Sweden Close To Victory Over Coronavirus; Never Had A Lockdown Or Mask Mandate

“Sweden has gone from being the country with the most infections in Europe to the safest one.”

As the rest of Europe and the world remains under the grip of draconian rules and the threat of new lockdowns, Sweden, which allowed its citizens to remain free throughout the entire pandemic, has pretty much declared victory over the coronavirus.

The country now has one of the lowest infection rates on the planet, and it’s difficult not to admire how it has handled the past year, with no strict lockdown or compulsory face mask rules. All businesses, schools and public places remained open in Sweden for the duration.

“Sweden has gone from being the country with the most infections in Europe to the safest one,” Sweden’s senior epidemiologist Dr. Anders Tegnell commented to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

“What we see now is that the sustainable policy might be slower in getting results, but it will get results eventually,” Tegnell clarified.

“And then we also hope that the result will be more stable,” he added.

Tegnell previously warned that encouraging people to wear face masks is “very dangerous” because it gives a false sense of security but does not effectively stem the spread of the virus.

“The findings that have been produced through face masks are astonishingly weak, even though so many people around the world wear them,” Tengell has urged.

Last week, the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control confirmed Sweden’s drop in infection rate, with only 12 cases per million, compared to 18 in neighbouring Denmark and 14 in nearby Norway.

At the peak of the Sweden’s outbreak, it was seeing 108 new infections per million people, as it pursued a “herd immunity” strategy.

The figures also show that out of 2500 randomly selected and tested people in Sweden, none tested positive, compared to 0.9 percent positive in April, and 0.3 percent in May.

“We interpret this as meaning there is not currently a widespread infection among people who do not have symptoms,” said Karin Tegmark, deputy head of the Public Health Agency of Sweden.

When compared to the rest of Europe, Sweden’s death rate sits somewhere in the middle. However, officials are confident that playing the long game will see this improve drastically.

9-Year-Old Disabled Boy Forced to Take Exam Outside in Freezing Weather Because He Didn’t Wear a Mask

Austrian student punished despite having an exemption.

A 9-year-old disabled boy in Austria was forced to take an exam outside in freezing cold weather as punishment for not wearing a mask.

An investigation is now underway as to ascertain why the student in Voitsberg was treated in such a manner despite having a valid mask exemption.

A photo shows the boy, Jason, sat outside up against the window of the classroom in temperatures of -1 Celsius.

The boy’s parents have hired a lawyer and are now considering moving their son to a different school.

Markus Leinfellner of the Freedom Party of Austria described the incident as an “odd class scandal” after he brought the case to the attention of the Austrian Ministry of Education.

Children are routinely forced to sit outside in freezing cold weather as a result of inhumane COVID-19 rules.

We previously highlighted a case at Waynewood Elementary School close to Alexandria where kids were photographed sitting outside in snow in what officials called a “mask and snack break.”

Last month, kindergarten students in Portland, Oregon were forced to sit outside eating lunch on buckets in the near-freezing cold while socially distanced from their classmates.

Last year, Forbes deleted an article written by an education expert who asserted that forcing schoolchildren to wear face masks was causing psychological trauma.

“Children in masks are also likely to miss out on critical language development, another fundamental area of growth in early years where children from low-income backgrounds already have disproportionate disadvantages,” wrote Zak Ringelstein, who has a a PhD in education from Columbia University.

A study by researchers at Brown University found that mean IQ scores of young children born during the pandemic have tumbled by as much as 22 points while verbal, motor and cognitive performance have all suffered as a result of lockdown and mask rules.

Celebrity Chef Puts Sign Above Pub: “Unvaccinated Welcome”

Antony Worrall Thompson called “anti-vaxxer” for refusing to discriminate.

British celebrity chef Antony Worrall Thompson has put a sign above his pub the Greyhound in Oxfordshire making clear that “unvaccinated” people are welcome.

After he put the sign up, which says, “We do not discriminate. Race, gender, age, disability, vaccinated or unvaccinated. Everyone equal here. Everyone welcome,” the TV chef received negative press coverage because the sign was reportedly “made by an anti-vaccination group.”

“I’m doing it [having the sign up] because I don’t want to discriminate against anyone,” Worrall Thompson told the BBC.

“At the end of the day we’ve done our time, we’ve done two years of this, lockdowns and various things and precautions, and I think it’s time to move on,” he added.

The famous chef noted that he was not an “anti-vaxxer,” but merely believed in medical freedom.

“If you don’t want to put chemicals into your body, it has to be your choice,” said the TV presenter.

Dr Rachel Ward of Woodlands Medical Centre in Didcot suggested the sign should be removed because it encourages people not to get vaccinated, despite the message simply expressing that everyone is welcome regardless of vaccination status.

Indeed, the mere fact that the sign would be mildly controversial and prompt national news coverage is incredibly pedantic.

Although England briefly introduced vaccine passports to enter nightclubs and other venues over the Christmas period, the rules are expected to be scrapped within the next week.

However, according to reports, some mask mandates might remain despite the government providing absolutely no evidence that they work in reducing the spread of the virus.

Rand Paul Wonders If YouTube Will “Kiss My… And Apologise” After CDC Admits Cloth Masks Aren’t Effective

Senator asks if “snot-nosed censors” will apologise to him

The CDC has revised its guidelines on masks, admitting that cloth masks do virtually nothing to stop the spread of COVID. The move prompted Senator Rand Paul to comment, reminding social media users that YouTube previously suspended him for saying the same thing.

The CDC announced that “loosely woven cloth products provide the least protection.”

Who would have known?

That’s only been common knowledge since the vey beginning of the pandemic.

“Does this mean snot-nosed censors at YouTube will come to my office and kiss my … and admit I was right?” Paul tweeted.

A video Paul posted last year in which he dismissed cloth masks as an effective method of preventing the spread of COIVID landed him a YouTube suspension, with the company claiming the content violated its policy on COVID-19 misinformation.

YouTube said that it was misinformation to suggest “that wearing a mask is dangerous or causes negative physical health effects’ or that masks don’t play a role in preventing the contraction or transmission of COVID-19.”

While the CDC is finally admitting cloth masks are useless, it’s not part of a move away from masks. Instead, it’s intended to promote the use of stronger K95 masks that many find even more inhibiting.

The CDC notes that “well-fitting disposable surgical masks and KN95s” provide more protection against the virus, and is now urging Americans to “wear the most protective mask that you can that fits well and that you will wear consistently.”

Two months ago, The New York Times published an article citing “experts” who say mask wearing is now “normalized” and could remain in place permanently even when the pandemic ends.

Governments have been accused of obsessively pushing face masks as both a constant visual reminder for the pandemic, and as a “punishment” for those who continue to oppose restrictions and vaccine mandates.
