White House to Announce More COVID Measures This Week Despite Vaccine Mandate Backlash

Critics say it will merely harden resistance.

Despite the massive backlash against a federal vaccine mandate, the Biden White House is set to announce more COVID measures this week, according to the U.S. Surgeon General.

Last week, the administration announced that it would mandate the vaccine via the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, meaning employers with over 100 workers would have to force staff to get the vaccine or face massive fines.

This prompted a wave of resistance with conservatives and Republicans finally appearing to find a line in the sand that they could unite behind.

Numerous Governors asserted they would attempt to block the mandate through the courts.

“I will pursue every legal option available to the state of Georgia to stop this blatantly unlawful overreach by the Biden administration,” Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp wrote last week.

However, despite the rebellion, the Biden administration seems to be doubling down, with U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy revealing that there will be more measures announced before the U.N. General Assembly meets this week.

“There will be more actions that we continue to work on, especially in the global front,” said Murthy.

“What the president and what all of us have said as public health leaders from the earliest part of this pandemic is that we have to use every level of government, and we all in the private sector have to do everything we can to tackle this virus,” Murthy said. “The requirements the president announced are an example of that.”

In a separate interview with ABC News, Murthy claimed that vaccine mandates such as the one enforced by Tyson Foods increase vaccine uptake.

However, others insist that the mandates will actually harden resistance.

“This is going to harden opposition,” said former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. “Sometimes when you’re a leader, you have to go in and use a sledgehammer. And I’ve been known to do that when I was governor. Sometimes it’s appropriate, but this one was not the time to do it. We have to be persuasive, we have to continue to persuade.”

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson echoed Christie’s sentiment, asserting, “We’re all together in trying to get an increased level of vaccination out in the population. The problem is that I’m trying to overcome resistance. But the president’s actions in a mandate hardens the resistance.”

A story in the Express claimed that a father furiously blamed “anti-vaxxers” for his daughter dying from COVID, despite the fact that the woman died in March 2020, before COVID-19 vaccines were available.

Poll Finds Only 10% of Americans Trust Media on COVID, 30% Trust Fauci

Only 15.5% trust Biden.

A new poll has found that just 10 per cent of Americans trust the media when it comes to information about COVID-19, while just over 30 per cent trust Anthony Fauci.

Wow.

The survey was conducted by NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ.

It asked participants, “When it comes to information about COVID-19, which of the following sources would you say you trust? Select all that apply.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci: 30.8%
Federal health authorities like the CDC and the FDA: 49.8%
Your doctor: 63.2%
President Biden: 15.5%
The news media: 10.2%

Put it another way, almost 90 per cent of Americans don’t trust the media when it comes to COVID and fewer than one in five trust Joe Biden.

No wonder Biden is begging social media companies to engage in even more censorship of information relating to COVID-19.

The numbers are even more staggering when one considers the fact that 73.9 per cent of respondents are vaccinated.

The poll also found that 51.8 per cent of Americans think the pandemic will “never” be over, compared to 30 per cent who think it will be over in a year.

The poll has a margin of error of 5.8 per cent.

With Biden’s approval rating having sunk to a new record low, the regime really has been taking a lot of L’s recently.

British Government Used “Propagandistic” Fear Tactics to Scare Public Into Mass Compliance

Behavioral scientist who co-founded Downing Street nudge unit speaks out.

The British government used “propagandistic” fear tactics to scare the public into mass compliance during the first COVID lockdown, according to a behavioral scientist who worked inside Downing Street.

Simon Ruda co-founded Number 10’s ‘Nudge Unit’, which was initially set up to encourage positive behavioral changes in the British public without the need for coercion or legislation, but was weaponized during the pandemic to create scaremongering.

“In my mind, the most egregious and far-reaching mistake made in responding to the pandemic has been the level of fear willingly conveyed on the public,” wrote Ruda.

“That fear seems to have subsequently driven policy decisions in a worrying feed-back loop,” he added, noting that such actions amounted to “state sanctioned propaganda.”

The behavioral scientist said that an obsession with daily case numbers came to dominate thinking, serving to spread even more fear.

That process included grossly exaggerating the threat posed by COVID and producing lurid, alarmist propaganda to frighten the population into subservience.

As we previously highlighted, scientists in the UK working as advisors for the government admitted using what they now concede to be “unethical” and “totalitarian” methods of instilling fear in the population in order to control behavior during the pandemic.

The London Telegraph reported the comments made by Members of the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Behaviour (SPI-B), a sub-committee of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) the government’s chief scientific advisory group.

The report quotes a briefing from March 2020, as the first lockdown was decreed, that stated the government should drastically increase “the perceived level of personal threat” that the virus poses because “a substantial number of people still do not feel sufficiently personally threatened.”

One scientist with the SPI-B admits that, “In March [2020] the Government was very worried about compliance and they thought people wouldn’t want to be locked down. There were discussions about fear being needed to encourage compliance, and decisions were made about how to ramp up the fear.”

The unnamed scientist added that, “The way we have used fear is dystopian.”

The scientist further confessed that, “The use of fear has definitely been ethically questionable. It’s been like a weird experiment. Ultimately, it backfired because people became too scared.”

The fearmongering campaign clearly worked.

By the summer of 2020, the average Brit thought 6-7% of the population of the UK had died from coronavirus, a figure equating to around 4.5 million people.

At the time, COVID-19 had actually claimed around 40,000 lives.

But don’t worry, all this is of no importance whatsoever, because ‘fact checkers’ have ruled that ‘mass formation psychosis’ isn’t a thing that happened at all during the pandemic.
