Poll: 84 Per Cent of Americans Blame Media For Political Divisions in the Country

86 per cent think the press is biased.

A new poll has found that 84 per cent of Americans blame the media for creating corrosive political divisions in the country.

The Knight Foundation/Gallup poll reveals that 86 per cent of respondents say they see “a great deal” or “a fair amount” of political bias in the media. This compares to 62 per cent who felt the same way back in 2007.

As expected given the media’s left-wing prejudice, Democrats are less concerned than Republicans about media bias, with only 22 per cent having an unfavorable view of the press compared to 75 per cent of Republicans.

“Americans blame the media for political divisions, but they also see the potential for the media to heal these divides,” reports the Knight Foundation. “Eighty-four percent of Americans say the media is to blame for political division in this country. Still, 84% also say the media can serve as a healing force.”

The survey also found that 54 per cent believe fake news is reported deliberately while 74 per cent believe media owners are influencing news coverage.

“Most Americans have lost confidence in the media to deliver the news objectively,” Knight Foundation Senior Vice President Sam Gill said. “This is corrosive for our democracy.”

As we highlighted yesterday, numerous people who work within the mainstream media are now resigning due to the industry’s flagrant bias and corrosive impact on society.

A veteran TV personality admitted to MSNBC producer Ariana Pekary, “We are a cancer and there is no cure,” adding, “But if you could find a cure, it would change the world.”

Pekary herself resigned because she said that the media does everything to block diversity of thought while promoting hysterical fringe voices for ratings.

New York Times columnist Bari Weiss also resigned last month, asserting she was smeared by her own colleagues as a racist and a Nazi for daring to engage in “wrongthink” by not echoing fringe social justice rhetoric.

Four Months Later: Pelosi Condemns Rioting

“It’s what happens when you realise your internal poll numbers are through the floor”

Almost four months after the worst rioting and looting in history took hold in practically every major city in the US, the majority of which are run by Democrats, Nancy Pelosi finally said something about it.

“We support peaceful demonstrations. We participate in them. They are part of the essence of our democracy. That does not include looting, starting fires, or rioting,” Pelosi said Thursday, adding “They should be prosecuted. That is lawlessness.”

Note, that Pelosi did not mention BLM or Antifa, or name any group responsible for the destruction.

Many expressed the same theory about why Pelosi suddenly decided to address the matter:

Indeed, a series of new polls reveals that the majority of Americans believe there is a war being waged against police officers, and that support for the ‘black lives matter’ movement has dropped even further, with many more now seeing little distinction between the movement’s ‘protests’ and violent riots.

Senator Kennedy: ‘There Are Times When I think Pelosi Has Eaten Tide Pods’

Says Speaker is “bone deep down to the marrow foolish”

GOP Senator John Kennedy used a startling cultural reference to portray his belief that believes Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is crazy, saying that he often thinks she has ‘is one of those people who tried Tide Pods’ laundry detergent.

Appearing with Sean Hannity, Kennedy was addressing Pelosi’s obsession with the $3.4 trillion coronavirus bill.

“Sean, with respect, there are times, particularly recently, when I think Speaker Pelosi is one of those people who tried Tide pods,” Kennedy hilariously stated.

“I want you to think about what she proposed today, this is what the speaker is threatening to do,” he continued, adding “She is threatening to keep the House Democrats in session and prevent them from going home and running for reelection unless the Senate Republicans agree to the speaker’s $3.4 trillion coronavirus bill.”

“On the one hand we can vote for Pelosi’s $3.4 trillion bill or we can agree to allow her to put the House Democratic majority into jeopardy. That’s just bone deep down to the marrow foolish,” Kennedy urged.

Kennedy further emphasised that Nothing is going to get done while the Democrats refuse to back down over something that is never going to come to fruition.

“Senator Schumer and Speaker Pelosi aren’t going to agree to anything until we agree to spend a trillion dollars bailing out New York and California and that’s not going to happen in your or my natural life,” Kennedy added.

Kennedy’s assessment of Pelosi’s sanity comes on the heels of Mad Money Host Jim Cramer calling Pelosi “crazy Nanncy” right to her face, before instantly apologising:

Report: Biden Lawyers Up In Preparation For “Extended Legal Battle” Election

Democrats are not going to accept the election result if Trump wins

The New York Times is reporting that Joe Biden has hired hundreds of lawyers, including two former solicitor generals, and has created an entire legal division to fight an extended battle after the election.

The report notes that Bob Bauer, a former White House Counsel under Obama will help oversee the operation, with Donald Verrilli Jr. and Walter Dellinger, the two former solicitors general, heading up Biden’s “special litigation” unit:

The report also notes that Biden has employed hundreds of independent law firms, with former Attorney General Eric Holder serving as a liaison between them and the campaign.

The stated aims of the unit are to “combat voter suppression,” “guard against foreign interference,” as well as ensuring “voters cast their ballots correctly.”

“There are some unique challenges this year,” Bauer told the the Times, adding that “We’re not going to get caught up in alarmist rhetoric they [the Trump campaign] are using to scare voters.”

“The constant return to the issue of fraud is itself a voter suppression tool,” he added.

The move plays into the Democratic narrative that Biden will win the election over a long drawn out period, and that President Trump will try to claim a quick victory and even refuse to leave the White House.

The narrative has been pushed hard by the likes of the Clintons, who have repeatedly urged Biden not to concede defeat under any circumstances.

In reality, new polls indicate that Trump has a huge lead:

This also jives with the paltry numbers seen attending Biden rallies:

All indications are that Trump will win on election day, yet the Democrats will refuse to accept the result:
