Twitter Slaps ‘Fact Check’ Censor On Trump Tweet About ‘Rigged Election’

“Twitter is completely stifling FREE SPEECH, and I, as President, will not allow it to happen!”

President Trump warned Tuesday that the election will be ‘rigged’ by Democrats using the pandemic to justify mail-in voting, and Twitter slapped a ‘fact check’ label on the post.

“There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent,” Trump tweeted.

“This will be a Rigged Election. No way!” the president proclaimed.

Trump cited California’s governor Gavin Newsom signing an executive order to ensure all voters will receive mail ballots for the election in November.

“Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged and even illegally printed out and fraudulently signed,” Trump urged.

Lawsuits have been filed in an attempt to block the move by The Republican National Committee, National Republican Congressional Committee, and the California Republican Party.

They contend that the move to an all mail in vote system is unconstitutional.

Trump declared that Democrats will use the opportunity to lobby people into giving them their votes.

“That will be followed up with professionals telling all of these people, many of whom have never even thought of voting before, how, and for whom, to vote,” he asserted.

Trump’s tweet was subsequently ‘fact checked’ by Twitter, with the company putting a warning label below it stating “Get the facts about mail-in ballots,” with a link to a page that states “Trump falsely claimed that mail-in ballots would lead to ‘a Rigged Election.’ However, fact-checkers say there is no evidence that mail-in ballots are linked to voter fraud.”

The page on Twitter notes that “These claims are unsubstantiated, according to CNN, Washington Post and others.”

It also includes a host of tweets and posts by blue-checked leftists, some of whom make a living purely from attacking Trump relentlessly over anything and everything every day:

Aaron Rupar, for example, is an Associate editor at Vox who constantly tweets misleading clips and claims about Trump. The man is obsessed with bashing Trump every minute of every day, because ‘orange man bad’, yet here he is featured as part of Twitter’s ‘fact check’.

Jennifer Bendery is a senior politics reporter for HuffPost, another virulently leftist website. Bendery almost constantly slates Trump over everything he does and says, just look at her Twitter feed.

Abby Phillip is a white house correspondent for CNN, who previously had a run in with Trump over a question she asked about Robert Mueller at the height of the ‘Russian interference’ conspiracy.

Sam Levine is a former HuffPost correspondent who now works for The Guardian US. Leftist.

Daniel Dale is a CNN reporter, who previously worked for the Toronto Star, who literally said that ‘fact checking’ Trump has caused him to “rethink the relationship a journalist has with the truth.”

Dale’s entire existence is dedicated to countering everything Trump does, no matter what it is. If Trump farts, Dale is on hand to claim it wasn’t an accurate fart.

The list goes on.

It is blatantly obvious that Twitter is attempting to divert anyone catching Trump’s tweets toward a torrent of leftist opinion and agenda.

Twitter told CNBC that Trump’s tweets “contain potentially misleading information about voting processes and have been labeled to provide additional context around mail-in ballots.”

While Twitter has routinely slapped ‘fact checks’ on other posts, this is the first time  the company has used such a label on any Trump tweet.

Trump responded by declaring that Twitter is meddling in the election by “saying my statement on Mail-In Ballots, which will lead to massive corruption and fraud, is incorrect.”

“Twitter is completely stifling FREE SPEECH, and I, as President, will not allow it to happen!,” he added in another tweet.

Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale wedged in, charging that Twitter is trying to block Trump from reaching voters.

“We always knew that Silicon Valley would pull out all the stops to obstruct and interfere with President Trump getting his message through to voters,” Parscale urged.

“Partnering with the biased fake news media ‘fact checkers’ is only a smoke screen Twitter is using to try to lend their obvious political tactics some false credibility,” Parscale said, adding “There are many reasons the Trump campaign pulled all our advertising from Twitter months ago, and their clear political bias is one of them.”

Donald Trump Jr. also responded to the move by Twitter:

The Twitter ‘fact check’ on Trump’s posts comes just days after MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski lobbied the company to take action against Trump, after he doubled down on tweets concerning her husband and co-host, ‘psycho’ Joe Scarborough:

The move by Twitter also comes amid reports that the company’s AI tools are far from accurate when it comes to labelling posts as ‘misleading’.

Parler CEO: Establishment ‘Doesn’t Like That People Are Getting Power Again’

“It’s not against the law to express yourself.”

The CEO of Parler, the free speech supporting alternative to Twitter, explained this week why he believes his platform is coming under increasing attack from the establishment, while gaining huge amounts of users.

