ABC’s Chief News Correspondent Tries to ‘Mask Shame’ John Roberts, Gets Owned

Well, this is awkward.

Published

ABC’s Chief News Correspondent Jonathan Karl tried to ‘mask shame’ Fox News’ John Roberts, only for someone to point out to Karl that he didn’t wear a mask when he was out in public last week.

“Almost everybody in the Rose Garden is wearing a mask — almost everybody,” tweeted Karl, along with four images of news reporters in the Rose Garden all wearing masks apart from Roberts.

However, Roberts was in fact in possession of a mask and had only briefly removed it.

But that wasn’t the most embarrassing comeback aimed at Karl. Turns out he’s been in an even more public area while failing to wear a mask.

“You didn’t wear a mask on Cinco de Mayo to pick up your tacos from Mi Vida. Why not?” asked Luke Mahoney.

“Is there a different standard for the media? Are there some places we have to wear masks and others we don’t?”

This is more proof that mask wearers are wearing the face coverings as a status symbol to signal their own virtue, allowing them to judge people who choose not to wear masks, while their own behavior proves them to be total hypocrites who don’t actually care about spreading the virus.

Meanwhile, another reporter wearing a mask removed it while asking President Trump a question, defeating the whole purpose of wearing the mask.

Poll: 15% of Americans Think Mask Mandates Will Remain For Years or ‘Indefinitely’

Majority think they’ll remain for at least 6 months.

A new Rasmussen poll finds that 15 per cent of Americans think mask mandates will remain in place for years or even ‘indefinitely’, with a majority believing they will have to cover up for at least another 6 months.

Participants were asked, “How much longer will Americans be required to wear masks in public places? Less than six months, Six months to a year, At least 18 months, For the next couple of years, or Indefinitely?”

58 per cent said they think they’ll be required to wear masks in public for at least another six months, while 25 per cent of that figure believes the mandates will go on for 18 months or longer.

49 per cent of respondents also said that even those who are vaccinated should still wear masks.

Many believe that mask mandates will linger for significantly longer despite also being confident that the U.S. is winning the war on the virus.

Half of respondents said that this was the case compared to 26 per cent who are pessimistic about the spread of COVID ending any time soon.

As the video below illustrates, Americans have been brainwashed to such an extent that even the widespread uptake of the vaccine hasn’t changed their view that the masks should remain on.

This is partly a result of people believing constant media fearmongering and vastly overexaggerating the risk of the virus.

A survey by research firm Kekst CNC released last summer found that on average, people in the U.S. thought 9 per cent of the population, around 30 million people, had died from coronavirus when the actual figure at the time was less than 155,000.

This meant that Americans thought COVID-19 had filled 225 times more victims than the actual number of fatalities.

Data out of Texas, Florida and South Dakota shows that after mask mandates ended, COVID cases, hospitalizations and deaths dropped off rapidly, while remaining significantly higher in blue states with draconian mask mandates.

Masks have also undoubtedly become a tool of virtue signaling used by narcissists to broadcast the fact they’re “good people” while also acting as a conduit for the attempt to signal high-value consensus status.

As we highlighted last month, despite signs that the coronavirus pandemic is coming to an end, health experts are still insisting that mask mandates remain for the foreseeable future.

Lecturer Dr. David Thunder Ph.D warns that this is part of the conditioning process whereby governments will re-introduce lockdown measures at the drop of a hat under the justification of responding to a harsh flu season.

“This nightmare will not be over until citizens push back and say enough is enough,” said Thunder.

Lecturer Warns Lockdown Restrictions Will Return Whenever There’s a Harsh Flu Season

“This is not over until we say it is.”

Lecturer Dr. David Thunder Ph.D warns that governments have now set the precedent for draconian lockdown measures to be re-introduced at the drop of a hat every time there is a harsh flu season.

In a video clip, Thunder, a university lecturer and researcher in moral, political, and social philosophy, says that COVID will now recede across the western hemisphere due to seasonal variation and naturally acquired immunity.

However, he cautions that this in no way means an end to the restrictions brought in under the justification of fighting the pandemic and that governments will begin to treat basic rights enjoyed by citizens as privileges granted to them by the state.

“Governments will attempt to take credit for the lull in COVID infections and hospitalizations, they will claim we are only able to open up and return to some semblance of normality because of their draconian restrictions on social life, they will suggest that our enjoyment of normal life is due to their wise stewardship of the pandemic and their graciousness in relaxing restrictions,” said Thunder, adding that “they will conveniently ignore the fact” that countries like Sweden and states like Florida and Texas, which never fully locked down, showed similar patterns in the remission of COVID-19.

Thunder says that most people will “take whatever breadcrumbs of normality fall from the table of their captors” and think that by continuing to submit to full conformity, life will eventually return to pre-COVID regularity.

“But make no mistake about it, this nightmare will not be over until citizens push back and say enough is enough,” said Thunder. “Governments are now armed with a powerful excuse to suspend citizens’ civil liberties whenever there’s a winter resurgence in respiratory viruses.”

“A harsh flu season will be enough to set in motion the wheels of tyranny – threatening people’s jobs, businesses, mental and physical health, freedom of movement, and freedom of association,” added Thunder, asserting that the only way to end this is to resist and refuse to comply with lockdown mandates.

“This is not over until we say it is,” concludes Thunder.

Despite all social distancing measures supposedly being lifted on June 21st in the UK, numerous pro-lockdown scientists are already laying the groundwork for mask wearing and other measures to become permanent.

“I think we’ll re-impose masking in the winter on crowded indoor spaces. It has the benefit of reducing flu,” said Professor James Naismith of Oxford University.

His sentiments were echoed by Professor Paul Hunter of East Anglia University, who said masks would continue to be required on public transport and in other settings even after the pandemic is over.

“You Still Aren’t Vaxxed, Debra!” City of Baltimore Mocked Over Public Information Campaign

Jab ad resembles domestic abuse warning.

The City of Baltimore was mocked over a public information campaign encouraging people to get vaccinated before they could socialize, with some comparing the promo to a domestic abuse PSA.

The ad shows a disgruntled looking woman being told by her controlling boyfriend, “Mimosa with the girls? You still aren’t vaxxed, Debra!”

“Mimosas with the girls this weekend? It’s a bad idea if you haven’t been vaxxed,” states the tweet accompanying the image from the Baltimore City Health Department.

Twitter users pointed out that the ad resembles a poster for a woman’s refuge, portraying Debra’s domestic situation with her boyfriend as if she is a victim of domestic abuse.

Others questioned why the city was targeting the sparse demographic of “the three rich white women who live in that city.”

Others simply labeled the campaign “idiotic” or “weird.”
