UK COVID Cops Threaten £200 Fines For People Having Snowball Fights

“Don’t be tempted.”

Police in the UK enforcing coronavirus lockdown restrictions are threatening people with £200 fines if they engage in snowball fights or sledging.

Yes, really.

Snow fell in many parts of the country over the weekend, providing a welcome distraction to the fact that the country has been under some form of lockdown for the best part of 10 months.

However, this prompted authorities to become even more draconian, urging people not to engage in snowball fights or sledging or face the risk of being fined.

“Forces in London, Surrey and Wiltshire sent out warnings urging Brits not to break lockdown while enjoying the snow, saying “Covid regulations still apply,” reports the Mirror.

“We are currently receiving lots of calls and reports relating to snowballs being thrown and people outside sledging,” tweeted Surrey Police. “Please stay safe and remember that Covid regulations do still apply.”

Wiltshire Police inspector Louis McCoy was more insistent, tweeting, “I don’t want to be dealing with sledgers and snowball fights. There’s still a lockdown on. Think about it, don’t be tempted.”

Swindon Police posted a message to Facebook announcing that they were keeping tabs on snowball fights.

“We are currently responding to reports of about 150 children and about 50 adults gathering in the Sevenfields area of Swindon and concerns have been raised that they are not abiding by the coronavirus guidelines,” said the force.

“Please do not gather in large groups – you are reminded that Fixed Penalty Notices may be issued to those who do not abide by the regulations.”

“We are in the midst of a pandemic and failing to socially distance and wear face masks could aid the spread of the virus.”

Meanwhile, Kingston Police urged people not to go out and enjoy the snow at all, tweeting that they should only look at it “from the comfort of your own home” as “there’s a pandemic going on.”

Four men traveling in a car in Guildford were also hit with £200 fines each after they told police they were “looking at the snow.”

As we previously highlighted, engaging with snow is seen by authorities as a dangerous contravention of lockdown rules.

West Mercia Police attracted ridicule when the force angrily tweeted about “2 reports of snowballs being thrown” in violation of coronavirus lockdown rules.

A large snowball fight in a park in Leeds also attracted media condemnation despite students involved claiming they were just trying to blow off some steam to combat mental health problems caused by lockdown.

Avon and Somerset Police also fined someone for eating a kebab in their car alone while Derbyshire Police interrogated two women for drinking coffee while on a rural walk.

The UK remains under total lockdown with powers recently extended until July, meaning the country could still be under such restrictions until the summer.

A story in the Express claimed that a father furiously blamed “anti-vaxxers” for his daughter dying from COVID, despite the fact that the woman died in March 2020, before COVID-19 vaccines were available.

Poll Finds Only 10% of Americans Trust Media on COVID, 30% Trust Fauci

Only 15.5% trust Biden.

A new poll has found that just 10 per cent of Americans trust the media when it comes to information about COVID-19, while just over 30 per cent trust Anthony Fauci.

Wow.

The survey was conducted by NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ.

It asked participants, “When it comes to information about COVID-19, which of the following sources would you say you trust? Select all that apply.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci: 30.8%
Federal health authorities like the CDC and the FDA: 49.8%
Your doctor: 63.2%
President Biden: 15.5%
The news media: 10.2%

Put it another way, almost 90 per cent of Americans don’t trust the media when it comes to COVID and fewer than one in five trust Joe Biden.

No wonder Biden is begging social media companies to engage in even more censorship of information relating to COVID-19.

The numbers are even more staggering when one considers the fact that 73.9 per cent of respondents are vaccinated.

The poll also found that 51.8 per cent of Americans think the pandemic will “never” be over, compared to 30 per cent who think it will be over in a year.

The poll has a margin of error of 5.8 per cent.

With Biden’s approval rating having sunk to a new record low, the regime really has been taking a lot of L’s recently.

British Government Used “Propagandistic” Fear Tactics to Scare Public Into Mass Compliance

Behavioral scientist who co-founded Downing Street nudge unit speaks out.

The British government used “propagandistic” fear tactics to scare the public into mass compliance during the first COVID lockdown, according to a behavioral scientist who worked inside Downing Street.

Simon Ruda co-founded Number 10’s ‘Nudge Unit’, which was initially set up to encourage positive behavioral changes in the British public without the need for coercion or legislation, but was weaponized during the pandemic to create scaremongering.

“In my mind, the most egregious and far-reaching mistake made in responding to the pandemic has been the level of fear willingly conveyed on the public,” wrote Ruda.

“That fear seems to have subsequently driven policy decisions in a worrying feed-back loop,” he added, noting that such actions amounted to “state sanctioned propaganda.”

The behavioral scientist said that an obsession with daily case numbers came to dominate thinking, serving to spread even more fear.

That process included grossly exaggerating the threat posed by COVID and producing lurid, alarmist propaganda to frighten the population into subservience.

As we previously highlighted, scientists in the UK working as advisors for the government admitted using what they now concede to be “unethical” and “totalitarian” methods of instilling fear in the population in order to control behavior during the pandemic.

The London Telegraph reported the comments made by Members of the Scientific Pandemic Influenza Group on Behaviour (SPI-B), a sub-committee of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) the government’s chief scientific advisory group.

The report quotes a briefing from March 2020, as the first lockdown was decreed, that stated the government should drastically increase “the perceived level of personal threat” that the virus poses because “a substantial number of people still do not feel sufficiently personally threatened.”

One scientist with the SPI-B admits that, “In March [2020] the Government was very worried about compliance and they thought people wouldn’t want to be locked down. There were discussions about fear being needed to encourage compliance, and decisions were made about how to ramp up the fear.”

The unnamed scientist added that, “The way we have used fear is dystopian.”

The scientist further confessed that, “The use of fear has definitely been ethically questionable. It’s been like a weird experiment. Ultimately, it backfired because people became too scared.”

The fearmongering campaign clearly worked.

By the summer of 2020, the average Brit thought 6-7% of the population of the UK had died from coronavirus, a figure equating to around 4.5 million people.

At the time, COVID-19 had actually claimed around 40,000 lives.

But don’t worry, all this is of no importance whatsoever, because ‘fact checkers’ have ruled that ‘mass formation psychosis’ isn’t a thing that happened at all during the pandemic.
