Spain And Greece To Implement ‘Vaccination Passports’ To Re-Start Tourism

Country urges EU to adopt “a common framework” for vaccination passports

Spain and Greece are to follow the example set by the Seychelles and implement a ‘vaccine passport’ system to allow those who have taken the COVID shot to enter the countries for holidays.

Greece has been lobbying the EU to introduce a bloc-wide standardised COVID passport, while Spain has announced that it fully supports the idea.

Speaking at at the meeting of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), Spanish Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto described the move as “a sign of multilateral commitment,” adding “It could contribute to restoring mobility at European level.”

Maroto urged that while Spain will work toward “transforming and digitalising” its tourism industry, “a common framework” across the EU must be developed to allow tourists to “avoid indiscriminate measures, such as quarantines or travel restrictions.”

The request is set to be debated by the European Commission in the coming days.

“Reaching immunity is a key milestone to generate confidence to travel,” Maroto added, even though taking the vaccine has not been shown to provide immunity.

Spain’s tourism industry is one of the biggest of any country on the planet, so it comes as little surprise that it intends to adopt any means necessary to encourage tourists back as soon as possible.

COVID lockdown rulebreakers in Germany will be arrested and detained in refugee camps located across the country, it has been revealed.

Vaccine passports have previously been touted by the EU, with officials suggesting back in April that visa applicants would also be required to be vaccinated.

EU countries including SpainEstoniaIceland, Denmark, Poland, and Belgium have all indicated that they are open to some form of vaccine passports, as well as sharing the data across borders.

A slew of other countries have now indicated that they will introduce vaccination passports, despite concerns that it will create a two-tear society of those who have and have not been vaccinated.

Video: White House Finally Admits Cubans Rising Up Against ‘Failed Communism’

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki finally admitted Thursday, at the third or fourth time of asking, that the people of Cuba are rising up against a failed communist system of government, rather than a rise in COVID cases.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked Psaki, “Now that you’ve had a few days to think about it, does this White House still think that the protests in Cuba are happening because people are upset about a rise in COVID cases there, or is there some thought maybe given to the possibility that they’re protesting because they’re sick of communism?”

Psaki responded “Well, Peter, first I would say communism is a failed ideology, and we certainly believe that.”

She continued, “It has failed the people of Cuba. They deserve freedom; they deserve a government that supports them, whether that is making sure they have health and medical supplies, access to vaccines, or whether they have economic opportunity and prosperity.”

Psaki added, “And, instead, this has been a government, an authoritarian communist regime that has repressed its people, and has failed the people of Cuba, and hence, we’re seeing them in the streets.”

Watch:

Psaki spent the entire week avoiding criticising the communist Cuban tyranny, instead claiming that “government mismanagement” was to blame for the people rising up.

Many in the streets have been witnessed waving the American flag and asking for U.S. support to help them be free of the Marxist oppression.

As we noted, Senator Marco Rubio, among others, called for a clear denunciation of “this communist, this Marxist, this socialist tyranny” in Cuba, saying that America must make “clear about whose side we’re on.”

The Biden administration and the media, however, continued to blame Donald Trump for the collapse of Cuba’s economy, in lockstep with the communist Cuban oppressors, and even groups such as Black Lives Matter, which issued a statement blaming the U.S. for the crimes of the Marxist regime in Cuba.

Video: White House Refuses To Condemn Communist Cuban Tyranny – Instead Says It’s “Mismanagement”

Says that Biden has no comment “at this time”

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked Wednesday if the Cuban people are rising up against communism, but avoided the question by describing the oppression in the country as “government mismanagement”.

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy also asked Psaki why legitimate asylum seekers from the communist regime have been told by Biden’s DHS that they are not welcome in the U.S.

Watch:

After failing to provide a sufficient response to Doocy’s first questions, Psaki then said she’s “not sure what the question is,” despite it being blatantly clear that Doocy was asking if Cubans are fleeing the country to escape communism.

Could it be any clearer? Or is she simply refusing to denounce a communist tyranny?

Economic collapse, systemic oppression and mass uprisings go somewhat beyond ‘mismanagement’.

Furthermore, when asked whether Biden will speak about the anti-communist uprising in Cuba, Psaki replied “not at this time.”

As we noted yesterday, Senator Marco Rubio, among others, called for a clear denunciation of “this communist, this Marxist, this socialist tyranny” in Cuba, saying that America must make “clear about whose side we’re on.”

The Biden administration and the media, however, continue to blame Donald Trump for the collapse of Cuba’s economy, in lockstep with the communist Cuban oppressors.

Video: Rubio Demands U.S. Government “Call It For What It Is” In Cuba – A ‘Communist, Marxist, Socialist Tyranny’

Senator demands American make “clear about whose side we’re on.”

After attempts by the Biden administration and the establishment media to downplay the anti-communist uprising in Cuba as anything but that, Senator Marco Rubio made an impassioned speech demanding that the government “call it for what it is.”

“We should be clear in our language,” Rubio said during a speech on the Senate floor, adding “We don’t just condemn this tyranny. We condemn this communist, this Marxist, this socialist tyranny.”

Rubio demanded that America make “clear about whose side we’re on.”

“The first lesson we need to take away from it is that Marxism, socialism, doesn’t work,” Rubio continued, adding “The way socialism, the way Marxism has always worked, the way it’s always empowered itself, is it goes to the people and immediately divides them. It says there is an oppressor class and that there is this victim class and these evil oppressors, capitalists, in the case of socialism or traditional Marxism, they oppress the victims.”

Rubio, who is of Cuban descent, noted that the so called “opening” of Cuba under the Obama administration ignores that fact that a socialist regime still reigns with an iron fist over the people.

“They will use any opening as a tool — as a weapon — against their people, because that’s what socialism does,” Rubio urged, adding “That’s what these Marxists do in Cuba. They will use anything as a weapon against the people of Cuba.”

“You can open up all you want. We can pass a bill here that says, ‘Open to Cuba. A hundred percent open.’ Full free trade, you can do whatever you want. At the end of the day, the Cuban regime will control that opening. It’s not just what we want to do, it’s what they want to do,” the Senator further explained.

He went on to note that tourism, financial, medical and agricultural agreements have been tightly controlled by the communist Cuban military with the general Cuban population seeing little benefit from them “because socialism is about control.”

Rubio also took to Twitter Tuesday, and pointed out the hypocrisy of the platform banning US politicians, including Trump, while allowing ‘Marxist Socialist dictators to incite violence’:

The likes of CBS News have even suggested that Trump’s actions during his time as president, rather than socialism in the country, led to the collapse of the Cuban economy:

Footage out of the country has shown anti-communist protesters waving the U.S. flag in the streets:
