New Study Finds Focus on “Viral” Incidents of Alleged Police Brutality Led to Massive Spike in Homicides & Felonies

A new study into the impact that “viral” incidents of alleged police brutality have on crime found that in riot-hit cities like Baltimore and Ferguson, excess homicides and felonies rapidly spiked following highly publicized incidents.

The study was conducted by Tanaya Devi and Roland G. Fryer Jr for the National Bureau of Economic Research.

“For investigations that were not preceded by “viral” incidents of deadly force, investigations, on average, led to a statistically significant reduction in homicides and total crime,” states the study. “In stark contrast, all investigations that were preceded by “viral” incidents of deadly force have led to a large and statistically significant increase in homicides and total crime.”

In other words, due to what has been termed the “Ferguson affect,” police are seemingly more reticent to patrol high crime areas or engage with potential suspects in fear of becoming the next villain of the Black Lives Matter movement.

According to the authors, “We estimate that these investigations caused almost 900 excess homicides and almost 34,000 excess felonies.”

The study notes that the reason for the spike is an “abrupt change in the quantity of policing activity,” or in other words less police on patrol and less interactions with criminal suspects.

This gives criminals more free reign to terrorize areas of cities knowing that they are less likely to be stopped by police.

“In Chicago, the number of police-civilian interactions decreased by almost 90% in the month after the investigation was announced. In Riverside CA, interactions decreased 54%. In St. Louis, self-initiated police activities declined by 46%,” the study found.

Given that much of the violence in cities like Chicago is black on black, this is yet another example of how the Black Lives Matter movement is harming black people by leaving them exposed to violent criminals.

We’re seeing this phenomenon unfold yet again in Atlanta, where Officer Garrett Rolfe is facing 11 charges including felony murder for shooting 27-year-old Rayshard Brooks, despite the fact that Brooks pointed a taser at him and is a career criminal who beat his wife and terrorized his own children.

This led to police in Atlanta threatening to go on strike, which of course will almost certainly lead to a massive spike in crime.

CNN’s Don Lemon Claims Black on Black Violence Has Nothing to do With Black Lives Matter

Gets owned by Terry Crews.

Actor Terry Crews clashed with CNN’s Don Lemon last night during an exchange in which Lemon ludicrously asserted that black on black violence should have nothing to do with the Black Lives Matter movement.

Crews was targeted by the woke mob after he tweeted on July 4 the supposedly controversial opinion that not all white people were bad and not all black people were good.

Before his interview on CNN last night, Crews also tweeted, “#ALLBLACKLIVESMATTER 9 black CHILDREN killed by violence in Chicago since June 20, 2020.”

Crews began by saying that there were “some very militant type forces in Black Lives Matter” and issuing a warning to not allow the movement to get hijacked by extremists.

Given that the ideological inspiration behind Black Lives Matter is literally a cop-killing terrorist fugitive who is on the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted Terrorist list, one could argue that the movement has its origins in extremism.

“When you have the leaders of the black lives movement who are now talking about…if we don’t get our demands we’re gonna burn it down, other black people who are talking about working with other whites and other races, they’re being viewed as sellouts or called Uncle Toms, you start to understand that you are now being controlled,” said Crews, adding that BLM embodied a “dangerous self-righteousness that viewed themselves as better, it was almost a supremist move, their black lives mattered a lot more than mine.”

When Crews clarified that he was talking about the leadership of BLM, Lemon asserted that Martin Luther King was once seen as extremist, leading Crews to argue that there had to be a non-racial component to BLM for it to work.

Crews then pointed to the industrial levels of black on black violence in Chicago, which in recent weeks has claimed the lives of nine black children, noting that “the Black Lives Matter movement has said nothing” about the violence.

“What does that have to do with equality though?,” responded Lemon, seriously making the argument that black people dying in massive numbers at the hands of other blacks had nothing to do with black lives mattering and was “apples and oranges,” while trying to shift the blame to “gun culture” across the entire country.

Presumably, Lemon thinks that there is no “equality” in America, yet he was unable to point out any rights that white people have that black people don’t (because they both have the exact same rights under the law).

“Black people need to hold other black people accountable, this is black America’s version of the #MeToo movement,” said Crews. “If anything’s gonna change, we ourselves, we need to look at our own communities and look at each other and say this thing cannot go down. There are a lot of great people there who are held hostage by people who literally are running these neighborhoods with violence and then claiming that black lives matter.”

