Big Three Networks to Air ‘One World Global Citizen’ Coronavirus Benefit Concert

The Live Aid of cringe.

NGO Global Citizen has teamed up with CBS, ABC and NBC to broadcast a “One World: Together at Home” concert that will air on more than a dozen cable channels as well as radio and YouTube later this month.

The concert is set to take place on Saturday April 18 and will feature performances from numerous big ticket artists with all the proceeds going to the World Health Organization.

According to CNN’s Brian Stelter, the event will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert.

“As we honor and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, ‘One World: Together At Home’ aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19. Through music, entertainment and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else’s,” Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evan said in a statement.

CNN reports that performers will include “Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves and Keith Urban.”

The fact that the money raised is all going to the World Health Organization may raise eyebrows given that the WHO has repeatedly amplified Chinese fake news about COVID-19, such as the claim made on January 14 that there was no “human-to human” transmission of the disease.

The WHO also ordered countries over and over again not to impose border controls early on that could have helped prevent the spread of the virus in order to stop to “stigmatization” of Chinese people.

Respondents to what some are calling “the Live Aid of cringe” were not overly enthusiastic.

“What kind of globalist nightmare is this?” asked Jon Miller. “Big Three networks ALL airing the exact same content to promote “One World”? They are using this disease to rebuild the world. If we don’t have a counter vision to promote just as relentlessly, our movement dies.”

Another Twitter user said the concert was just another platform for narcissistic talk show hosts who “won’t leave us the fuck alone.”

“I can think of a thousand things I would rather do that watch that,” said Mark Schneider. Here are my top three – 1. Have my fingernails removed with pliers 2. Have a limb (or two) cut off with a dull and rusty saw 3. Actually get and subsequently die from #COVID?19″

Others said the concert wasn’t diverse enough, with one commenting, “Ugh, three white men co-hosting. This is not representative of “One World.”

New Zealand Goes Into Lockdown After Just Four New Cases of Coronavirus

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has ordered parts of the country to go into lockdown after just four new cases of coronavirus, the country’s first in 102 days.

“The infected people are from the same family in south Auckland,” reports ABC News.

Ardern’s response to four people from the same family being infected was to order a three day “level three” lockdown of Auckland while the rest of the country will go into a level two lockdown.

Under level three restrictions, travel into Auckland is suspended while people will be asked to stay at home as businesses, bars, restaurants and schools all close.

The total coronavirus death toll for New Zealand amounts to just 22 people. That’s right, 22 people, over the course of the entire pandemic.

“Yep, we have cases! All four of them,” writes a resident in a message posted on LockdownSkeptics.org. “Who’d have predicted that maintaining pristine isolation of NZ from the rest of the world couldn’t be maintained forever? Announced at 9pm tonight and enacted by midday tomorrow. Precisely and exactly as bizarre and arbitrary as the recent flip-flops in UK policy.”

If the Kiwis copy their close neighbors Australia, expect enforcement of the new lockdown measures to be draconian in nature.

Aussies in the state of Victoria have been subjected to an 8pm to 5am curfew and numerous videos have already emerged of police violently arresting people for violating it, including one case where a woman was put in a chokehold.

Wuhan Lab Complains That it is Being Scapegoated For Coronavirus Spread

Lab director says facility has been “subject to unwarranted or malicious accusations.”

The director of the Wuhan Institute of Virology has complained that scientists at the facility are being made scapegoats in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview with NBC news Monday, the level 4 bio lab’s director Wang Yany and vice director Yuan Zhiming said that the lab has been unfairly made the centre of dangerous ‘conspiracy theories’, following US intelligence suggestions that it could have been the origin for the viral spread.

“It is unfortunate that we have been targeted as a scapegoat for the origin of the virus,” Wang said, adding that “Any person would inevitably feel very angry or misunderstood being subject to unwarranted or malicious accusations while carrying out research and related work in the fight against the virus.”

