Video: Pentagon Admits It Will Consider Mandatory COVID Vaccines For Troops

“We’re preparing for when and if the FDA makes the decision”

Following days of denials that any directives have been issued concerning forcing active service members to take coronavirus shots, the Pentagon has now admitted that it will be considered once FDA approval has been given.

As we previously reported, an Army Times report noted last week that “The Army has directed commands to prepare to administer mandatory COVID-19 vaccines as early as Sept. 1, pending full Food and Drug Administration licensure.”

“The directive came from an execute order sent to the force by Department of the Army Headquarters,” the report adds.

An update to a purported leaked military directive says that “Commands will be prepared to provide a backbrief on servicemember vaccination status and way ahead for completion once the vaccine is mandated.”

The Army and the DoD denied any plans for mandatory vaccines, yet the rumours were enough for many concerned service members to contact their elected representatives and ask for action.

As we noted yesterday, Kentucky representative Thomas Massie has introduced legislation to block mandatory COVID vaccines for troops.

When asked about the matter by reporters Tuesday, Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby said “Should the FDA approve it then I am certain Pentagon leadership will take a look at what our options are going forward, including the potential options of making it mandatory. But I’m not going to get too far ahead of process right now.”

Watch:

“We are a planning organization. I don’t think that should surprise anybody that we’re trying to think about what the implications would be and how we would react to that,” he added.

Kirby further noted that as things stand the vaccines are still voluntary because they are under emergency use authorization.

“They are safe, they’re effective. And it’s really the best incentive to protect you, your families, and your teammates,” Kirby declared.

As Military.com notes, ‘Troops are already mandated to get 17 different vaccines, including shots against measles, mumps, diphtheria, hepatitis, smallpox and the flu,’ so it wouldn’t be surprising to see COVID shots mandated also.

The outlet also reported that a DoD source said “We’re all just kind of waiting to see what happens with the FDA. We’re preparing for when and if the FDA makes the decision.”

Watch: Psaki Says Biden Will Continue To Call Americans Who Do Not Support Him ‘Extremists’

Biden proclaimed that “MAGA is the most extreme political organization” in history

After Joe Biden declared Wednesday that “MAGA is the most extreme political organization” in US history, reporters questioned White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki if Americans should expect that kind of rhetoric to continue, and she said yes.

CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins noted that Biden “was sharply critical of the MAGA crowd,” asking Psaki “is that what we should expect to speak his message going into the midterms?”

Psaki responded, “I would expect you will hear” more of this rhetoric from Biden “over the next coming months.”

Watch:

When another reporter asked a similar question, noting how divisive the language is, Psaki responded “I think the president will be judged by Americans by his actions.”

Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy noted that Biden also claimed that Republicans might use the overturning of Roe vs Wade  segregate LGBTQ children from the other children in classrooms.

Doocy noted “The president said today, ‘What happens if you have states change the law saying that children who are LGBTQ can’t be in classrooms with other children?’” asking Psaki “What is he talking about?”

Psaki responded by using the word “extreme” again, asserting that “we don’t know what they’re capable of given what they’ve already done to date.”

“Which state is trying to segregate LGBTQ children in the classroom?” Doocy further probed.

Psaki again went to the “extreme”.

“Well, I think we’ve seen laws that are incredibly discriminatory. That’s what the President’s referring to and the fact that he doesn’t know what additional steps could be taken by extreme wings of the party that would rather divide rather than work on issues that the American people actually are focused on actually impacting them,” she responded.

Adam Schiff: “I Don’t Care How the Draft Leaked”

House Intelligence Committee Chairman tries to downplay unprecedented breach.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff asserted, “I don’t care how the draft leaked” in response to the Roe v Wade decision leak, despite it representing an unprecedented breach in Supreme Court history.

“I don’t care how the draft leaked. That’s a sideshow,” tweeted Schiff.

“What I care about is that a small number of conservative justices, who lied about their plans to the Senate, intend to deprive millions of women of reproductive care. Codifying Roe isn’t enough. We must expand the court,” he added.

As Breitbart reports, Schiff’s response is similar to how he attempted to protect the identity of the leaker of President Donald Trump’s classified call with the Ukrainian president.

“Schiff, during Trump’s impeachment hearings, sought to interfere with Republicans’ questioning when it came to the identity of the leaker,” writes Kristina Wong.

Speculation is rife as to the identity of the leaker, with some commentators calling for them to be arrested.

The only people with access to the original document were the nine justices and their 36 law clerks, meaning it’s almost certain that one of the 36 law clerks leaked the document.

When you consider that each justice has four clerks working for them, that probably narrows it down to one of 16 clerks working for the four Democrat-appointed justices.

Conservative commentator Will Chamberlain was pilloried by the media for suggesting that the individual is almost certainly Elizabeth Deutsch, who is currently a law clerk for Justice Breyer.

“I certainly think someone who has spent much of their academic and professional life fighting to expand the right to get an abortion could be desperate enough to do so,” tweeted Chamberlain.

Watch: Tucker Carlson Reminds America That Its Current President Voted AGAINST Roe Vs Wade

“Biden concluded Roe had gone ‘too far.'”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson noted Tuesday that Joe Biden voted against Roe vs Wade when he was a Senator, favouring making it a State issue, rather than a decision that should be made by the Supreme Court.

Carlson told viewers that “Joe Biden has always supported legal abortion, but nine years after the Roe decision was handed down, he was still willing to admit it was indefensible as a legal decision.”

The host continued, “Pregnant women, Biden explained in 1982 as a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, should not have “the sole right to say what should happen” to their unborn children, because, after all, no one creates children alone. It takes two people. That’s obvious.”

“In fact, Biden concluded Roe had gone ‘too far.’ And of course, it had gone too far. That was obvious then. It’s obvious now. Then, as now, many Americans believe that abortion is murder. Many other Americans consider abortion a prerequisite to happiness,” Carlson further noted.

During the monologue, Carlson called Roe vs Wade “the most embarrassing court decision handed down in the last century,” but noted that the leak of the draft opinion written by conservative Justice Samuel Alito was dangerous and that “people could get hurt”.

Carlson suggested that the leak was an intentional attempt to pressure conservative justices not to go through with overturning the ruling.

    Watch:

Recent polls have revealed that almost half of Americans believe that states should decide for themselves on the issue of abortion, with many of the opinion that terminations should be capped at 15 weeks.

In a Marist poll, 44% of people said it should be down to individual states to decide, while 48% said they would support the same law to apply after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

A Wall Street Journal poll also found 42% would support a ban on abortion after 6 weeks, while 48% supported a ban after 15 weeks.

A Gallup poll also found that 48% believe abortion should only be legal under certain circumstances.
