CNN Host Compares Trump’s Presidency To Nazi Purge Of Jews

Deranged host shows footage of Nazi’s burning books and rounding up Jews; Proclaims Biden has pledged a ‘return to norms’

CNN’s anti-Trump derangement propaganda reached new heights Thursday, with a segment in which Chief International Anchor Christiane Amanpour directly compared the President’s first term with an infamous Nazi crackdown operation.

Amanpour announced that she was remembering Kristallnacht (“Night of Broken Glass”) a 1938 Nazi effort to purge the Fascist German nation of Jewish culture.

“This week, 82 years ago, Kristallnacht happened; it was the Nazis’ warning shot across the bow of our human civilization that led to genocide against a whole identity,” Amanpour declared, before stating that Trump’s presidency is the modern day equivalent.

During the Kristallnacht, Nazis destroyed hundreds of synagogues, burned and desecrated Jewish religious artifacts, ransacked thousands of Jewish businesses, homes, and schools, and rounded up thousands of Jews to be sent to death camps.

The event was essentially the beginning of the holocaust.

While showing footage of Nazis burning books, Amanpour proclaimed “that tower of burning books, it led to an attack on fact, knowledge, history and truth… After four years of a modern-day assault on those same values by Donald Trump, the Biden/Harris team pledges a return to norms, including the truth.”

Watch:

Amanpour is the same CNN host who last year suggested that the FBI could arrest anyone chasing ‘lock her up’ at a Trump rally, and charge them with ‘hate speech’.

Earlier this year, Amanpour also gave a platform to an Iranian government official who once said that she wouldn’t hesitate to shoot American hostages in the head.

The host’s appalling comparison of Trump’s tenure to Nazi Germany elicited widespread backlash, but it isn’t out of character for Trump’s political opponents, including Joe Biden, who have spent the past year and more making similar comparisons.

Mexican President Says Trump Arrest is About Keeping Him Off the Ballot

Slams Biden administration for hypocrisy over Julian Assange and attack on Nord Stream pipelines.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador slammed the Biden administration for accusing him of corruption while abusing the justice system in America to engage in a political witch hunt against Donald Trump “so that he doesn’t appear on the ballot”.

AMLO made the comments in response to a U.S. government report that accused his an administration of “human rights violations,” a charge which he asserts is a tissue of “lies”.

Over the weekend, Trump said he expects to be arrested in connection with a potential indictment for ‘hush money’ payments made to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election.

“Right now, former President Trump is declaring that they are going to arrest him,” said AMLO, adding, “If that were the case…it would be so that his name doesn’t appear on the ballot.”

Obrador said he sympathized with Trump because he too had been targeted with “the fabrication of a crime, when they didn’t want me to run.”

“And this is completely anti-democratic… Why not allow the people to decide?” said AMLO.

The president also shot down claims that he was responsible for the mistreatment of journalists by pointing to America’s treatment of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, adding that the report criticizing his administration, “should not be taken seriously.”

“Let’s see, human rights? Why don’t you release Assange?” he asked. “If you are talking about journalism and freedom, why are you holding Assange?”

Obrador also said the U.S. had no right to browbeat him about violence given their alleged role in blowing up the Nord Stream oil pipelines.

“If you talk about acts of violence, how is it that an award-winning United States journalist tells us that the United States government sabotaged the Russian-European gas pipeline?” the president stated.

“Why is a cartel, or several cartels, allowed to operate in the United States, freely distributing the fentanyl that does so much harm to young people in that country?” he asked.

AMLO said the U.S. should stop trying to “be the government of the world” when their own behavior is rife with inconsistencies.

Last night, a letter written by Michael Cohen’s attorney said that Cohen acted alone when paying off Stormy Daniels in 2016, with the case against Trump looking increasingly flimsy and more likely to collapse altogether.

“Totally Exculpatory”: Purported Cohen Letter To FEC Could Hobble Manhattan DA’s Trump Case

A letter purported to be from Michael Cohen’s attorney says that Cohen acted alone when he paid Stormy Daniels in 2016 – a revelation which could undercut Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s case against Donald Trump.

“In a private transaction in 2016, before the U.S. presidential election, Mr. Cohen used his own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford [Stormy Daniels],” reads the 2018 letter from Cohen attorney Stephen Ryan to the Federal Election Commission, which asserts that Trump was not involved in the hush payment to the former porn star.

“Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed Mr. Cohen for the payment directly or indirectly.”

Trump posted the letter on Truth Social on Wednesday evening, saying “Wow, look what was just found—A Letter from Cohen’s Lawyer to the Federal Election Commission,” adding “This is totally exculpatory, and must end the Manhattan District Attorney’s Witch Hunt, immediately.

Cohen admits that he did it himself. The D.A. should get on with prosecuting violent criminals, so people can walk down the sidewalks of New York without being murdered!”

As Just the News notes,

If authentic, the document could indeed be exculpatory for Trump. A potential charge legal experts have floated hinges on Trump falsifying his business records to hide a potential campaign finance violation.

Trump’s alleged falsification stems from his listing of a payment to Cohen as a legal fee, which some have suggested was a reimbursement for Cohen’s payment to Daniels. Trump’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, denies the record’s inaccuracy and has contended that “[t]he payments were made to a lawyer, not to Stormy Daniels. The payments were made to Donald Trump’s lawyer, which would be considered legal fees.”

Trump Surges Into 14 Point Lead Over DeSantis

Potential arrest only appears to be making him more popular.

Suggesting that the potential arrest of Donald Trump is actually making him more popular, a new poll shows Trump surging to a 14 point lead over Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The Monmouth University poll was partly conducted after Trump announced he expects to be arrested this week in connection with an investigation that many have derided as another political witch hunt.

41 per cent of voters want to see Trump as the Republican nominee, compared to 27 per cent who would vote for DeSantis.

This 14 point lead represents a dramatic rise from a Monmouth poll released on February 9 which showed Trump and DeSantis were tied at 33 per cent.

In a hypothetical direct head to head match up, Trump now leads DeSantis by 47 per cent to 46 per cent, a 14 point swing from seven weeks ago when DeSantis led 53 per cent to 40 per cent.

“Trump and DeSantis are grabbing most of the media attention, so it is not surprising that most Republican voters do not come up with any names other than these two,” said Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute.

DeSantis has faced criticism for failing to back Trump enthusiastically enough as the former president faces a likely indictment for ‘hush money’ payments to Stormy Daniels on trumped up charges.

The Florida Governor did find time to slam New York County District Attorney Alvin Bragg , commenting, “But what I can speak to is that if you have a prosecutor who is ignoring crimes happening every single day in his jurisdiction, and he chooses to go back many, many years ago, to try to use something about porn star hush money payment.”

However, DeSantis added that he had “real issues” to attend to, causing consternation amongst many Republicans, who see the witch hunt against Trump as a dangerous abuse of the justice system.

As Zero Hedge reports, steel barricades have been erected around the Manhattan Criminal Court after Trump told his supporters to protest, with 700 riot cops also mobilized as authorities invoke January 6 to ramp up fear.