“I have repeatedly emphasized that it was on Dec. 30 that we got contact with the samples of SARS-like pneumonia or pneumonia of unknown cause sent from the hospital,” Yuan added

“We have not encountered the novel coronavirus before that, and without this virus, there is no way that it is leaked from the lab,” the scientist claimed.

However, it previously emerged that the lab had held a coronavirus sample that was 96.2 per cent the same as Covid-19 for almost a decade. This prompted the speculation about the origin of the virus.

Several prominent researchers and scientists have also noted that the lab must be investigated given this fact.

In addition, previous reports have suggested that the Institute took a shipment of some of the world’s deadliest pathogens just weeks before the outbreak of the coronavirus. It is also known that the lab was tampering with natural pathogens and mutating them to become more infectious.

Intelligence figures across the globe have also called for the Wuhan lab to be investigated.

Chinese virologists recently fled Hong Kong and effectively defected to the West with evidence against the Chinese Communist Party concerning its role in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The WHO previously complained that it had ‘not been invited’ by China to investigate the outbreak, and has continually been criticised for propping up Communist Party talking points.

Last month the WHO announced that it will not be visiting the Wuhan Institute of Virology during its investigation into the origins of the coronavirus, despite the evidence outlined above.

In Sweden, Where There Was No Lockdown, COVID Cases & Deaths Have Slowed to a Trickle

Death rate lower than Spain, the UK and Italy – economy in better shape.

Xinhua News Agency/Getty Images

Confounding claims by many that its open society approach to coronavirus would spectacularly backfire, Sweden, which didn’t enforce any mandatory lockdown order, has seen its coronavirus cases and deaths slow to a trickle.

Back in March, when Sweden announced that it would adopt a different approach to much of the rest of the world by refusing to shut down its economy and instead aim for herd immunity, public health experts and media commentators were aghast at the decision, warning that the country’s hospitals would be overwhelmed with COVID victims.

Summing up the attitude towards Sweden’s approach, Danish journalist Lisbeth Davidsen said it was “like watching a horror movie.”

Fast forward five months and the horror show predicted by many has completely failed to materialize.

While fears of a “second wave” of coronavirus continue to plague other European countries that completely locked down and enforced draconian face mask rules, Sweden has recorded barely a trickle of COVID cases and deaths so far in August.

Jordan Schachtel drills into the numbers;

null

In August, Sweden has registered just one death (!) with/from the coronavirus. Yes, you read that correctly. One death so far.

For the month of July, Sweden reported 226 deaths. They’ve accounted for 805 June deaths, 1646 in May, and 2572 in April. The deaths attributed to COVID-19 went from about a 50% reduction to falling off of a cliff.

The story is the same in the hospitals. COVID-19 is hardly registering as a blip on the radar. Sweden has reported just 4 new COVID-19 patients in their ICUs in August. The month of July saw only 52 COVID-19 patients in ICUs.

It doesn’t take a math whiz to come to the conclusion that the epidemic appears to have been wrapped up in Sweden for months. It’s unclear whether this is a result of having achieved the herd immunity threshold, or if the seasonality of the virus is providing indefinite relief. But it’s become absolutely clear that Sweden’s long term pandemic strategy is working.

Asserting that “there is no evidence anywhere in the world that lockdowns or masks have *stopped* the spread of the virus,” Schachtel notes how public health experts “disregarding hundreds of years of proven science on herd immunity” who mandated lockdowns are responsible for the economic catastrophe which the world will now suffer.

As Newsweek acknowledged last week, Sweden’s COVID-19 death rate is lower than those of Spain, the UK and Italy, countries which all imposed lockdowns.

Sweden’s GDP fall of 8.6 in Q2 2020 is also significantly less severe than the 12.1 average experienced in the Eurozone, leaving the Scandinavian country in “much better shape than the rest of Europe.”

As we highlighted yesterday, the lockdowns will plunge at least a hundred million people into extreme poverty.

Add the deaths caused by this to those caused by untreated cancers and other illnesses and we’re looking at deaths caused by lockdown easily outstripping those officially attributed to coronavirus.

So what was the point of lockdown?
