UK Estate Agents to Drop Term “Master Bedroom” to Placate Politically Correct Millennials

They claim it’s “racist,” even though term wasn’t used until nearly a hundred years after abolition of slavery.

Estate agents across the UK are set to stop using the term “master bedroom” in order to placate politically correct millennials who think such language is racist.

Yes, really.

Some property agents have decided to follow in the footsteps of US realtors, who are dropping the term “master” in listings as a sop to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The rooms will instead be described as “principle” or “primary” in the hope of warding off the potential anger of easily offended morons.

“These changes are being driven by political correctness and dramatic transformations in the buyer demographic across prime central London,” said Peter Wetherell of Wetherell estate agents in Mayfair.

“The typical buyers are now aged from their early twenties to their mid-forties and from all over the world. This young demographic tends to be very broad-minded and find any form of sexism or racism deeply offensive,” he added.

Perhaps living in fear of the same irate mob that tore down the Edward Colston statue and threw it in the river, David Westgate, the group chief executive of the Bristol-based estate agent chain, Andrews, said, “The sentiment behind the Black Lives Matter campaign has helped us all be more aware of our behaviour. We can all do more to make sure people are treated with respect.”

It is not known whether Westgate took a knee and profusely apologized for his white privilege while making that statement.

The director of Benham and Reeves estate agents in London, Marc von Grundherr, claims, “The word master does carry historically racist undertones.”

He’s wrong.

In reality, as Kurt Zindulka highlights, the phrase wasn’t in use in the United Kingdom until 1925, nearly a hundred years after slavery was officially abolished throughout the nation.

“The phrase master bedroom wasn’t used until the early 20th century,” said Trevor Abrahmson, the managing director of Glentree International. “If the woke liberal elite want to equate that with slaves and masters, that is ridiculous.”

Edward Heaton, the founder of Heaton & Partners, echoed Abrahmson’s sentiment, remarking, “It is ludicrous that we should be expected to ignore our history and heritage to placate a vociferous minority.”

UK Police Boast About Fining Person Eating A Kebab, Alone, In A Car

The Covid crackdown is now in full force

As the crackdown on lockdown ‘violators’ is being amped up by the authorities in the UK, police were criticised for boasting about fining a person who they witnessed eating a kebab in their car, alone.

Avon and Somerset Police tweeted about the incident which occurred over the weekend at Cheddar Gorge, a place of natural beauty in the South West of the country.

The issue, police say, is that the person drove 20 miles from Bristol to eat the kebab.

Police bragged about patrolling the area to punish people they deemed to be breaking lockdown:

In a further statement to media, police said that while “patrolling in Cheddar [they] engaged with a number of people who were sitting in parked cars in Cheddar Gorge.”

“Officers took the decision to issue fixed penalty notices to seven individuals whom they determined were not local to the area, were not members of the same household, and did not have a valid reason for their journey under the current COVID-19 regulations,” the statement continued.

“We would ask that people follow the regulations, only travel when it is essential and take exercise locally to their home address, in order to save lives and protect the NHS,” the statement concluded, parroting government rhetoric.

The Police are asking the public to report lockdown violators:

Backlash toward the police on Twitter was swift:

While some expressed disgust with police, others were eager to snitch:

This incident followed a number of other cases of police cracking down on people that made headlines over the weekend.

Two women were interrogated and fined by police for going on a walk in a remote area 5 miles from where they lived despite this not being illegal under coronavirus laws. Police told the women that hot drinks they were carrying constituted a “picnic”.

The women, Jessica Allen and Eliza Moore, told reporters that the police appeared ‘desperate to fine them’:

The women explained that they reasoned the remote place they chose to walk “would keep us safer, and it would be safer for everyone else as well.”

The pair said that “The officers approached us as we parked, we parked two spaces away from each other to ensure we really were complying with social distancing, and the officers soon started walking towards our vehicles.”

“They were looking to find information that they could justify that we had broken the rules,” they explained.

Elsewhere, video emerged of policing arresting people who were walking, sitting on benches and drinking coffee outside.

After the footage went viral, police claimed that the whole thing was staged by ‘anti-lockdown protesters’:

Video also emerged of police officers themselves sitting down in a cafe drinking coffee, with the person filming them questioning why they were not following the rules:

In a separate incident, a couple with a baby and a pushchair were grilled by COVID police in Birmingham city centre merely for walking on the street. The report noted that the Police Community Support Officers then began quizzing people who had arrived at a pharmacy to pick up prescription drugs.

