US Officially Withdraws From World Health Organisation

The US has officially notified the United Nations that America is leaving the World Health Organisation, and the process will be completed one year from now on July 6 2021.

However, Joe Biden says that if elected President, he will reverse the decision.

The Trump administration started the formal process of leaving the WHO this week, following the President’s fierce criticism of the health body as being under the “total control” of China.

A WHO official told reporters Monday that “We have received reports that the US has submitted formal notification to the UN secretary general that it is withdrawing from WHO effective 6 July 2021.”

The US gives more than $450m per year to the WHO and currently owes the body $200m, according to reports.

Democrats used the announcement to bash Trump’s coronavirus response.

Senator Jeff Merkley, the top Democrat on the Senate foreign relations subcommittee said the development is “a huge win for China and a huge blow to the American people”.

Senator Robert Menendez, the ranking member on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, charged that the move “leaves Americans sick & America alone.”

Joe Biden wrote “Americans are safer when America is engaged in strengthening global health. On my first day as president, I will rejoin the WHO and restore our leadership on the world stage.”

Meanwhile, the WHO itself stealthily updated a timeline on its website this week, admitting that China never reported its discovery of the coronavirus to the organisation, and that WHO officials learned about it independently when they were finally allowed to visit the country weeks after first requesting to do so.

Breitbart News reported that “The update came after Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee (HFAC) released an interim report on its investigation of China’s response after it discovered cases of the coronavirus in Wuhan.”

HFAC Lead Republican and China Task Force chairman Michael McCaul (R-TX) said in a statement:

I’m glad to see the WHO and the Chinese Communist Party have both read my interim report on the origins of the pandemic and are finally admitting to the world the truth – the CCP never reported the virus outbreak to the WHO in violation of WHO regulations. The question now is whether the CCP will continue their false propaganda campaign that continues to claim they warned the world, or whether they will come clean and begin to work with the world health community to get to the bottom of this deadly pandemic.

Appearing on Fox News, McCaul charged that the WHO cares less about global health than it does about ‘appeasing China’:

McCaul says he has repeatedly tried to get information from the WHO about China’s response to coronavirus, but has been met with a brick wall constantly:

In May, scores of countries signed a resolution collectively calling for an independent investigation into the origin of the coronavirus and the reaction of the World Health Organisation.

The WHO has come under intense scrutiny for repeating Chinese claims in January that the virus was not contagious between humans. The body then complained that it was not invited to take part in China’s investigations of the outbreak.

As we highlighted repeatedly, the WHO blocked doctors from urging countries to impose border controls to stop the spread of coronavirus and repeatedly told countries not to close borders, despite this being proven to be an effective way of controlling the spread of the virus.

While not addressing the WHO specifically, President Trump posted several tweets Tuesday slamming the media and Democrats for not acknowledging improvements in the coronavirus situation:

French Police Tell Airbnb to Report Customers Who Violate Lockdown Rules

French authorities have told Airbnb property owners to report customers to the police who they believe to have violated lockdown rules.

The request was made after cops noted an increase in Parisians attempting to evade the city’s new lockdown by renting out larger Airbnb properties for rule-breaking gatherings.

According to Marlène Schiappa, the Ministry of Interior’s Minister Delegate in charge of citizenship, there have been “354 festive gatherings in private spaces and sometimes places that have been rented” since mid-December.

“There were sometimes parties in homes that the police thought were rented through the Airbnb platform, so it’s very important for us to work with all the platforms,” said Schiappa.

Authorities are also working directly with Airbnb, Booking.com and Gîtes de France and have requested that they demand more information from customers, such as a reason as to why they’re renting large apartments.

As we previously highlighted, while the social activities of normal Parisians are being ruthlessly patrolled by the authorities, for the wealthy and politically well connected it’s a different story.

French TV channel M6 aired secretly recorded footage exposing how elitists, some of them government ministers, had been flagrantly violating lockdown rules by having secret dinners at luxury restaurants, with the meals costing as much as €490 euros per person.

