Members of the So Called ‘squad’ of extreme leftist Democrats spent thousands of dollars on hiring private security while simultaneously calling for defunding and even abolishing the police, a report highlights.
According to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records, Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (New York), Ilhan Omar (Minnesota), Cori Bush (Missouri) and Ayanna Pressley (Massachusetts) privately built up their own protection forces, while telling the public that they shouldn’t rely on police protection, and that police departments should be defunded because of ‘institutional racism’.
NEW: Members of the progressive-Democrat group in Congress called "the squad" who have been pushing to defund the police, spent thousands of dollars on private security for themselves, according to FEC records reviewed by the @DailyCaller.

The Daily Caller picked up on the filings, noting that the Democrats Reps. spent “nearly $70,000” on private security from January to March this year.
The records show that Ocasio-Cortez paid one company based out of Brooklyn, New York, $9,000 for 3 months of security consulting. She then also spent more than $24,000 on ‘security’ on January 25, and almost $4,000 on ‘security services’ on January 19, with a further payment of $849.22 for ‘security services’ on February 2.
According to the records, Rep. Omar spent $3,103.61 on private security, with Pressley spending $4,186.75 on “security Services,” and Cori Bush reported to have spent $30,000 on security.
@DailyCaller reached out to many of the security companies and learned that they indeed provide armed security, but couldn't comment on the nature of security provided to the congresswomen.

Bush also refused to answer questions Wednesday about the funds:
A GOP source just sent me this based on my story from last night on Rep. Cori Bush and the squad paying for private security despite calls to defund the police.

All of these Reps. have called for defunding the police:
With all due respect, Mr. President—let’s talk about losing people. We lost Michael Brown Jr. We lost Breonna Taylor. We’re losing our loved ones to police violence.
— Cori Bush (@CoriBush) December 2, 2020
It’s not a slogan. It’s a mandate for keeping our people alive. Defund the police. https://t.co/Wsxp1Y1bBi
Defunding the police isn’t radical, it’s real. https://t.co/wUcTjxqS3w
— Cori Bush (@CoriBush) January 28, 2021
“Defunding police means defunding police,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a June 30 statement, noting “It does not mean budget tricks or funny math. It does not mean moving school police officers from the NYPD budget to the Department of Education’s budget so the exact same police remain in schools.”
What if activists aren’t PR firms for politicians & their demands are bc police budgets are exploding, community resources are shrinking to bankroll it, & ppl brought this up for ages but it wasn’t until they said “defund” that comfortable people started paying attn to brutality
— Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (@AOC) December 2, 2020
Pressley, along with another squad member Rashida T’laib introduced the BREATHE Act to defund police departments last year. T’laib has rabidly called not only for defunding but ABOLISHING the police.
It wasn't an accident. Policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist.
— Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) April 12, 2021
Daunte Wright was met with aggression & violence. I am done with those who condone government funded murder.
No more policing, incarceration, and militarization. It can't be reformed.
Also last Summer, Omar said on CNN’s “State of the Union” that Minneapolis has to “rebuild” its police department as it is “rotten to the root” and impossible to reform.
We lose people in the hands of police. It’s not a slogan but a policy demand. And centering the demand for equitable investments and budgets for communities across the country gets us progress and safety. https://t.co/Vu6inw4ms7
— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) December 2, 2020
While the squad amass their own private security and call for abolishing the police, the vast majority of black Americans are diametrically opposed to such action.
As always, it’s one rule for them and another for everyone else.
So they want armed security for themselves, but for everyone else, their police get defunded and the people themselves get disarmed. Got it.
— ClimbThaMtn (@MtnTha) April 19, 2021
So they think security should be reserved for the rich. That makes sense to……..a rich person.

Last year after unrest and violence targeting police, Harvard university Professor Roland Fryer urged that defunding the police would cause more loss of life, citing figures showing that there are “450 excess homicides per year” when police are not able to do their jobs proficiently.
“Defunding the police is not a solution and could cost thousands of black lives,” professor Fryer wrote in an email to the College Fix.
Fryer has recently authored a research paper titled “Policing the Police: The Impact of “Pattern-or-Practice Investigations on Crime,” noting that police are less present when ‘viral incidents’ occur, meaning crime, including homicides increase… a lot.
Last year it was reported by the New York Times that Gun violence is up 358% in New York City since June 2019 as police are being stripped of resources in Democrat run cities nationwide.
The explosion in gun violence dovetailed with the disbanding of NYPD anti-crime units, a decision that meant around 600 plainclothes officers were taken off targeted raids and reassigned.
In addition, Democrat imposed “reforms” have meant that around 40% of people arrested on gun possession charges were released without bail in 2019.
Figures also show that other Democrat run cities including Chicago and Minneapolis have experienced a massive uptick in gun violence.
Despite the crime spike, the Minneapolis City Council unanimously passed a resolution to replace the police department with a “community-led public safety system.”

Video: Rand Paul Grills Blinken On Stonewalling Of COVID Origin Investigation
“You won’t help us investigate this.”

Senator Rand Paul grilled Secretary of State Antony Blinken Wednesday, accusing the State Department of engaging in a lack of transparency when it comes to providing documents related to the ongoing probe of the origins of COVID.
Paul asked Blinken why documents related to funding of coronavirus research have not been provided to him despite repeated requests.
The Senator told Blinken that he had requested the material “on September 12th and November 7th of last year.”
“My question is, what’s the State Department hiding?” Paul asked, adding “Why won’t you give these records to the American people?”
“There’s a difference between can and may,” Paul continued, adding “You won’t do it, but you can do it.”
Blinken responded “My understanding is that our teams have been working to find an accommodation,” adding he hopes to “find a way forward that answers your concerns so that you get the information that you’re looking for.”
“We’re talking about unclassified material,” Paul shot back, adding “most of this is unclassified. And so we just had a unanimous vote in the Senate and in the House and President Biden just signed a bill saying he’s going to declassify stuff. But if you declassify it and you still hide it from the American people, that’s a problem.”
The Senator continued, “We spend all of this time lambasting authoritarians for lack of transparency, we have these silly networks on TV that are aligned with the Democrat Party saying democracy is under attack. Well, do you think transparency has something to do with democracy? You’re refusing to give records on research, money that went for research.”
“We want to read the research grant proposals. We want to read what the people in Wuhan sent back to the State Department saying they did. Which viruses did they create?” Paul further urged.
“And yet you won’t help us investigate this. You refuse and it makes — it is reminiscent of the countries we criticize for lack of transparency. And yet you sit there and say you’re still going to continue to refuse,” Paul asserted.
Blinken tried to squirm out of the grilling by saying he doesn’t have the expertise to comment, prompting Paul to respond “We don’t want to hear your spin.”
“We can’t just accept your spin on it because people — there may be self-interested the people who funded the program. We’re just asking to look at the data. But so far it has been no. We’ve had a few phone calls, but we don’t want your spin on it. We want to look at the documents ourselves,” Paul emphasised.

Video: MSNBC Panel Says That Criticising George Soros In Any Way Is “DANGEROUS”
“It definitely feels like a dog whistle that is dangerous.”

During a discussion on the potential Trump indictment, an MSNBC panel claimed that Trump supporters, and anyone else for that matter, are “dangerous” for criticising George Soros.
Perpetual race baiting grifter Joy Reid turned to former CIA officer Tracy Walder, and said “The fact that they keep throwing George Soros’ name, we’ve talked a lot in our show meetings, is it definitely feels like a dog whistle that is dangerous.”
Walder replied, “It absolutely feels like a dog whistle that’s dangerous.”
She continued, “Look, most of these groups, the Oath Keepers, Boogaloo Boys, Proud Boys, they all subscribe to what you are all referring to as the great replacement theory.”
“This is why we see these spikes in racism and anti-semitism,” and “they are ascribing to this belief and it’s stoking this division,” Walder added.
She then suggested that “Trump has for multiple years now called for a civil war.”
There were no actual facts provided as to why criticising George Soros’ manipulation of U.S. politics and culture is racist.
Watch:
Of course, Joy Reid and MSNBC are going to propagandise for Soros, given that he pumps millions into Democrat election campaigns, as well as “black-led justice organizations”.
Is journalist Glenn Greenwald a dangerous racist for pointing out how Soros continually seeks to control the reality narrative?
All three of these billionaires — Soros, Hoffman and Omidyar — fund groups and outlets that aggressively spread disinformation. The idea that *they* are going to use their vast wealth to police the internet in the name of keeping us safe is laughable.https://t.co/vuBB5Gj4VV

Since employees of media corporations instructed their small but loyal herds to ignore the #TwitterFiles, they may not know that Bill Kristol already pulled this scam with "Hamilton68": what he claimed was a secret list of "pro-Kremlin accounts" that shaped countless headlines. pic.twitter.com/Fk9Cu8vLQQ

As I've said many times, Omidyar never once interfered in the editorial output of TI. I constantly attacked his pet causes and beliefs, and he not only never impeded it but told me I was free to continue.
— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) March 21, 2023
The problem is managers know why he funds, and they adapt to his beliefs.
The reason TI degraded into an outpost of DNC talking points and Russiagate insanity isn't because Omidyar demanded it. It's because top editors (Betsy Reed, Roger Hodge) got huge salaries and were petrified they'd lose it unless they promoted his views. That's how it works.

Videos: Biden Literally Can’t Talk Anymore
“I’m having trouble”

On Tuesday, Joe Biden attempted to string together sentences in English but completely failed again and again.
Biden attempted to announce the establishment of a new national monument, but he can’t talk:

It’s like watching someone who is learning English for the first time try to put words together:
Is Biden reading his speech (off his giant teleprompter) for the first time? pic.twitter.com/R7fM9jywPZ
— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) March 21, 2023
Later, Biden attempted to recite a poem, but he can’t talk.
He started over in a second attempt, but he can’t talk:

Biden attempted to crack a joke while giving Bruce Springsteen a medal, but he can’t talk:
Biden to Bruce Springsteen: "I just want you to know, Bruce, there's a lawsuit between the governor of Delaware and the governor of New Jersey and it's now a matter of law we owe — we own, Delaware owns the Delaware River up to the high water mark in New Jersey." pic.twitter.com/cTIKxcYDN7
— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) March 21, 2023
Biden didn’t even attempt to say Puerto Rican artist Antonio Martorell-Cardona’s full name when slurring this sentence out:

— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) March 21, 2023
It’s probably a good thing he can’t talk, because when he does manage a sentence, he comes out with something embarrassing like this:
Biden: "Any woman who I'm giving one medal to, please don't get angry with me if I mess up your hair." pic.twitter.com/75PuLnC1FR
