Video: New Yorkers Sign Petition to Topple ‘Slave Owner’ Washington Statue, But Not Muhammad

Social experiment highlights rampant hypocrisy.

A social experiment by Ami Horowitz shows New Yorkers gleefully signing a petition to take down statues of “slave owners” like George Washington, but suddenly becoming reticent when Horowitz mentions the Prophet Muhammad.

“I want to take down all statues of people who owned slaves in this country,” Horowitz told potential signatories, emphasizing how he wanted to remove the statue of George Washington in DC.

All of the people featured in the video gleefully signed the petition to take down statues of “slave owners” like Washington and Jefferson.

However, when it came to another infamous historical slave owner, their enthusiasm suddenly waned.

“I want to take down a statue of Muhammad, the founder of Islam, because he also owned slaves,” Horowitz tells a black woman.

“OK, I don’t want to sign this,” she responds.

Every other person in the clip refuses to sign the petition to remove statues of Muhammad.

Asked why people are signing the petition to take down Washington’s statue but not the one applying to Muhammad, one man argues that it’s because of “religious freedom.”

“But slavery’s not part of religious freedom,” responds Horowitz.

Obviously, there are no statues of the Prophet Muhammad, but nobody is calling for mosques to be demolished, despite the fact that Muhammad owned slaves.

As the BBC highlights, “The Prophet Muhammad did not try to abolish slavery, and bought, sold, captured, and owned slaves himself.”

However, the rest of the article strenuously argues that because Muhammad treated his slaves well and encouraged others to do the same, that this made his slave ownership acceptable.

The same justification probably wouldn’t go down as well when applied to Washington or Jefferson.

The social experiment underscores how slave ownership is almost certainly not the real reason for leftists wanting to see statues of Washington and Jefferson toppled.

Google Shadow Bans Searches For “Riots Today” Following Violent Unrest in Minnesota

Other search engines provide results about Minnesota riots when same term is used.

Amidst yet another night of violent unrest in Minnesota, Google is effectively shadow banning searches for “riots today” despite other search engines providing links to stories about the riots when the same search term is used.

Black Lives Matter agitators rioted and looted for a second night in Minnesota despite the deployment of the National Guard.

The unrest is in response to the police shooting of Daunte Wright, who resisted arrest after cops stopped him for a traffic violation.

The killing is being described as an example of “systemic racism” despite the fact that Wright was shot by a dumb female officer who mistook a gun for a taser.

Apparently, Google is keen to not have the disorder that followed be described as “riots,” despite the fact that is precisely what happened.

A search for the term “riots today” returns results pertaining to the January 6th incident at the Capitol and the Brixton riots, which took place 40 years ago.

In comparison, searching for the same term on DuckDuckGo provides numerous links to stories about the riots (despite them being described as “protests” by most mainstream media sources).

The top news search result on Microsoft Bing also returns a story about the Minnesota riots.

Twitter also continues to describe the chaos as “protests,” despite even Joe Biden himself asserting that looting and attacks on buildings aren’t a legitimate form of protest.

Once again, despite the fact that Wright’s killing is blatantly being exploited by opportunistic thugs to commit crimes that have nothing to do with “justice” or “peaceful protest,” the media and the Big Tech establishment continues to run defense for violent BLM-inspired scumbags.

Harvard/Harris Poll: Americans More Concerned Over Summer Violence Than January 6 Riot

64% say January 6 breach being used to suppress legitimate movements.

A new Harvard/Harris poll has found that Americans are more concerned over the violence that happened last summer in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd than the Capitol riot on January 6.

Although the media has consistently tried to fan the flames of hysteria over the Capitol breach, which led to the deaths of four Trump supporters and one police officer, the survey reveals that Americans are more unsettled over the months-long riots across major cities that were responsible for at least 19 deaths.

Asked, “Which do you find more concerning – the violence in American cities during the summer or the riots at the Capitol on January 6th?” 55 per cent of respondents said they were more perturbed by violence in the cities compared to 45 per cent who said the January 6 riot.

When asked if the January 6 riot was “being used by politicians to suppress legitimate political movements or do you think there is no such suppression of legitimate movements?” 64 per cent said yes compared to 36 per cent who said no.

In addition, 71 per cent polled said they thought Antifa, which was involved in much of the violent rioting, was a “domestic terrorist group” while 29 said it wasn’t. This compares to 66 per cent who think the Proud Boys are a domestic terrorist group and 36 per cent who don’t.

Although the media has framed the George Floyd riots as “mostly peaceful” protests, they caused 1-2 billion in property damage and led to 14,000 arrests.

The 19 death toll number is almost certainly higher since official sources seemingly stopped counting the total after June 8th.

Democrats in Oregon have blamed ‘Republican attacks’ after Antifa smashed up its headquarters last Wednesday just hours after Joe Biden was inaugurated.

The Democrat Party Of Oregon released a statement that doesn’t even mention left wing violence or Antifa, but instead infers that Republicans are to blame.

“This is not the first time our building has been vandalized during the past year, and none of the prior incidents have deterred us from our important work to elect Democrats up and down the ballot,” the statement says, adding “This incident will be no different.”

After asking for donations and help to fix up the building, the statement adds “There is still so much to be done, but we at the Democratic Party of Oregon are resolute and determined to do everything in our power to support the Biden/Harris administration, and to help Oregon and America recover from the pandemic stronger than before.”

The statement then claims that “Years of relentless Republican attacks on our Democratic values and the very foundations of our democracy have not stopped our work, and neither will this senseless vandalism. We are undeterred.”

Once again, take a look at these ‘Republicans’ attacking the Democratic building:
