Twitter Labels RT As ‘State Affiliated Media’, But Ignores BBC, NPR

“Unlike independent media, state-affiliated media frequently use their news coverage as a means to advance a political agenda.”

In another bold censorship move, Twitter has decided to label certain accounts as ‘state-affiliated media’, but apparently this extends only to the accounts whose content the platform does not agree with.

Accounts such as RT and Sputnik, Russian news sites, and accounts of people who work or supply content for those websites have been labeled with the tag by Twitter:

Twitter also announced that tweets from those accounts will no longer be highlighted on the home screen, in notifications, or in searches.

Effectively, it is an open announcement of a shadow ban.

The fictional film that exposed a world wide child trafficking networks was recently banned on Amazon.com in light of recent interest in the movie from the Wayfair and Ghislaine Maxwell’s arrest.

Twitter claims it is doing this “to make the experience more transparent.”

However, state affiliated media sources that Twitter likes, such as the BBC in the UK and NPR in the US will not be affected by the move.

“State-financed media organizations with editorial independence, like the BBC in the UK or NPR in the US for example, will not be labeled,” the company noted.

Twitter further claims that “unlike independent media, state-affiliated media frequently use their news coverage as a means to advance a political agenda.”

To claim that independent media sources, such as CNN or The New York Times, for example, do not push a political agenda is laughable.

It is clear that this is yet another move by Twitter to editorialise news content, and censor content it doesn’t like.

That is made more apparent, given that Twitter says the move was made after meetings with “a number of expert groups, including members of the Digital and Human Rights Advisory Group in Twitter’s Trust & Safety Council.”

That group includes the Anti-Defamation League, the Dangerous Speech Project, and Feminist Frequency, all notorious for pushing censorship of conservative and alternative news content.

Conservative activist CJ Pearson found his Twitter account locked, Wednesday after he posted a statement condemning pedophilia.

Pearson posted the statement “Every pedophile in America should be castrated,” but found his account locked shortly after, with Twitter ruling that the post had violated its “abuse and harassment” policy.

Pearson was thus forced to delete the tweet in order to get his account back.

“After condemning child predators, Twitter gave me the boot,” Pearson announced on returning.

“I refuse to change my political stances for Twitter and I will never cave to the mob,” he added.

We have surely hit peak 2020 when big tech is choosing to censor people for “harassing” pedophiles.

Meanshile, people around the world are awakening and “harassing” the pedophilia circles of the rich and powerful:

Twitter Censors Trump Again, Claims To Be Protecting “Civil And Election Integrity”

“Engagements with the Tweet will be limited”

Twitter once again censored a post by Donald Trump Sunday, this time claiming that the President had “violated the Twitter Rules about civil and election integrity.”

Trump tweeted a claim that mail drop boxes are a “voter security disaster,” and would open the door to allow people to vote multiple times.

The president also warned that the mailboxes are not sanitized, and could help spread Covid-19.

Within a few hours, the tweet was censored by Twitter:

“This tweet violated the Twitter Rules about civil and election integrity. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible,” the filter read.

“Per our policies, this Tweet will remain on the service given its relevance to ongoing public conversation. Engagements with the Tweet will be limited. People will be able to Retweet with Comment, but not Like, Reply, or Retweet it,” a statement from Twitter read.

Twitter censoring Trump is now a regular occurrence.

Back in May, the company posted “fact check” labels to Trump’s tweets regarding potential fraud stemming from mail-in ballots. Trump’s tweet was deemed to be misleading, regardless of the fact that a USPS mail carrier in West Virginia was charged with fraud for tampering with vote-by-mail requests.

Twitter again censored one of Trump’s tweets at the height of rioting in Minneapolis, claiming that the President was “glorifying violence”.

Twitter inserted a “public interest notice” on another of Trump’s tweets in June, accusing him of “threatening harm against an identifiable group” when the President warned that any violence among protests in Washington would be met with a show of force in order to keep law and order.

Just weeks later in July, Twitter removed a meme that Trump had retweeted.

Twitter also completely removed a video of a Fox & Friends interview earlier this month claiming Trump was spreading “misinformation” about the coronavirus when he stated that children are ‘almost completely immune’ from the virus.
Two more tweets from Trump were not censored Sunday, both slamming Democrats for removing the words “under God” from the Pledge of Allegiance during last week’s DNC:

Viral Shadowgate Documentary Deleted by Facebook and YouTube After Film Maker’s Arrest

Movie was going viral with millions of views.

Millie Weaver

The Shadowgate documentary, which went viral after one of its producers was arrested on Friday, has now been removed by both YouTube and Facebook.

Journalist Millie Weaver was charged with alleged “robbery, tampering with evidence, obstruction justice, and domestic violence” after police officers apparently from a local SWAT team showed up at her Ohio home Friday morning and took her to the Portage County Jail in Ravenna.

The Portage County Sheriff’s Office later confirmed that there was a “secret indictment” against Weaver but refused to give further details.

A woman claiming to be Weaver’s mother later commented that there had been a family dispute over a $50 cellphone on April 25, but that she had almost immediately dropped all charges against Weaver and expressed shock that her daughter had been arrested.

The arrest occurred on the eve of Weaver releasing Shadowgate, a documentary that purports to expose the “operational role the shadow government played behind the scenes carrying out the coup against President Trump.”

After the documentary received millions of views following its upload to Facebook and YouTube, both websites censored the film, with YouTube claiming the movie violated its rules against “hate speech.”

Weaver is expected to appear in front of a “tentative bond meeting” later today.

The full Shadowgate documentary can still be seen below.

Weaver is expected to appear in front of a “tentative bond meeting” later today.

There is also a live protest against her arrest taking place in Ohio right now.
