Less than a week after the Department of Homeland Security issued a bulletin saying that anti-government extremists angry at COVID measures could be preparing attacks, DC and New York were both hit with bomb scares.

Last Friday, the DHS warned that there was a “heightened” risk of attacks carried out by domestic extremists motivated by their opposition to lockdown measures and anti-government sentiment.

Earlier today, a man from North Carolina parked a truck outside the Library of Congress on Capitol Hill and began telling authorities that the vehicle contained an explosive device.

The man began filming a Facebook livestream explaining how he was a an ex-serviceman, but the social media site quickly removed the video.

In a video of the man’s statements posted to Twitter, the suspect rambles about wanting to speak to Joe Biden while threatening, “If you shoot me, 2 and a half blocks are going with me.”

Police apparently know the identity of the suspect but don’t know his motive, although he reportedly said he is “ready to die for the cause.”

According to Andrea Mitchell, the man has a criminal history and has expressed “anti-government views.”

Meanwhile, New York’s Times Square has also been evacuated after an object resembling a “cookie tin” was thrown at people in Father Duffy Square.

In light of the bomb threat in DC, authorities chose to lock down the area and told people to stay away.

Although the bomb threat in New York looks likely to be harmless, the situation in DC is precarious and ongoing.

The Capitol Police Officer who gave emotional testimony during which he claimed he was more frightened during the January 6 riot than during his deployment in Iraq has a history of anti-Trump statements and tacitly supported the BLM riots in Kenosha.

Well, imagine my shock.

Harry Dunn made headlines yesterday after giving teary-eyed testimony during which he claimed that he was called the n-word by Trump supporters while on patrol on that infamous day.

“You hear that, guys, this nigger voted for Joe Biden!” said a woman in a pink “MAGA” shirt, according to Dunn. “Boo! Fucking nigger!”

Dunn also asserted that he was more frightened of Trump supporters than any insurgents, terrorists or IED’s he may have risked encountering while stationed in Iraq.

“On 6 January, for the first time, I was more afraid to work at the Capitol than during my entire army deployment to Iraq,” he said.

However, it’s now come to light that Dunn tacitly praised the Black Lives Matter riots in Kenosha that caused $2 million in property damage and destroyed a community.

“Why is murder an appropriate response to property damage but property damage isn’t an appropriate response to murder?” Dunn responded to a Tucker Carlson tweet last August.

The officer also referred to President Trump as “the racist in chief” while praising Ilhan Omar.

“Dunn also criticized members of Trump’s administration for covering for the president and regularly hassled Fox News’s Laura Ingraham and Carlson,” reports the Federalist.

“Just a couple of weeks before he gave his testimony, Dunn also cheered on known Russia hoaxer Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell for telling the “truth” about the Capitol riot and condemned Fox News for not having him on as a guest,” writes Jordan Davidson.

All of this underscores the fact that Dunn’s testimony was completely biased and based on his own extreme prejudice, while his crocodile tears were likely nothing more than a pantomime performance for the cameras.

Multiple mainstream journalists spread fake news based on a doctored video to suggest that French President Emmanuel Macron was so loved on his arrival in French Polynesia that he was completely smothered in garland necklaces.

Turns out the entire thing was a scam based on a hoax video, but many journalists have refused to delete their viral tweets.

“On Monday, Illuminati Reptilien, a French satirical Twitter account known for the creation of doctored video shorts, posted an eight-second video of officials in French Polynesia officials draping the president in traditional garland necklaces,” reports Sputnik. “The final seconds of the video show Macron standing alongside other officials totally covered in flowers from his head down to his knees.”

Despite the fact that the video was a total hoax, it was amplified and reported as serious news by over a dozen journalists.

Frida Ghitis, a CNN and Washington Post contributor, tweeted about the flower-draped Macron, “My God! Macron over-garlanded in Polynesia.”

He eventually deleted the tweet, but others didn’t, including Noga Tarnopolsky, an Israel-based journalist who writes for the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, the Daily Beast.

“President Macron is turned into a human wreath during his official welcome to French Polynesia,” tweeted Tarnopolsky, receiving over 36,000 likes for the post.

Another Israeli journalist dubbed Macron, “The walking flower visiting French Polynesia.”

“Others, including Newsweek deputy opinion editor Batya Ungar-Sargon, The Guardian, New Statesman and Politico contributor Pauline Bock, BBC Radio 1 host Ali Plumb, The Daily Beast editor at large Molly Jong-Fast, and CNN senior global affairs analyst Bianna Golodryga were similarly duped,” reports Sputnik.

Imagine if Trump meme makers had published a similar doctored video that showed the former president receiving such adulation.

They’d be scorned, outed and potentially deplatformed for the joke, but mainstream journalists can get away with it with no consequences whatsoever.
