Professor on MSNBC Suggests Gamestop Traders Are Depressed Incels

Says they should focus more on forming “romantic relationships.”

A professor of marketing appeared on MSNBC to share a demeaning take on the day traders responsible for the GameStop phenomenon – asserting that they’re mostly depressed incels who should focus on chasing women instead of stocks.

Yes, really.

Gamestop traders have rattled Wall Street over the last 2 weeks, costing hedge funds billions as they fight against the short-selling of stocks by buying and holding on to them.

At first, some media outlets tried to insist the movement was some kind of white supremacist insurgency, but after that quickly failed they appear to have moved on to other tactics.

New York University marketing professor Scott Galloway told MSNBC that the traders were overwhelmingly nihilistic young men who have become obsessed with the issue at the cost of interpersonal human relationships.

“Maybe it’s fun. Fine. Maybe it’s a movement, but be prepared to lose 80 to 90 percent of it, and if it’s still worth it, have at it,” Galloway said. “But the biggest loss of capital here will be the human capital of young men sitting and staring at their phone and watching the price of Bitcoin, or the price of AMC.”

He went on to label the traders “young men who are more prone to gambling addiction, who don’t understand the markets” and who would spend their time better by “working out” and “forming romantic relationships.”

“I think we are setting ourselves up similar to how there’s a ton of young women out there who became very depressed by sitting this their rooms, looking at Instagram, self-cutting and self-harm skyrocket. I think you’re going to see an explosion in young male depression, and I think a lot of it is going to be reverse engineered to apps that convince you you’re part of a movement or physically addict you to your phone,” said the professor.

Apparently, Galloway’s perception of Internet users hasn’t been updated since the days of mid-90’s dial-up and AOL chat rooms.

His characterization of traders as isolated, atomized nihilists also doesn’t correlate with posts on the WallStreetBets forum which explain how many of the traders have been able to help out their families with expensive medical bills thanks to GameStop trades.

Donald Glover: TV & Films Are Boring Because “People are Afraid of Getting Cancelled”

Actor and musician slams artistic chilling effect of fear.

Actor and Grammy Award winning musician Donald Glover says that television shows and movies are becoming increasingly boring because “people are afraid of getting cancelled.”

Glover, also known by his stage name Childish Gambino, made the comments via his official Twitter account.

“Saw people on here havin a discussion about how tired they were of reviewing boring stuff (tv & film),” remarked Glover.

“We’re getting boring stuff and not even experimental mistakes(?) because people are afraid of getting cancelled.”

“So they feel like they can only experiment w/ aesthetic. (also because some of em know theyre not that good).”

Apologists immediately reacted to the remarks by claiming Glover was referring to the cancellation of TV shows and not “cancel culture” itself, although the comments clearly indicate Glover was referring to cancel culture.

The left has attempted to continue to maintain the doublethink of claiming that cancel culture “doesn’t exist,” despite having weaponized it to routinely cancel “problematic” actors and musicians who dare to dissent from ‘woke’ cult dogma.

As we previously highlighted, The Who legend Roger Daltrey made similar comments to Glover last week when he said the woke generation was making everything miserable, including themselves.

“It’s terrifying, the miserable world they’re going to create for themselves. I mean, anyone who’s lived a life and you see what they’re doing, you just know that it’s a route to nowhere,” said Daltrey.

Roger Daltrey: The ‘Woke’ Generation is Creating a Miserable World

“It’s terrifying.”

The Who legend Roger Daltrey says the ‘woke’ generation is creating a miserable world that serves to stifle the kind of creative freedom he enjoyed in the 60s.

The iconic frontman made the comments during a recent appearance on Zane Lowe’s Apple Music 1 podcast.

“I don’t know, we might get somewhere because it’s becoming so absurd now with AI, all the tricks it can do, and the woke generation,” said Daltrey.

“It’s terrifying, the miserable world they’re going to create for themselves. I mean, anyone who’s lived a life and you see what they’re doing, you just know that it’s a route to nowhere,” he added.

The singer noted how he was lucky to have lived through an era where freedom of speech was encouraged, not silenced.

“Especially when you’ve lived through the periods of a life that we’ve had the privilege to. I mean, we’ve had the golden era. There’s no doubt about that,” he said.

Daltrey also slammed the negative impact that social media has had on the world, saying it has undermined truth.

“It’s just getting harder to disseminate the truth. It’s almost like, now we should turn the whole thing off. Go back to newsprint, go back to word of mouth and start to read books again,” he said.

While Daltrey’s comments may not be mind-blowing, any celebrity speaking out against the mob that has cannibalized culture is something to be applauded.

Once again, this only tends to happen with older celebrities who have already passed their peak of fame and entered icon status. They are beyond cancellation.

For any up and coming celebrity, or even one who is at the top of their game, to question ‘generation woke’ is career suicide.

Which makes it all the more ludicrous to continue to see identitarians, notably the LGBT movement, continue to claim they are ‘fighting oppression’ when their mantras are echoed by every cultural institution, media outlet and corporate entity in the west, while anyone who utters a whimper of dissent is swiftly cancelled.

“What Are the Symptoms of Chlamydia” Most Googled Sex Question as STDs Soar

Searches asking about STD testing quadruple.

As STD rates soar in America, new data has revealed that the most popular sex question over the last year was, “What are the symptoms of chlamydia?”

Disgusting.

Research by health clinic From Mars finds that the search term racked up more than 2 million hits in 2020 while searches for “STD testing near me” also quadrupled between April 2020 and the end of the year.

“Search queries are an X-ray into the public psyche, and when it comes to sex and relationships, we may have some issues,” reports Axios.

As we highlighted last week, the search data correlates with the continuing rise of STD cases in America.

Sexually transmitted diseases hit a record high for the sixth straight year, with CDC researchers finding a 30 per cent increase in STDs from 2015 to 2019.

According to the latest data, 2.5 million Americans had either chlamydia, gonorrhea or syphilis infections in 2019, with chlamydia cases rising 61 per cent and gonorrhea cases spiking 42 per cent among young people aged 15 to 24.

Meanwhile, early data on searches for 2021 indicates that more relationships are breaking down, with queries for “What is ghosting?” having doubled between November 2020 and February this year.

Maybe all that promiscuous, STD riddled, sexual degeneracy has got something to do with it.
