Rand Paul: Democrat ‘Class Warfare Wealth Tax Will Destroy Our Country’

“The class warfare people need to get a grip on what happens”

Senator Rand Paul has warned that a Democrat proposed ‘wealth tax’ is fundamentally “un-American” and will kill off entrepreneurship.

Appearing on Fox Business, Paul spoke about the ‘extreme’ plan being pushed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, urging that “A wealth tax will destroy our country.”

Watch:

“It’s not good for our country,” Paul said explaining that “This class warfare, punitive stuff that some of these Democrats want – it’s un-American.

“It’s bad for business and it’s bad for everybody,” Paul continued, adding “Because capitalism uplifts all.”

The plan would see higher taxes on the “rich”, with Bloomberg News analysis concluding that the 100 richest Americans would have their income shrink by $78 billion per year.

The plan would impose a 2% annual tax on the net worth of households worth $50 million and above, as well as an additional 1% tax on holdings of $1 billion upwards.

Paul argued that “capitalism, trade and division of labor” in the US means it has a poverty level that is one of the lowest internationally.

The Senator pointed to other countries that have attempted wealth taxes, and failed.

“The class warfare people need to get a grip on what happens,” Paul declared, adding “When they take over, we become Venezuela and I don’t want that for our country either.”

CNN Uses Creepy, Dystopian “Before Times” Rhetoric to Justify Empty Shelves

“They are laying narrative groundwork to prepare you for a world of shortages, scarcity, and incompetence.”

Questions are being asked of CNN after the network used the creepy dystopian phrase “Before Times” to describe a time pre-COVID when grocery shelves weren’t empty.

The phrase appears in a report about how grocery shelves “are not going back to normal this year” as a result of labor shortages and transportation restrictions.

“If you hoped grocery stores this fall and winter would look like they did in the Before Times, with limitless options stretching out before you in the snack, drink, candy and frozen foods aisles, get ready for some disappointing news,” states the article.

Note how “Before Times” is emphasized by its seemingly otherwise unnecessary capitalization.

The dystopian language appears to be another way of socially engineering Americans to accept “the new normal,” which will include rolling lockdowns, energy crises and food shortages.

Twitter users accused the network of weaponizing language to induce fearmongering.

“They say ‘The Before Times’ like COVID is equivalent to Jesus. Absolute lunatics,” tweeted Robby Starbuck.

“Interesting way of saying that we will have food shortages in Joe Biden’s America,” remarked Harrison Krank.

Another respondent warned that CNN would use the term to distract from the Biden administration’s incompetence and blame any problems on the pandemic.

“They are laying narrative groundwork to prepare you for a world of shortages, scarcity, and incompetence,” warned another respondent, “This isn’t an accident.”

Out of stock percentages in U.S. grocery chains have risen from 7-10% before the pandemic to as high as 18% in recent days.

Tucker Carlson On Gas Panic: “Somebody Did This To Us On Purpose”

It’s a “grimmer version of the 1970s”

Tucker Carlson warned Tuesday that the disruption in the Colonial Pipeline and the resulting shortage panic is being carried out by design.

Carlson noted that the situation represents a “grimmer version of the 1970s” with many states declaring emergency shortages, and resulting price gouging as a result of, we are told, “some mysterious gang of cybercriminals [who] hacked the software at a major American fuel supplier.”

Referring to the Biden administration, Carlson declared “The same lunatics who don’t believe in Human Biology immediately made a serious mess of our economy, it took them less than six months to do it.”

Comparing the scenes to Venezuela, Carlson noted that the New York Times says this is just another “conspiracy theory”.

Watch:

“On some level, let’s be honest about it, the White House approves of this disaster,” Carlson proclaimed, adding that “the lunatics plan to close every gas station in the entire United States, shuttered forever, to make way for some new as yet not quite defined means of transportation that will magically replace the gasoline engines that we have used for more than a hundred years.”

Carlson continued “bad federal policies are distorting the price of everything in this country from two by fours to diesel fuel to corndogs.”

“None of this is an accident just as it wasn’t an accident when the power went out in Texas over the winter,” the host continued, adding “It wasn’t a cold snap that did it. It was a federal policy that encouraged the state to rely on windmills which don’t actually work.”

“It’s not a natural cycle. Somebody did this to us on purpose,” Carlson warned.
