Yet Another ‘Asian Hate Crime’ Victim Not Attacked by a White Person

70-year-old woman savagely beaten by African-American woman on a bus in L.A.

A 70-year-old woman was savagely beaten by an African-American woman on a bus in L.A. because she ‘looked Asian’ in yet another example of how the media’s narrative on the issue has been proven spectacularly wrong.

The attack happened when the victim, a Mexican woman known as ‘Becky’ – was exiting a Metro bus on her way to a local grocery store.

The attacker yelled anti-Asian racial slurs as she beat Becky repeatedly around the head, causing the victim to suffer a concussion, a broken nose and severe bruising.

Becky’s son described the assailant as a “black girl” and noted that during the attack, no one tried to intervene. “Nobody would help, not even the bus driver,” he said.

A 23-year-old woman was subsequently arrested on felony battery charges and faces additional hate crime charges. There appeared to be no motive for the attack aside from Becky being mistaken for being Asian.

For several months, the media has been spinning a narrative that the surge in violent hate crimes targeting Asians is the fault of “white supremacy” and Donald Trump accurately stating that coronavirus came from China.

In reality, in virtually every single recent high profile case of Asian-Americans being violently attacked in public, the culprit has been black.

Crime stats also show white people are underrepresented per capita in attacks against Asians.

As the Washington Examiner highlights, citing FBI statistics, whereas whites comprise 62% of the population, they committed 24% of crimes against Asians in 2018.

In comparison, blacks, who comprise 13% of the population, committed 27.5% of all violent crimes against Asian Americans in 2018.

The media’s fake narrative on who is responsible crimes targeting Asians directly led last week to a 37-year-old Korean man trying to rape a woman at gunpoint in Lake Forest, California after he falsely believed her to be white.

According to authorities, the attack was “in retaliation for the rise in hate crimes against Asian people.”

Video: New York Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul Really Did Say It’s A “Conspiracy” That Violent Crime Is Rising

She doesn’t understand why Americans care about it

Any inconvenient fact for Democrats is now dismissed as a “conspiracy”. This was once again in evidence last week as New York Governor Kathy Hochul used the pejorative against people pointing out that there has been a rise in violent crime.

Calling Republicans ‘election deniers and data deniers,’ Hochul claimed that shootings and murders are “down fifteen percent in our state in New York City.”

Hochul charged that Republicans are “master manipulators” attempting to convince the nation that they are less safe in Democratic controlled States.

As The New York Post highlights, while murders are down by 14% in New York City over the summer compared with last year, all other major crimes surged — including a 33% rise in robberies, police statistics show.

In an earlier debate with her Republican opponent Lee Zeldin, Hochul stated that she doesn’t understand why being touch on crime is important to him, even though Americans list it as a priority:

Even MSNBC anchors are not buying it from Hochul:

Nationwide, murder rates are up, according to both FBI and CDC data.

Lets ignore that though:

These Are America’s Violent Crime Hotspots

The District of Columbia had the highest rates of violent crime in the United States in 2020, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s data.

“Residents are scared,” said Michael D. Shankle, chair of the Advisory Neighborhood Commission in the Chinatown area, after three people were shot one night last month, one fatally, in two separate incidents.

He added, “They are angry. … We feel like we don’t have enough support.”

Nearly 1,000 cases of violent crime per 100,000 people were recorded in the state.

Alaska also has a high rate of violent crime, at 838 cases per 100,000 population.

As Statista’s Anna Fleck shows in the map below, the south-eastern states of New Mexico, Arkansas, Tennessee and Louisiana also show higher figures than much of the rest of the country.

At the other end of the spectrum placed Maine (109 per 100,000), New Hampshire (146), and Vermont (173).

Finally, we note that even with some of the country’s toughest gun laws, the District is awash in firearms.

Police so far this year have seized 2,249 guns, 815 more than this time last year…

…they seem to be fighting a losing battle as the bad guys just won’t follow their rules!