Meanwhile, in Scotland, a family was arrested after police entered their home acting on a tip off from a neighbor that there were “too many people inside.”

One local police force even angrily tweeted about “2 reports of snowballs being thrown” in violation of coronavirus lockdown rules.

Another police force threatened people with fines for planning to go sledging in a remote area of North Yorkshire.

Last week, we reported on the announcement by police of the adoption of a new ‘hardline’ lockdown policy to stop and question people if they are out in the street, and to issue on the spot fines if they cannot provide a reasonable excuse for being out of their houses.

Police also said they would specifically target ‘anti-lockdown, anti-vaccine protesters’, saying that “we now have a hardcore element who are against the rules.”

Police are also demanding new powers to force entry into the homes of suspected lockdown violators.

As we reported earlier, the government has reportedly discussed upping COVID restrictions even further by only allowing people to leave their homes once per week, and banning talking to friends in the street or supermarket.

Supermarkets themselves are reportedly set to be patrolled by police and inspected amid claims that they are not enforcing social distancing rules effectively enough. Some may face fines for ‘bending the rules’, according to reports.

The government has been criticised for implementing a third lockdown, wherein everyone is restricted to gathering in parks and going to the supermarket only.

Critics say it forces people into the same spaces, rather than allowing people to spread out naturally.

It is clear that the public is growing sick and tired of lockdown restrictions, and that police are implementing a more heavy handed approach in order to enforce government Covid decrees.

Reports emerged at the weekend that restrictions were due to stay in place until at least March 23, yet the government has not given any official timeline for how long the lockdown will last, or any indications of when restrictions will be tightened or relieved.

Meanwhile, in Wuhan…

This Is CNN: ‘Trump Supporters Believe BULLSH*T’

“Stop saying that we must respect Trump supporters who believe bullshit”

CNN host Don Lemon declared Monday that leftists should stop pandering to people who claim that supporters of President Trump should be afforded respect, because they all “believe bullshit.”

Lemon was discussing the intentions of some GOP lawmakers to object to the Electoral College certification of Joe Biden as President elect.

“We have millions and millions of voters who believe this election was illegitimate and it was stolen. Why do they believe that? Because you have been telling them that,” Lemon ranted.

“Of course, they’re going to believe it. If you would stop telling them that and start telling them the truth, then maybe they would believe the truth, that the election was not stolen and it was a clean election according to everyone who has investigated, most of them Republicans,” he continued.

“So stop saying that we must respect Trump supporters who believe bullshit because it is bullshit that you have been feeding them,” the host further frothed.

“The president and you have been feeding them the BS, and now that they believe it, all of a sudden, again, another self-fulfilling prophecy and feedback loop,” Lemon raged.

Watch:

Of course, it’s no surprise that Lemon projectile vomited this bile, it’s what he does on a nightly basis. He recently labelled Trump supporters drug addicts, and over-privileged tax avoiders.

NHS Requires Recently Retired Doctors to Have “Diversity Training” Before They’re Allowed to Administer Vaccines

Clown world strikes again.

Recently retired doctors are being prevented from helping administer COVID-19 vaccines because the NHS requires them to have “diversity training” and knowledge of “radicalisation.”

Yes, really.

40,000 doctors and nurses applied to return to the NHS back in March at the start of the pandemic but only 5,000 had been given jobs by July, according to a report in the Telegraph.

Similar bureaucracy is also hampering the vaccine rollout, with doctors having to fulfil the requirements of the Equality Act.

This means that when they wade into the minefield that is the application process for helping to administer the vaccine, they have to provide 20 pieces of evidence, including documents on Equality, Diversity and Human Rights, Fire Safety, Conflict Resolution, and Preventing Radicalisation.

“Reached this page on my application and have given up for now. Can’t see many retired clinicians wading through this lot – or having all required docs,” said Professor Maureen Baker.

“Yes I’m going through this today….now on my 7th hour of CPD! Not even at ‘pre-employment screening’ yet. Suspect many will have given up by now,” commented Professor Nicola Thomas.

The NHS responded by saying it was necessary “in order to recruit a wide array of individuals from a variety of backgrounds.”

In other words, meeting diversity quotas is more important than getting as many doctors as possible to help speed up the vaccine rollout.

Ludicrous.
