Spain: €2,000 Fine For “Disrespecting” a Police Officer During Lockdown

€10,400 fine for participating in a social gathering.

Amidst an investigation into the question of whether Spain’s draconian lockdown laws are constitutional, people are being fined a whopping €2,000 euros for “disrespecting” a police officer.

Unlike other European countries, people in Spain aren’t even allowed to go out to exercise during the coronavirus quarantine.

Citizens are only allowed to visit their nearest grocery store and only one person can be in a vehicle at a time unless the other person is classed as “vulnerable” or there is a medical emergency.

The lockdown is enforced via a network of roadblocks at which drivers are quizzed as to their intentions by aggressive police, some of whom carry guns. A physiotherapist was hit with a €600 euro fine for going to see a client after police stopped him when he was driving home.

The €2,000 euro fine for “disrespecting” a police officer is obviously completely arbitrary and easily open to abuse as a form of revenue generation.

“The guidelines state a standard €601 penalty for unauthorized movement outside the home without good reason that can be increased to up to €2000 if the offender responds with an “inappropriate attitude” to law enforcement officers, reports the Local.

People who cannot provide identification to police are fined €700 euros, while a trip to a second home earns a €1500 euro fine. The biggest fine – a gargantuan €10,400 euros – is reserved for anyone who attempts to “to organize or participate in a gathering, party or celebration.”

According to journalist Jason O’Toole, who is locked down in Madrid, tensions are “running high” and people are now being arrested for going out “too frequently” to the grocery shop.

This has prompted some judges, solicitors, law professors, and NGOs to complain that the onerous fines are “unconstitutional.”

“There’s an investigation now underway by the Defensor del Pueblo (Spanish Ombudsman) to see if the fines are “correct and proportional,” because they want to “protect the rights of the citizens.” It’s a move that has even been welcomed by La Abogacia del Estado,” writes O’Toole.

“The Ministry of Justice is now questioning whether the fines are legally sound and says it’s possible many cases could be thrown out of court on a technicality. They say, for example, those apprehended might get off scot-free if the police didn’t first give them a formal warning – like a yellow card in football.”

Sniffer Dogs Could Be Used to Detect if Someone is Infected With COVID

Will patrol airports and other public venues.

Sniffer dogs that can detect if someone is infected with COVID-19 could be used to patrol public areas such as airports and other busy venues in the near future.

Health minister Lord Bethell praised an “extremely exciting” trial taking place in the UK that tests whether dogs can be trained to identify unique odours associated with the coronavirus infection.

With Finland having already deployed corona-sniffing dogs at its main international airport, similar measures could soon be rolled out across the west.

UK Secretary of State Matt Hancock, an ardent lockdown advocate, will visit the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine to see for himself the accuracy of the tests.

“Dogs can be used as a way of screening crowds in places like airports and high-density venues,” said Lord Bethell.

And there you were thinking you’d just have to tolerate masks, mandatory government apps and vaccines to get about in the “new normal”.

As we previously highlighted, robots are already being rolled out to monitor mask compliance, while robot dogs in Singapore are already patrolling parks and other public spaces to enforce social distancing.

Health Expert: Mask Wearing Will Remain Mandatory Even After a COVID Vaccine

The new normal is a muzzled population.

A top doctor who served as an expert witness for the U.S. Congress says that even after a COVID-19 vaccine is available, mask wearing and other social distancing measures will remain mandatory.

“I feel like there is this perception that once we have a #CoronavirusVaccine life will go back to normal,” tweeted Dr.Krutika Kuppalli.

“Life will not be like it was pre-COVID. Even after we have a #vaccine you will still need to use good hand hygiene, maintain physical distance, avoid crowds and wear masks,” she added.

As we have repeatedly highlighted, despite the original lockdown and social distancing rules being introduced on the basis of ‘getting back to normal’, we’re now being told life will never return to normal.

In a CNN article written by their international security editor Nick Paton Walsh, the author asserted that the mandatory wearing of masks will become “permanent,” “just part of life,” and that the public would need to “come to terms with it.”

Earlier this month, a senior U.S. Army official said that there’ll probably never be a return to “normal” post-COVID and that rules such as social distancing and mask wearing will likely become permanent.

Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates also warned that the world won’t return to normal until there is widespread take up of a second coronavirus vaccine and that this could take years.

The idea that life will never return to pre-corona normality is also being pushed by globalist bodies like the World Economic Forum, which has promoted the necessity of exploiting the pandemic to implement a “great reset.”

Welsh Government Now Appears To Have Banned Book Sales

Thousands of angry citizens sign petition to end ‘farcical’ lockdown measures

Footage and pictures of Welsh supermarkets and shops cordoning off entire areas with items deemed to be “non-essential” continued to flood social media over the weekend, as it appears the government there has now even banned books.

Following the implementation of a full national lockdown in the British country, people began sharing their experiences as they attempted to go shopping:

The confusion over what is and isn’t “essential” has angered people, after cooking, clothes and bedding sections were covered in plastic sheeting, but Halloween tat was left untouched:

Angry citizens have begun taking measures into their own hands:

Residents of Wales are currently under a ‘Tier 3’ lockdown, which means people are being urged to stay at home, must not visit other households, while pubs, restaurants, gyms, churches and shops deemed “non-essential” are all closed.

But now, it appears the farce has taken a dark turn, with books and writing materials being banned:

What is and isn’t deemed ‘essential’ is now completely up in the air as ministers have said people should be allowed to buy ‘otherwise non-essential goods’ if there were ‘exceptional circumstances’ that meant they were essential:

Some supermarkets have given up, and admitted that they are letting customers decide what is and isn’t essential.

Some residents are still trying to see the lighter side:

For may it has already gone too far, however with thousands signing a petition to drop the draconian measures.

The petition to the Welsh government states: “We do not agree that this is a prudent or rational measure, and will create more harm than good.”

“We do not agree for example that parents should be barred from buying clothes for their children during lockdown while out shopping. This is disproportionate and cruel and we ask that the decision be reversed immediately,” the petition adds.

At time of writing the petition has over 63,000 signatures.