Lemon then absurdly tried to argue that talking about black on black violence would be like a “cancer matters” movement being asked why they don’t talk about HIV and that BLM is solely about police brutality, another misnomer given that the full scope of BLM is about defunding the police, overthrowing capitalism and imposing communist ideals (goals that BLM front groups routinely advocate).

“When you look at the organization, police brutality is not the only thing they’re talking about,” responded Crews, prompting Lemon to agree but then contradict himself by repeating the false claim that BLM was solely about police brutality and criminal justice.

The interview ended with Crews insisting that there was more to the BLM agenda than police brutality and that it needed to be scrutinized.

Black on black violence isn’t part of the Black Lives Matter narrative because Black Lives Matter isn’t a civil rights movement, it’s a political movement and black on black violence can’t be exploited for political grist.

It’s that simple. And Don Lemon knows it.

“You Killed a Child”: Father of 8-Year-Old Shot During BLM Protest Speaks Out

“You killed your own.”

The father of an 8-year-old girl who was shot during a Black Lives Matter protest in Atlanta told BLM demonstrators “you killed your own…you killed a child” during an emotional press conference.

The shooting happened on July 4 near the same Wendys that was torched by BLM protesters in response to the police killing of Rayshard Brooks less than a month ago.

The car carrying Secoriea Turner entered an area occupied by protesters, at least two of whom opened fire on the vehicle, blowing out the tires and killing Turner.

“They say black lives matter, you killed your own,” said Secoriya Williamson. “They killed my baby because she crossed a barrier and made a u-turn, you killed a child, she didn’t do nothing to nobody.”

“You killed an 8-year-old child…she just wanted to get home to see her cousin, that’s all she wanted to do, she just wanted to get home,” he added.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms shared the same sentiment.

“You can’t blame it on police officers,” said Bottoms. “You can’t say it’s about criminal justice reform. This is about some people carrying weapons, who shot up a car with an eight-year-old baby. For what?”

As we highlighted earlier, Turner’s death was one of several during a bloody July 4 weekend, which included a 7-year-old girl in Chicago who was shot in the head while standing on the sidewalk at her grandmother’s house.

Don’t expect any Black Lives Matter marches in solidarity with the family of Secoriea Turner. To them, black lives only appear to matter if they are taken by white people.

“You’ve Shot and Killed a Baby!” Atlanta Mayor Decries Black on Black Violence During BLM March

14 also shot during July 4 street party.

An 8-year-old black girl was shot dead inside a car during a Black Lives Matter protest, leading the Mayor of Atlanta to proclaim, “We are shooting each other on our streets.”

The shooting happened on July 4 near the same Wendys that was torched by BLM protesters in response to the police killing of Rayshard Brooks less than a month ago.

“A crowd of protesters gathered there and erected barricades. A car tried to enter the area to find a place to park, but was blocked by the activists,” reports RT.

“In the ensuing confrontation, at least two people in the crowd opened fire at the vehicle, hitting Secoriea Turner, 8, police said. She was taken to Atlanta Medical Center, where she died from her wounds.”

The gunmen responsible for Turner’s death are still on the loose.

“You can’t blame it on police officers,” said Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. “You can’t say it’s about criminal justice reform. This is about some people carrying weapons, who shot up a car with an eight-year-old baby. For what?”

“In the civil rights movement there was a defined common enemy,” she added. “We are fighting the enemy within. We are shooting each other on our streets. You’ve shot and killed a baby!”

Despite the Mayor’s plea, some Black Lives Matter supporters blamed her for taking away attention from police brutality.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in Atlanta, 14 people were shot and two died during a July 4 street party on Auburn Avenue.

Video footage of before and during the shooting shows that virtually all of the attendees at the party were black.

Meanwhile, in Chicago, 67 people were shot, 13 fatally, over the July 4 weekend, with 9 of the victims being minors. Two children died.

One of the victims was a 7-year-old girl who was shot in the head while standing on the sidewalk at her grandmother’s house.

“Tonight, a 7-year-old girl in Austin joined a list of teenagers and children whose hopes and dreams were ended by the barrel of a gun,” Mayor Lori Lightfoot wrote on Twitter on Saturday.

Don’t expect any ‘Black Lives Matter’ marches to take place in honor of any of the black children shot by black men over the last few nights.

Apparently, black lives only “matter” when they are taken by white people.
