate students testing positive in the last batch of tests.”

According to Harvard’s official coronavirus dashboard, 95% of students and 96% of employees are vaccinated against the virus.

“Is Harvard therefore implicitly admitting that vaccine effectiveness has waned to the point of total ineffectiveness?” asks Zero Hedge.

“So, despite all the promises of a ‘return to normal’ if only everyone were vaccinated (which in this case they are), it appears elite higher education in 2021 is no different from elite higher education in 2020… and certainly not any cheaper.”

Group activities and meetings have now all been moved online, with Harvard asking students to limit in-person interactions with others outside their household.

This again underscores how people will be mandated to get constant booster shots, with all the attendant health risks, because the longevity of protection the vaccine offers is minimal.

Meanwhile, natural immunity, which studies show offers 27 times more protection, is completely discredited by the media, with VICE recently denying its existence altogether.

Note also that Joe Biden said yesterday life in America won’t return to normal until 98% of the population is vaccinated.

Harvard almost reached that level and life is very much not back to normal.

Video: Fauci Blames Trump For China’s COVID Cover Up

Brags that GOP investigation of him is “not going to happen”

The overlord of science Anthony Fauci blamed President Trump Sunday for China’s continued obfuscation of the origins of COVID, claiming that it was Trump’s “anti-China approach” that encouraged the Communist state to be non-cooperative.

Now that he has retired, Anthony Fauci is devoting even more time to his favourite hobby, appearing on the news, shilling for China, and telling people to get booster shots.

In his latest appearance on CBS’ Face The Nation, Fauci declared “What happens is that if you look at the anti-China approach, that clearly the Trump administration had right from the very beginning, and the accusatory nature, the Chinese are going to flinch back and say, Oh, I’m sorry, we’re not going to talk to you about it, which is not correct. They should be.”

“I think that horse is out of the barn, and they’re very suspicious of anybody trying to accuse them,” Fauci continued, adding “We need to have an open dialogue with their scientists and our scientists, keep the politics out of it. And let the scientists- because these are scientists that we’ve known for decades, and we’ve collaborated with them.”

Watch:

He also blamed Republicans for politicising COVID and claimed he has “never been” political:

Fauci also claimed that China often “acts secretive” even “when there’s nothing at all to hide,” citing the SARS-CoV-1 outbreak in the early 2000s as one example.

That would be the outbreak that China tried to underplay and cover up then.

CBS host Margaret Brennan asked Fauci if he “agrees with that word cover-up?” to which he responded “I don’t know what that means.”

“I’m not sure what they’re talking about. I mean, if cover-up is not allowing people to come in and look at all the data, that’s not a cover, that’s not being transparent,” he further stated.

In a separate interview on NBC, Fauci repeated the claim that China always acts secretive and weird… nothing new to see here.

“Even when there’s nothing to hide they act in a suspicious, non-transparent way just probably because they don’t want to make it look like there’s a blame,” Fauci proclaimed.

During both interviews, Fauci shilled for more booster vaccines, claiming that multiple shots every year will be needed, and we are still in a pandemic.

And don’t forget to test everyone before dinner…

He also said he “doesn’t know” if schools will shut down again:

Finally Fauci, bragged that now the Republicans don’t have control over the Senate, an investigation of him led by Rand Paul is “not going to happen.”

Meanwhile, over at ABC, the latest Biden COVID minion Ashish Jha was asked “what do you do?” in response to the fact that “People aren’t listening” when being told by Fauci and others to get booster shots.

As we noted last week, Jha says he really believes that “God gave you two arms” so you can be injected with both the COVID booster and the Flu shot.

COVID Lockdown Protests Erupt In Beijing, Xinjiang After Deadly Fire

Protests have erupted in Beijing and the far western Xinjiang region over COVID-19 lockdowns and a deadly fire on Thursday in a high-rise building in Urumqi that killed 10 people (with some reports putting the number as high as 40).

Crowds took to the street in Urumqi, the capitol of Xinjiang, with protesters chanting “End the lockdown!” while pumping their fists in the air, following the circulation of videos of the fire on Chinese social media on Friday night.

Protest videos show people in a plaza singing China’s national anthem – particularly the line: “Rise up, those who refuse to be slaves!” Others shouted that they did not want lockdowns. In the northern Beijing district of Tiantongyuan, residents tore down signs and took to the streets.

Reuters verified that the footage was published from Urumqi, where many of its 4 million residents have been under some of the country’s longest lockdowns, barred from leaving their homes for as long as 100 days.

In the capital of Beijing 2,700 km (1,678 miles) away, some residents under lockdown staged small-scale protests or confronted their local officials over movement restrictions placed on them, with some successfully pressuring them into lifting them ahead of a schedule. –Reuters

According to an early Saturday news conference by Urumqi officials, COVID measures did not hamper escape and rescue during the fire, but Chinese social media wasn’t buying it.

The Urumqi fire got everyone in the country upset,” said Beijing resident Sean Li.

    According to Reuters

A planned lockdown for his compound “Berlin Aiyue” was called off on Friday after residents protested to their local leader and convinced him to cancel it, negotiations that were captured by a video posted on social media.

The residents had caught wind of the plan after seeing workers putting barriers on their gates. “That tragedy could have happened to any of us,” he said.

By Saturday evening, at least ten other compounds lifted lockdown before the announced end-date after residents complained, according to a Reuters tally of social media posts by residents.
