San Antonio City Council Passes Resolution Declaring “Chinese Virus” to be “Hate Speech”

Encourages citizens to report people who use terms to the authorities.

Published

San Antonio City Council has unanimously passed a resolution that declares the terms “Chinese Virus” and “Kung Flu Virus” to be hate speech.

President Trump and many of his supporters have used variations of both terms as a reminder that COVID-19 did indeed originate in China.

This prompted the media and leftists to claim Trump was being “racist” despite the fact that viruses are routinely named after their place of origin.

Now San Antonio City Council has officially declared such language to be “hate speech.”

“Resolution being voted on by San Antonio City Council this morning labels terms “Chinese Virus” and “Kung Fu Virus” as hate speech and “all persons are encouraged to report any such antisemitic, discriminatory or racist incidents to the proper authorities for investigation,” tweeted reporter Jaie Avila.

Apparently, a regular council meeting attendee called Jack Finger tried to speak against the resolution, but his mic was cut off.

Council Member Manny Pelaez said “hate speech is more dangerous than the virus itself,” despite the fact that the virus has killed over 76,000 Americans.

The resolution was passed unanimously. Expect similar versions of it to now be passed by councils across the country.

In taking such a stance, authorities are literally amplifying Chinese Communist Party propaganda, which has repeatedly cried “racism” when confronted with the fact that Beijing tried to cover-up the severity of coronavirus when it first emerged in Wuhan.

Video: COVID Cops Try To Break Into Gym As Owner Continues To Use It During Lockdown

Owner vows to take legal action; “This is for all of us business owners fighting back now, we can’t take this nonsense any more”

Pathetic police attempted to raid a CLOSED gym in London after they received reports that people were still using it. Now the owner is vowing to take legal action after it emerged that only he was inside.

Under draconian lockdown restrictions, gyms have all had to close for a second time in the UK, so James Cooper, who owns Body Transformation in Hampstead, north London was the only person using the facilities.

He was amazed when he looked remotely at the security cameras and saw that police had showed up outside and attempted to gain entry for around one hour.

Footage from security cameras shows police banging on the door and trying to look inside. Eventually, one officer went around the back of the building and appeared to tamper with a key box secured to the gym wall.

Mr Cooper told the Daily Mail that he believes this was an attempt to gain access to his property without a warrant.

Cooper says he will take the matter to court, telling reporters “The police made a very big mistake trying to break into my property.”

“I will be taking them to court over this, they messed with the wrong person, I’ve simply had enough of this,” Cooper, who trains several British celebrity clients, added.

“This is for all of us business owners fighting back now, we can’t take this nonsense any more,” he further urged.

“You can’t break into someone’s premises, no one was in danger inside, the place was empty, what right do they have to try and break in?” Cooper asked.

“I was at home watching them banging on my doors and trying to get in by getting access to my key box,” Cooper noted, adding “I can hear them saying they don’t have a warrant because my system records sound as well.”

“I’m just not going to put up with this any more,” Cooper asserted, adding “What has the world come to that seven officers spend an hour of their time standing around my gym?”

“Surely they have better things to do with their time in a big city like London,” Cooper said, noting that he “built that business from the ground up,” and isn’t going to let busybodies ruin it.

“I’ve put all my investment into my business and I’m not going to sit back and let them try to destroy it,” Cooper emphasised.

The London Metropolitan Police have not commented on the case at time of writing.

Video: Elvis Impersonator’s Solo House Party Crashed by Cops

He was all shook up after those fools rushed in.

An Elvis impersonator in the UK was left all shook up after fools rushed in to his house despite the fact that the man appeared to be lonesome.

The clip shows the man wearing headphones singing along to an Elvis track with his back turned to the door.

As soon as he sees someone walk in behind him, the man dashes to confront the intruder, only to realize that he is a masked police officer.

After shouting at the man to turn off the music, another two police officers enter the room.

“What the fuck! Fuck off! You come in my house so I fucking went for you!” exclaims the man.

A female police officer tells him that cops have been trying to get into his house for 20 minutes.

Some speculated that the cops were investigating a noise complaint while others suggested they were enforcing COVID rules that ban gatherings of people indoors. “I had my ear fucking phones on going fucking live you dickheads,” the man responds.

The confrontation appeared to leave the man crying like a hound dog.

All joking aside, under UK law police are not allowed to enter homes without a warrant unless they suspect there is a gathering at which a person infected with COVID is spreading the virus.

The man appeared to be completely alone, meaning he hadn’t violated any coronavirus law.

England remains under full lockdown until Wednesday next week, at which point a more draconian tier system is being re-introduced which for many areas represent another lockdown in everything but name.

As we previously highlighted, police in some areas of the country previously indicated that they wouldn’t hesitate to break up Christmas family gatherings if they were in violation of COVID rules.

Some respondents to the clip made Elvis jokes, but others didn’t see the funny side.

“We can gloss over this like it’s nothing or we can realise how shockingly incredible this is,” said one.

“I honestly dont recognise the UK anymore, cant believe in only 9 months we’ve come to this,” added another.

Others defended the actions of the police, asserting that the man is a known nuisance to his neighbors.

UK Travel Agency Boycotts Qantas Over ‘No Vaccine, No Flight’ Policy

“There is a huge difference between coercion and making a free choice.”

A UK travel agency has announced it will be boycotting Australian airline Qantas over its ‘no vaccine, no flight’ policy, saying travelers should have freedom of choice.

Last week, Qantas CEO Alan Joyce announced the airline would implement a policy barring anyone who has not had the COVID-19 vaccine from using their service.

“We are looking at changing our terms and conditions to say, for international travelers, that we will ask people to have a vaccination before they can get on the aircraft,” he said.

This policy has since been backed up by Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who said passengers who didn’t take the vaccine before entering Australia would be subject to two weeks quarantine.

Other airlines such as Korean Air have also signaled they will require vaccination, while the industry in general appears to be moving towards a digital ‘Common Pass’ that will carry details of vaccination status.

However, the backlash has already begun, with one travel agent in the UK announcing a blanket boycott of Qantas over its vaccine policy.

Tradewinds Travel posted a statement on their website asserting that “bodily autonomy with regard to medical intervention is a personal choice and not something to be forced onto people by businesses.”

“We are not anti-vaccination but we are pro-choice. There is a huge difference between coercion and making a free choice,” says the statement.

The company also noted how Qantas “code share(s) flights with Emirates” to the far east and that Emirates has not announced it will follow the same policy, prompting the question, “We wonder if this has been discussed with Emirates prior to the announcement by Qantas?”

“Never before in the history of aviation has there been a requirement to have an injection before boarding a plane,” the statement adds. “If Australia as a nation makes the decision to not allow entry to people without a vaccination then that is within their rights, and people can make an informed choice as to whether they wish to visit the country. But it is not up to an airline to enforce this upon customers.”

The company said it had received “much support” over its stance.

In a related development, European airliner Ryanair has signaled that it will not require fliers to take a coronavirus shot before allowing them to travel.

Chief executive Eddie Wilson pointed out that mandating a vaccine would be pointless since people can travel between different European countries by car or train.

“With short haul and freedom of movement of people in Europe… I think we’ll see an entirely different landscape come spring and early summer, not really relevant for short haul and European travel,” said Wilson.

“In Paris, if you were to choose no vaccination… you’d just get a train instead,” he added.