As ever, it’s one rule for them and another for everybody else.

Video: High School Coach Fired After Refusing To Enforce “Insane” Outdoor Masks During Sports

“I will not stand up in front of the kids and lie to them and tell them that these masks are doing anything worthwhile”

Track and field coach Bradley Keyes told reporters in New Hampshire that he has been fired after he refused to force students to wear masks outside while they were engaged in sporting activities.

Coach Keyes was working at Pembroke Academy when it introduced an outdoor mask policy, which he calls “senseless, irrational, cowardice bullsh*t.”

“I will not stand up in front of the kids and lie to them and tell them that these masks are doing anything worthwhile out in an open field with wind blowing and the sun shining,” Keyes explained in a letter to the school’s athletics director.

Keyes added that “These insane policies are robbing kids of once in a lifetime opportunities for no valid reason other than irrational fears and going along with the sheep.”

The coach put his own job on the line by adding ‘fire me if you must’, and he says that the school obliged him by doing just that.

Watch:

Keyes said that he wanted “to make a point” about people just accepting draconian restrictions, adding “I just think people haven’t pushed back and I decided it was time to push back.”

In a further bog post, the coach wrote “One of the fundamental parts of all of this is learning to play by the rules. The rules [sic] supposedly put in place in order to create a fair and level playing field, to let everyone know what is expected and allowed, and then to let the best man, woman, or team win. Except now we are adding arbitrary, senseless, ill-thought rules.”

Having to wear face masks while running and engaging in sports and fitness activities is dangerous according to the World Health Organisation:

Coach Keyes was absolutely doing his job correctly, protecting his students’ health and fitness, but he has been fired simply for daring to question the mask orthodoxy.

Report: Brits At Pubs Will Have To Register On Government Tracking App, Hand Over Phones

Venue staff will be mandated to check people’s phones

According to a report in the London Telegraph, anyone wishing to drink in a pub garden in Britain from Monday (only the outside areas will open) will be forced to hand over their phone to venue staff who must check the individual is registered on the government’s tracking app.

Venues will face fines of £1000 if they are found to be admitting people who have not registered on the NHS Test and Trace app with all their personal details and then scanned a QR code on entry to the outdoor portion of the venue.

The official government guidance notes “should someone choose to check in with the official NHS QR code poster, a venue should check their phone screen to ensure they have successfully checked in”.

The word ‘choose’ is odd because the guidance makes clear that it is mandatory for everyone to individually register on the app, or fill in a paper form.

There is no ‘choice’ in the matter.

Pubs have also been told to refuse entry to anyone they believe has given false details.

As we have previously highlighted, the much maligned ‘test and trace’ app is completely voluntary and authorities have no grounds to enforce its adoption legally. This is yet another example of how bureaucratic control freaks are simply inventing laws and justifying intimidation by means of coronavirus hysteria.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson ‘rewarded’ Brits recently by announcing that coming vaccine passports would not be required to enter pubs, however this policy directly undermines that and is essentially a small step away from being the exact same thing.

As we have previously noted, the vaccine passports are set to be integrated with the test and trace app via a QR code system. That has been the plan all along. Further dystopian systems, including biometric face scanning, are also being touted.

Responding to the latest developments, Madeleine Stone of privacy advocacy group Big Brother Watch, told The Telegraph: “Requiring every single person who enters a cafe or pub to show their phone screen and hand over their personal details poses a serious risk to privacy and data rights and is based on exclusion, criminal sanctions and police enforcement.”

“Businesses won’t be able to comply with this draconian new diktat as well as data protection law, which is why we’ve sent legal letters to the Department of Health and Information Commissioner’s Office as to whether these intrusive requirements are safe and lawful,” Stone added.

Venue owners have also expressed dismay at the guidance, expressing concern that it is unenforceable and will leave already stretched staff vulnerable to abuse from angry punters who don’t want to be tracked by the government just to have a pint of beer.
