Video: UK Thought Police Pay Man Home Visit Over “Offensive” Facebook Comments

While people are told police don’t have the resources to respond to burglaries.

A video out of the UK shows plain clothed police officers visiting a man’s home over “offensive” comments he posted on Facebook during a political discussion.

After getting involved in the online exchange, the man was surprised just a day later by cops turning up on his doorstep and asking him to make an appointment at his local police station.

The officers in the clip make it clear that their visit is because of a Facebook post, but refuse to specify what the man had posted and how it was against the law.

The man asked what he is potentially being charged with, to which the officer responds “malicious communications,” which he defines as making comments on an online forum “deemed to be offensive.”

The man denies that he ever said anything “malicious” and was merely engaging in political debate.

According to the description accompanying the video, the man was not arrested but he may have to appear in court.

People in the UK are routinely arrested and questioned by police for social media posts under the Malicious Communications Act.

The law states that it is illegal to send messages “for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety,” although this has been broadened to such a degree that anyone can claim “distress or anxiety” simply because they were offended.

In 2017, it was reported that British police had arrested 3,395 people for ‘offensive online comments’ in the space of a year.

Last year, Harry Miller, a former police officer himself, was interrogated by cops for 30 minutes merely for liking a tweet that was deemed to be offensive to the transgender community.

As we highlighted earlier this week, a 12-year-old boy faced national condemnation and police arrest after he sent racist comments to a multi-millionaire black Premier League footballer.

Police resources were also apparently used to investigate people who posted tweets critical of the coronavirus lockdown.

Meanwhile, violent crime continues to soar to record highs and people are being told that police may not be able to respond to crimes like burglaries because they don’t have the resources.

Argue with someone about politics on Facebook though and they’ll be round in a flash.

Sacked CNN Clown Stelter Gets Hired By Harvard To Chair Debates About ‘Threats To Democracy’

University claims Stelter will “help deepen public and scholarly understanding”

Brian Stelter, the former CNN anchor who was sacked for promulgating Russia collusion nonsense for six years, among a cavalcade of other crimes against journalism, has been hired by Harvard where he will ‘convene’ a series of discussions about ‘threats to Democracy’, according to the University.

Harvard’s website for The Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy notes that “As the Walter Shorenstein Fellow, Stelter will convene a series of discussions about threats to democracy and the range of potential responses from the news media.”

“These discussions with media leaders, policymakers, politicians, and Kennedy School students, fellows, and faculty will help deepen public and scholarly understanding about the current state of the information ecosystem and its impacts on democratic governance,” the statement further claims.

Stelter helping to deepen understanding? Are they having a laugh? The only thing this guy has ever managed to deepen over the years is the thickness of the blubber lining in between his skull and his Pennywise-a-like face.

In his last broadcast on CNN last month after being sacked, Stelter proved one final time that he has a complete lack of self awareness by stating that “the free world needs a reliable source,” and “we must make sure we don’t give platforms to those lying to our faces”.

Stelter played a reel of old footage of himself on a TV next to his now balder, more engorged, and more potato like-head while trying not to cry and simultaneously lecturing everyone else about protecting ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom’:

Stelter declared that in media “The hard part is sorting out the treasure from the trash,” and that “we must make sure that we’re representing the full spectrum of debate and what is going on in the country and the world.”

It wasn’t difficult to discern that Stelter is complete trash and for years lied to viewers and pushed a one sided narrative.

That’s exactly why he’s gone.

It appears that Stelter did not take up the job ‘offered’ to him by The Babylon Bee to create more fake news:

Now he’s at Harvard, look for Stelter to bring some of the following ‘wisdom’ to help scholars understand who the real threat to democracy is:

BBC Whines Monarchy “At Odds With Diversity” After Queen’s Death

Says monarchy is predicated on “white inherited privilege.”

BBC Radio 4 whined that the monarchy was “at odds with diversity” and an example of “white inherited privilege” following the death of the Queen of England.

    Yes, really.

The national broadcaster was not immune from the invective and bile spewed by “anti-racists” all over Twitter, who blamed the Queen for “colonialism” despite the fact that it had largely ended before she even took the throne.

While not going as far as one Carnegie Mellon University professor, who wished upon the Queen an “excruciating” death and tweeted that she hoped the Queen would die “in agony,” the BBC nevertheless platformed similar “anti-racist” rhetoric.

According to journalist Sam Ashworth-Hayes, shortly after the announcement of her death was made official, BBC Radio 4 attacked the legitimacy of the monarchy.

“BBC Radio 4 busy telling us about how the monarchy is “at odds with society”, which values “equality, diversity, inclusivity”, while the monarchy is “about white inherited privilege”, at odds with our “multi-faith, multi-ethnic society,” tweeted Ashworth-Hayes. “Great work from our national broadcaster.”

The broadcaster, or if not presumably a guest they had platformed, asserted that “this white privileged family at the apex of British society is so at odds with the inclusive multiethnic place Britain can be.”

They also went on to talk about “protests against the Royal family and against Britain” in the Caribbean over slavery.

Great Britain was the first country in the world to officially abolish slavery in 1833, nearly 120 years before Queen Elizabeth II was coronated. Slavery still continues to this day in numerous non-white countries.

Meanwhile, the New York Times didn’t hesitate in trying to taint the Queen’s legacy in the hours after her death.

“The queen helped obscure a bloody history of decolonization whose proportions and legacies have yet to be adequately acknowledged,” claimed one opinion piece published and promoted by the newspaper.
