Michel Barnier Calls For 3-5 Year Suspension of Immigration Into EU

Cites threat of terrorists and criminals exploiting “sieve” borders.

Michel Barnier has called for a 3-5 year suspension of immigration into EU countries, warning that the bloc’s external borders have become a “sieve” for criminals and terrorists.

“I think we have to take the time for three or five years to suspend immigration,” Barnier told French media.

The EU’s former Brexit negotiator cited links between between immigration and “terrorist networks that infiltrate migrational flows” as part of his reasoning for calling for the shutdown, while also highlighting the issue of human trafficking networks.

The comments are particularly noteworthy because Barnier is known as a centrist – even a globalist in some ways – yet he is spouting rhetoric normally espoused by right-wing politicians.

When asked whether the comments contradicted his “moderate” reputation, Barnier responded, “The problems of immigration are not moderate. I know, as the politician that I am, to see the problems how they are and how French people experience them and to find solutions.”

However, Barnier made a point of asserting that the controls wouldn’t apply to “refugees,” despite the fact that there have been numerous terror attacks carried out in France and other European countries by refugees.

Barnier’s warning arrives while France is simultaneously gripped by the controversy of a letter penned by active duty military personnel warning President Macron that the country is heading towards civil war, partly as a result of mass uncontrolled immigration.

“A civil war is brewing in France and you know it perfectly well,” the military members warn, adding that the French government must take swift action to ensure “the survival of our country.”

France is home to millions of immigrants, many of them illegal aliens, who have refused to integrate into society and live in decrepit unruly ghettos on the edge of major cities where law and order is virtually non-existent and into which authorities fear to venture.

Such no go zones have also served to protect violent criminals and terrorists because police are often violently attacked by Islamist mobs when they try to make arrests.

Barnier is expected to challenge President Macron in next year’s elections, where he will also face stiff competition from populist Marine Le Pen.

Poll: Majority Of Americans Prefer Trump Border Policy To Biden Open Door

Only one third believe Biden’s border strategy is superior

Just one third of Americans believe that Joe Biden’s border strategy is superior to that of the Trump administration, according to a new poll, with the majority preferring not to have an open door immigration policy.

The Rasmussen poll found that 51 percent of voters prefer the way it was under Trump, with only 32 percent saying it is now better at the border under Biden.

The poll also bizarrely found that 11 percent believe the policies have the same efficacy.

The survey also revealed that the majority feel it is a “bad decision” to release some 15,000 Haitian migrants into the US.

As we noted earlier this week, DHS Secretary Mayorkas admitted that the migrants were simply allowed to enter the country, with many likely never to attend follow up asylum hearings.

Mayorkas declared that the flood of illegal migrants at the border, and the subsequent release of thousands of them into the U.S. is “one of our proudest traditions.”

Fox News host Chris Wallace asked why the Biden administration hasn’t erected a “wall or a fence” in response to the crisis.

Mayorkas responded “It is the policy of this administration: we do not agree with the building of the wall.”

When asked exactly how many migrants have come into the U.S. from the latest wave, Mayorkas said “I think it’s about ten thousand or so, twelve thousand,” adding “It could be even higher. The number that are returned could be even higher. What we do is we follow the law as Congress has passed it.”

Wallace also noted that almost half of the migrants are never seen again, failing to appear at asylum court hearings.

“There are more than 11 million people in this country illegally. Clearly, despite your best efforts, millions of people end up in this country and don’t – just disappear,” Wallace noted.

In addition, while thousands of undocumented migrants have been released into the country unvaccinated, Mayorkas is set to FIRE border patrol agents who do not get the shots.

    Huge Sweden Apartment Blast Likely Caused by Explosive Device, Say Authorities

    A powerful blast that ripped through an apartment block in Gothenburg was likely caused by an explosive device, raising the prospect of another gang-linked attack in multicultural Sweden.

    The explosion tore through the building in the Annedal district in central Gothenburg on Tuesday morning, starting a major fire.

    “The explosion rocked through the building just before 5am local time, damaging three stairwells,” reports RT. “Some residents used tied sheets to escape from their homes through windows, as the fire ignited by the blast spread and sent thick plumes of grey smoke in the air.”

    Authorities quickly ruled out a gas explosion as the cause of the blast, noting that there was no gas pipeline in the immediate area.

    Police spokesperson Thomas Fuxborg confirmed that the working premise is that an explosive device was deliberately planted.

    Up to 25 people sustained injuries, with four hospitalized in serious condition.

    According to Henrik Palmgren, the target of the blast could have been a police officer who was working on targeting criminal immigrant gangs in the area.

    An investigation earlier this year found that Sweden had gone from being one of the safest European countries 20 years ago in terms of gun crime to the second most dangerous, with most shootings linked to criminal migrant gangs.

    After having been ranked 18th out of 22 countries for gun crime from 2000 to 2003, Sweden now ranks in second place, behind only Croatia.

    In 2017, the global media began attacking President Donald Trump for pointing out Sweden was having big problems with migrant crime due to open borders, yet Trump has been proven right time and time again.

    In 2019, the media was forced to admit that the alarming number of grenade attacks and explosions in Sweden represented a “national emergency.”

    “Sweden has experienced a sharp rise in explosions in recent years, predominantly related to conflicts between warring criminal gangs,” reported Quillette’s Paulina Neuding. “The use of explosives in the Nordic country is now at a level that is unique in the world for a state not at war, according to police.”

    Deadly shootings in Sweden have also risen by a factor of 10 in one generation, exacerbated by witness intimidation and “a code of silence in the country’s socio-economically weak immigrant areas,” according to Neuding.

    Like the rest of Europe, Sweden has also suffered an alarming rise in gang rapes and sexual molestations since throwing its borders open to mass immigration from the Middle East and North Africa.

    When veteran Swedish police investigator Peter Springare was asked about the demographics of those responsible for violent crimes, he didn’t mince his words.

    “Here we go; this is what I’ve handled from Monday-Friday this week: rape, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, rape-assault and rape, extortion, blackmail, assault, violence against police, threats to police, drug crime, drugs, crime, felony, attempted murder, rape again, extortion again and ill-treatment,” he wrote.

    “Suspected perpetrators; Ali Mohammed, Mahmod, Mohammed, Mohammed Ali, again, again, again. Christopher… what, is it true? Yes, a Swedish name snuck in on the edges of a drug crime. Mohammed, Mahmod Ali, again and again,” he added.

    Springare then listed the suspects’ countries of origin.

    “Countries representing all the crimes this week: Iraq, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Somalia, Syria again, Somalia, unknown, unknown country, Sweden. Half of the suspects, we can’t be sure because they don’t have any valid papers. Which in itself usually means that they’re lying about their nationality and identity.”
