Students Threatened With Police Action For Displaying Anti-Lockdown Signs in Windows

Students at Manchester Metropolitan University were threatened with police action if they didn’t remove signs complaining about draconian lockdown restrictions that were placed in windows at their halls of residence.

Students across the city have been placed under a new 2 week lockdown, meaning they are under de facto house arrest, cannot leave their homes and are forced to rely on food deliveries.

Some reacted to the restrictions by placing signs in their windows that said, “”Help us!” and “HMP MMU,” a reference to Her Majesty’s Prison.

“Mental health comes first – let us out,” another sign said.

In response to the signs, the university said it had been contacted by police, who would remove the signs if they were deemed to be in violation of the law.

Students described how the lockdown was being enforced by security guards posted at gates literally preventing people from leaving.

“There was a security guard that then just arrived at the gate of our accommodation and he wasn’t letting anybody leave, not really explaining what was going on,” said Dominic Waddell.

“A police van turned up and there were police outside the gate, quite a lot of them just walking around looking at everyone, especially because we didn’t know what was going on,” said Megan Tingey, adding that the situation was, “scary and confusing.”

As we highlighted last week, students at universities across the country have complained about being treated like prisoners, with attendees of Edinburgh University being forced to eat alone at exam-style desks as monitors patrol rooms making sure they don’t leave their tables.

Students at some universities are even being told that they won’t be able to leave at Christmas to see their families.

Security guards are also patrolling corridors at halls of residences listening for music and knocking on doors to make sure people aren’t having parties.

Despite coronavirus deaths and hospitalizations having virtually flatlined, huge areas of the UK have been placed under a second lockdown, with all pubs and restaurants being forced to close at 10pm and even singing and dancing being banned.

As we highlighted last week, COVID enforcer marshals are also roaming the streets peering into people’s letterboxes and windows to check if illegal gatherings are taking place.

Video: Fauci Says ‘People Who Don’t Like Me Are Conspiracy Theorists, Deny Reality’

“Sometimes, the truth becomes inconvenient for some people. So they react against me. That just is what it is.”

In an incredibly telling declaration Sunday, Anthony Fauci announced that anyone who doesn’t like him or what he says is ‘denying reality’ and spreading ‘conspiracy theories’.

Fox News anchor Chris Wallace told Fauci that he has become “a polarizing figure,” and that “critics accuse you of sending mixed messages.”

Wallace continued, “There’s allegations that you helped fund dangerous research at the Wuhan lab,” before asking “why do you think you’ve become so controversial? And honestly, do you think there’s anything you have done that has contributed to that?”

Fauci replied “I can’t think of anything, but I’m sure some people will.”

He continued, “I have always stood for making science, data, and evidence be what we guide ourselves by. And I think people who feel differently, who have conspiracy theories, who deny reality, looking them straight in the eye, those are people that don’t particularly care for me.”

“That’s understandable,” Fauci further proclaimed, adding “Because what I do — and I try very hard — is to be guided by the truth.”

“And sometimes, the truth becomes inconvenient for some people. So they react against me. That just is what it is. There’s not much I can do about that,” Fauci added.

Watch:

One wonders what kind of ‘truth’ Fauci was guided by when he continually lied about funding gain of function research.

Elsewhere during the interview Fauci again warned that unvaccinated Americans will be the cause of the next ‘wave’ of Coronavirus. Apparently it’s the fifth wave now.

“The problem is as we all know, we still have approximately 66 million people who are eligible to get vaccinated who are not vaccinated,” Fauci said.

In a further interview with ABC, Fauci suggested that only vaccinated people should gather with other vaccinated family members for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Report: While Boris Ruined Christmas For Everyone Else, He Broke Lockdown Rules

Groundhog Day as yet another example of leaders violating their own mandates emerges.

Yet another example of leaders flagrantly violating their own lockdown rules has emerged again after it was alleged that Carrie and Boris Johnson spent Christmas with political campaigner Nimco Ali.

Ali reportedly spent the festive period with the couple in direct violation of the rules that Johnson’s government imposed on the rest of the country.

Ensuring families were separated at Christmas, the south-east of England was placed under the most extreme lockdown measures, meaning people could only legally see one other person outdoors, with mixing indoors banned.

Elsewhere, people were only allowed to see family members on Christmas Day.

However, Boris and his wife apparently violated these rules by allowing Ali to visit and stay at 10 Downing Street.

According to an article written by executive editor of the Spectator Lara Prendergast, Ali “spent Christmas with the couple at No10 despite pandemic restrictions on holiday gatherings.”

Both Johnson and Carrie denied they had broken COVID lockdown rules, but refuse to address whether or not Ali had visited their residence. Ali herself also denied the allegations.

If proven true, this adds to the multitudes of examples of people who were instrumental in placing Brits under draconian lockdown rules yet totally ignored them when it came to their own behavior.

Earlier this year, leaked photos revealed Health Secretary Matt Hancock passionately kissing his mistress at a time when Brits were being told they shouldn’t even shake hands.

“Health Secretary Matt Hancock has been having a secret affair with his closest aide,” reports the Sun. “He cheated on his wife with Gina Coladangelo, 43, who he hired last year with taxpayers’ money, as Covid gripped Britain.”

Professor Neil Ferguson, whose contentious models and alarmist predictions formed the justification for the first lockdown also repeatedly violated it.

Ferguson continually flouted the rules in order to have sex with 38-year-old married mother of two Antonia Staats, who traveled across London to visit Ferguson on several occasions.

    Keep complying, idiots.
