Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi told reporters Wednesday that the situation at the border has improved since Joe Biden took office and that it is now on a “good path”.

“The fact is that we’re on a good path at the border under the leadership of President Biden … we were in a very bad situation under the Trump administration,” Pelosi proclaimed:

Pelosi’s statement is nuts, by anyone’s standards.

Even the White House has admitted there is a humanitarian crisis on the border. What is good about that?

There are now over 17,000 unaccompanied migrant children in facilities that are only equipped to hold a few hundred.

The conditions are squalid, with illegals packed in together sleeping on concrete floors.

Many are suffering from diseases, including Covid.

Is that good?

The Cartels are engaged in people trafficking, and footage has emerged of babies being thrown over the border fences.

Women and children are being sexually abused as they attempt to cross the border, both by the traffickers and by other migrants.

But thank goodness Trump is out and Biden is in.

Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (R) has warned “The president and the vice president of the United States and the Democratic Party are so concerned about placating the left for open borders, children are allegedly being sexually assaulted on American soil because of their total neglect of protecting our border, protecting this country, and protecting these kids, whether they’re dropped over the fence, whether they’re sexually assaulted, whether they’re sent into the country into sex trafficking. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have this on their hands.”

Reuters reports that U.S. border authorities apprehended over 171,000 migrants in March, including 19,000 unaccompanied minors, 53,000 family units, and 99,000 single adults.

Doesn’t sound like much of a “good path”.

Hillary Clinton has declared Republicans who are against gun control legislation to be “gun worshippers”, and ridiculed them for being “scared” that their rights are being taken away.

Appearing on her own former communications director’s podcast, Clinton declared “You know, democracy is the balancing of interests and rights, and unfortunately at this time, the gun worshipers have a huge advantage because of the filibuster and because of their shameless exploitation of people’s unwarranted fears.”

We talk so much about the right to bear arms in America. @HillaryClinton wants to change the narrative.

Hillary specifically singled out Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who last week labelled Democrats’ gun control efforts in the wake of shootings in Atlanta and Colorado as “ridiculous theater”.

Clinton proclaimed that “The opportunists on the other side, like Cruz and his ilk, they know better and they are in the position of trying to keep people really riled up and scared that sensible gun legislation like we had in the ‘90s for 10 years will somehow undermine their rights.”

“Well, what about the rights of all the rest of us? The rights of us to go to work, go shopping, go on dates to the movie theater, go to school, for heaven’s sake — what about the rest of us?” she continued.

After announcing he is considering executive action, Joe Biden told reporters on Sunday he believes Congress will pass “rational gun control” measures.

“The only gun control legislation that’s ever passed is mine. It’s going to happen again,” Biden Declared.

After the press was invited to take footage of Joe Biden signing the Paycheck Protection Program extension into law, they were aggressively told to get out of the Oval Office by the president’s handlers before they could ask any questions.

Biden just sat there, with the ever lurking Kamala Harris behind him, while reporters desperately shouted questions, with Biden’s staff shouting back at them to leave the room:

After Biden’s disastrous press conference last week, and the deepening crisis at the border, his handlers are not taking any chances.

They forcefully shoo away reporters whenever they get too close to him.

After weeks of avoiding the issue and denying the press access to migrant holding facilities, the administration finally granted two reporters permission to enter the facility in Donna, Texas, where previous footage and photos was leaked from.

This must be the prettier of the facilities, given that they let the CBS and AP reporters visit it, yet it still looks like fresh hell:

At least 39 unaccompanied migrant children have been in the temporary processing facility for more than 15 DAYS, Acting Executive Officer for RGV Operational Programs Division, Oscar Escamilla, told reporters.

Over 4,100 children are being held in the facility, which only has a capacity of 250. Therefore, it is 1700 percent above capacity:
