HBO Removes ‘Gone With the Wind’, Erasing First Black Woman to Win an Oscar

HBO has caved to the demands of the mob and removed ‘Gone With the Wind’ from its platform, in the process erasing the first black female Oscar winner Hattie McDaniel.

Another massive victory for the “anti-racists”.

“HBO Max said the 1939 film was “a product of its time” and depicted “ethnic and racial prejudices” that “were wrong then and are wrong today,” reports BBC News.

The controversy centers around a depiction of slave characters who are content to stay with their owners after slavery is abolished (something that did happen and is not historically inaccurate).

The film’s removal takes on an added layer of ludicrousness when you consider that in deleting the movie, HBO has also erased the first black female Oscar winner from history.

“These people are certifiably nuts. The first Black woman to win an Oscar was Hattie McDaniel for Gone With The Wind. Now her work is removed from view in the name of being anti racist?” tweeted Robby Starbuck.

HBO Max said it was “irresponsible” to broadcast Gone With the Wind without “an explanation and a denouncement” of its “racist depictions” and that the film would likely return to the platform at a later date with a “discussion of its historical context”.

Audible has yet to comment on whether it will commence digital book burnings by removing ‘controversial’ titles, but don’t be surprised to see titles start disappearing soon.

YouTube BANS ‘The Vietnamese Alex Jones’ After Obsessive John Oliver Complained

The “comedian” is obsessed with getting people he doesn’t agree with censored

YouTube has banned a radio host after English “Comedian” John Oliver described him as ‘the Vietnamese Alex Jones’.

Oliver complained on his HBO show that “While Alex Jones has been removed from YouTube for spreading misinformation,” Nguy Vu, the host of King Radio, “is still going strong on the platform despite the fact you just heard him say ‘masks are killing people,’ which clearly violates YouTube’s ban on claims that wearing a mask is dangerous.”

Oliver further whined that “Alex Jones could find his way back on to Youchube (sic) if he could just complete a Rosetta Stone course in Vietnamese.”

Oliver also described YouTube and Facebook as “screamingly screamingly bad” but added that “at least in theory they can be monitored.”

Watch:

Oliver is obsessed with getting people he doesn’t agree with censored, silenced and kicked off big tech platforms, and pitches for it in almost every “comedy” show he does.

Oliver is also obsessed with Alex Jones, even though Jones is already banned from practically every mainstream platform.

Meanwhile, he is free to spread his own ‘misinformation’ every night of the week.

TV Director Slammed For Comparing Treatment of Trans People To The HOLOCAUST

“Trans people are in the middle of a Holocaust”

A TV director who compared the attitude toward transgender people to the treatment of Jewish people during the Nazi holocaust has been roundly criticised for the comments.

The comparison was made by Joey Soloway during a protest at Netflix headquarters over Dave Chapelle’s special The Closer in which he comments on biological gender.

Soloway, who identifies as ‘nonbinary’, said that “Trans people are in the middle of a Holocaust,” further claiming they are being subjected to “apartheid, murder, a state of emergency, human rights crisis.”

“The line is simple: stop making things worse,” Soloway said, demanding that Netflix appoint a trans person to its board “this f****** week.”

The comments quickly sparked a backlash:

    And then there is this…

Chapelle himself said at a recent performance that “If this is what being canceled is like, I love it,” adding “F*** Twitter. This is real life.”

Meanwhile, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos has indicated that he has “some regrets” about the Chapelle special, particularly that he “screwed up” communicating with Netflix staff who expressed outrage about it. Sarandos clarified, however, that the special will not be removed, saying that “While some employees disagree, we have a strong belief that content on screen doesn’t directly translate to real-world harm.”
