Man Who Featured in 5 Person Polyamorous Relationship Charged With Child Abuse
Infant suffered broken leg, arm and skull fractures during vicious attack.

A man who featured as one of the four male partners in a polyamorous relationship with a pregnant woman that received media attention in December has been charged with aggravated child abuse after the 5-week-old baby suffered multiple severe injuries.
22-year-old Ethan Baucom was one of the individuals shown in a Barcroft TV production which told the story of 20-year-old Tory Ojeda sharing her Jacksonville, Fla. with three of her four partners, including Baucom.
Ojeda revealed that she was marrying one of the men in the house, Travis, but that the father of her baby was another partner called Christopher.
“We’re all raising the baby together — so everyone’s Dad,” Ojeda said. “We’re all very, very excited to be raising a baby together.”
Christopher said he was looking forward to sharing father responsibilities with the other men in the house, commenting, “There is a lot of support between all of us dads and it’s something we can tag team.”
It has now been revealed that one of those men, Ethan Baucom, admitted to physically abusing the 5-week-old baby while babysitting the infant.
According to reports, the baby suffered a “broken leg, arm, ribs and skull fractures.”
The police report also reveals that Baucom, who told officers he needed to tell the truth,” heard a “pop” during the incident, which occurred on March 12th.

He told police he was “frustrated” at his inability to get any sleep during the babysitting and that this was the reason for carrying out the assault, further details of which are redacted in the official police report.
Authorities got involved when officers were called to a hospital on March 15 and told about the baby’s severe injuries as well as the the fact the infant had suffered “multiple brain bleeds.” Experts concluded the baby had been attacked at least three separate times.
The baby’s mother called the Florida Department of Children and Families five days after the incident took place. Baucom told her he had merely “squeezed” the child.
“I am so distraught that words cannot describe,” said the baby’s grandmother in response to the incident. “Oh the horror of all this! I’m so overwhelmed with pain, heartache and sorrow over this.”
The baby is expected to make a full recovery with no permanent damage. Baucom is now in jail.

Houston Taco Joint Shooting Was Justified Self-Defense And D.A. Should NOT Have Sent Case to Grand Jury, Legal Expert Says
The shooting appears to be justified.

Fox News Digital on Thursday spoke with a Houston criminal defense attorney who said that the hero customer who shot and killed an armed robber at a local taco joint last week was completely justified and District Attorney Kim Ogg should not have sent the case to a grand jury.

An armed robbery suspect was shot dead by an armed customer in a Houston taqueria last week in a shooting that one criminal defense attorney in the area told Fox News Digital appears to have been justified under Texas law.
“A person is justified in using force against another person when and to the degree he or she reasonably believes force is immediately necessary to protect him against the other person’s use of force,” Houston criminal defense attorney Sean Buckley told Fox News Digital regarding Texas law and how it relates to a controversial shooting captured on video last weekend of an armed robber being shot dead by a customer in a Houston restaurant.
[…] Under Texas law, Buckley told Fox News Digital, the shooting appears to be justified and is “presumed to be reasonable in the case of an armed robbery.”
“Deadly force is permissible to prevent an armed robbery, which was still ongoing. I think what’s important to keep in mind is that just because this armed robber was heading out of the restaurant did not mean that the threat was over.”Buckley said armed robbers in Houston will oftentimes shoot people indiscriminately and for no reason at all and that the threat was “still alive” since the aggravated robbery was still in progress as the robber walked out with the customers’ money.
[…] “The law of self-defense, as broad as it is in Texas, is only as good as the officials who apply it,” Buckley told Fox News Digital. “There’s no need for a grand jury here. These prosecutors could easily make a determination on their own.”
“This was clearly self-defense or otherwise a justifiable use of deadly force and they should make that decision and not pass the buck.”
Buckley says the decision to send the case to a grand jury, in his opinion, is an example of prosecutors “undervaluing” citizens’ rights to defend themselves.
“Particularly when you have a liberal progressive administration like the one in Harris County, you have people who are second guessing the legislature’s rules and applying them in the way that they see fit, according to their individual philosophies.”
Houston District Attorney Kim Ogg, whose campaign was financially backed by the network of progressive billionaire George Soros, has faced criticism for implementing what some believe are soft-on-crime policies.
This perfectly backs up my own lay analysis of the case.
Ogg knows grand juries can indict a ham sandwich and she knows Houston juries can find innocent men guilty but she refused to make the right decision and defend the victim’s right to self-defense because she is a Black Lives Matter supporter who is funded by George Soros.

Hero Customer Who Shot Armed Robber at Houston Taco Joint Ordered to Face Grand Jury by Soros-Funded D.A.
The Soros-funded prosecutor let the career criminal he put down out on bond.

The hero customer who shot and killed an armed robber at a Houston taco joint last week has been ordered to face a grand jury by District Attorney Kim Ogg, the Soros-funded prosecutor who appears to have let the career criminal he put down out on bond.
WATCH:
A grand jury will decide whether an armed taqueria customer, who shot and killed a robber last week in southwest Houston and is now being hailed a hero, will be criminally charged.
Investigators said the 46-year-old customer, who police have not identified because he’s not under arrest, turned himself in and is cooperating with detectives.
Fortunately, our hero hired an attorney to defend himself and exercised his right to remain silent.
His lawyer put out the following statement:
“My client, who wishes to remain anonymous, was dining with a friend at El Ranchito Taqueria and as it has been seen on video, a robbery suspect entered the restaurant, and pointed a weapon at my client and the other customers demanding money. In fear of his life and his friend’s life my client acted to protect everyone in the restaurant.
In Texas, a shooting is justified in self-defense, defense of others and in defense of property. The customer has met with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and Investigators with HPD homicide. He fully intends to continue cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
When the investigation is complete, this case will be presented to a Grand Jury. We are confident that a Grand Jury will conclude that the shooting was justified under Texas Law. This event has been very traumatic, taking a human life is something he does not take lightly and will burden him for the rest of his life. For that reason, he wishes to remain anonymous. Due to the overwhelming coverage, we ask the media and the public to respect his privacy.”
The thug he shot was a career criminal who should have been locked up in prison, KTRK reports:
On Monday, the medical examiner identified 30-year-old Eric Eugene Washington as the robbery suspect who was killed.
Records show Washington had an extensive criminal history and was out on bond during the would-be robbery.
Records show that in 2015, Washington was convicted on a lesser charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and sentenced to 15 years in prison in connection to the shooting death of 62-year-old Hamid Waraich, a cell phone store owner. Houston police also charged two other men.
According to records, Washington was released on parole in 2021 and charged with assaulting his girlfriend in December 2022.
Waraich had a fiancée and three sons who reacted strongly when contacted by ABC13.
“If the guy who sopped Eric was around 10 years ago, maybe I’d still have my dad,” Aman Waraich, the son of the store clerk that was killed, said.
“Eric was an evil criminal that took joy in harassing and robbing innocent families. The individual at the taqueria is a true hero!” Sean Waraich, the victim’s other son, added. “He did the right thing in stopping the robber and in protecting the community from a dangerous perpetrator.”
WATCH:
Our hero never would have even been put in this position if Kim Ogg actually locked criminals up rather than kneel before them.
This is a clear-cut case of self-defense but you never know how a jury will rule in the Black Lives Matter era.