“People say crazy things all the time,” and “it’s not against the law to have those opinions,” John Matze told Tucker Carlson.

“I always ask them, ‘What do you think of the First Amendment? Do you believe that we should have somebody in New York, let’s say in the middle of Times Square, telling you what you can and cannot say?’” Matze continued.

“Because that’s what these companies are doing,” he added, referring to Facebook, Google and Twitter.

“I don’t know why they’re so afraid. Maybe it’s because they don’t like that people are getting power again,” Matze emphasised.

“But it’s not against the law to have those opinions,” he urged.

“It’s not against the law to express yourself. And if you like one political candidate or another, or you believe or don’t believe in climate change,” he continued, adding “you shouldn’t be taken offline because of it.”

Matze noted that his platform is “seeing is a massive explosion in growth because people trust that Parler’s going to do the right thing.”

“You’re judged by your peers just like our government allows for people. You’re innocent before proven guilty unlike these other platforms that are colluding to find things to find you guilty for,” Matze asserted.

Matze added that social media is “supposed to be about people having a free voice, being able to be liberated from restrictions.”

“That’s what we’re here to offer is a community town square for people to have discussions,” he noted.

The platform has been accused by the media of allowing ‘conspiracy theories’ to gain traction, and even of fomenting violence.

Speaking about Parler, Bret Schafer of the Alliance for Securing Democracy (a think tank dedicated to erasing any opinions that do not match their own) told The Hill that “Anytime you take a laissez-faire approach to moderation —you say ‘anything goes’ right up until actual threats of real world violence—that creates a huge space for some really problematic things to happen.”

Over the weekend, CNN resident clown Brian Stelter presented a hit list of conservative media outlets that he says are spreading “disinformation” about the election, calling for them all to be censored.

“There is an entire constellation of websites and talk shows that are in denial just like Trump,” Stelter declared while presenting a graphic listing sites such as Infowars, Breitbart, Fox News, The Daily Caller, Newsmax, and OAN.

“They are supplying disinformation about the election results, and wherever there’s a huge supply, there is a high demand,” Stelter proclaimed.

“Fox has never seen competition like this,” the host added, claiming “There is demand for a fictional universe…. Reliable news sources are mostly moving on to cover President-elect Biden. There is an entire constellation of websites and talk shows that are in denial just like Trump.”

Watch:

Commenting on the leftist surge toward censorship of any opinion in contradiction to their own, journalist Glenn Greenwald noted Monday that “There is no question that Democrats are gearing up to use their new power to apply far more pressure than ever on Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc. to censor any views they deem ‘threatening.’”

“Please look at what is going here,” Greenwald added, noting “Democrats are defining whoever opposes them not as adversaries but as national security threats, fascist terrorists, etc. — all to justify blocking them from the internet using their influence with Silicon Valley.”

Greenwald urged that CNN, NBC, and The Atlantic are “most loudly” demanding “disinformation” be censored, despite the fact that they are “the ones who not only sold the bullshit of the Iraq War but also the last 4 years of deranged Russia-took-over! conspiratorial insanity.”

“They want their discourse monopoly back,” Greenwald urged.

Video: Are Phone Networks Now Censoring Links About Election Fraud?

Twitter video shows URL’s remaining undelivered.

A video posted to Twitter shows a woman attempting to send a URL about alleged vote fraud to an iPhone but the message going undelivered, prompting claims that phone networks are now censoring links.

“BREAKING: Messages about election fraud are being censored via text message,” claims the woman. “Here is 100% proof! GEyesgle Green apple or Verizon or all are the culprit. More testing is needed to figure out which company(s) is censoring text messages about the fraud! We have hit peak level censorship!”

The clip shows her sending normal text messages from an Android phone to an iPhone, but when she attempts to send a link about alleged vote fraud from thedonald.win website, the message is not delivered to the iPhone, despite the Android phone saying it had been delivered.

The woman is then able to send an edited version of the link that isn’t a direct URL to the iPhone, but when she attempts to send it back from the iPhone to the Android phone with the URL active, the message is not delivered.

“Imagine if the phone company could just end your call because of the content of your conversation! Or if they could remove links because of th….oh…shit,” commented one respondent.

The other explanation is that the phone company or Google could just be censoring all links from thedonald.win.

As we previously reported, back in August Republican Congressional candidate Laura Loomer accused Comcast and its subsidiary Xfinity of banning her from sending out texts and emails to voters.

Loomer explained how Comcast in Palm Beach County has banned her campaign from sending out communications to voters by labeling them “dangerous content” and not delivering the messages.
