Adviser to Trump Warns: If Dems Win in November, “They’re Going to Crush Fox News”

Censorship debate rages as Twitter forced Laura Ingraham to delete tweet about FDA approved drug.

A top Fox News personality and adviser to President Trump has warned that if the White House does nothing to roll back censorship, if the Democrats win in November, “they’re going to crush Fox News.”

Speaking privately to Summit, the host was responding to news that fellow Fox commentator Laura Ingraham had been forced under threat of suspension to delete a tweet about the drug Hydroxychloroquine being a potential cure for coronavirus.

“Lenox Hill in New York among many hospitals already using Hydroxychloroquine with very promising results,” Ingraham tweeted on March 20. “One patient was described as ‘Lazarus’ who was seriously ill from Covid-19, already released.”

Ten days later, Twitter forced Ingraham to delete the tweet under threat of suspension, despite the fact that Hydroxychloroquine has been approved by the FDA and has proven successful at treating COVID-19 in several studies.

Twitter claimed that the tweet triggered their “misleading information policy” with its “Heightened-risk health claims.”

“The real test: How many “journalists” who have dismissed hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin in COVID patients would say no to taking it themselves if seriously ill?” Ingraham asked earlier today.

As one Twitter user pointed out, while censoring tweets about an approved drug, Twitter is perfectly happy to let Chinese propaganda continue to circulate.

This occurred on the same day that Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro had his tweets deleted for questioning whether social distancing and quarantine measures were an overreaction.

Infowars’ Google Play store app was also banned last week for the same reason.

The Fox News host and presidential adviser said all this once again illustrated how the left and social media giants have been emboldened by the Trump administration’s lack of action on censorship and that this could spell disaster come the election.

“If Democrats win in November, they’re going to crush Fox News just as they’ve crushed the NRA. And we’re going to deeply regret letting it happen,” said the adviser.

“Everyone who thought it was fine that they deplatformed Alex Jones will look like a fucking moron,” he added.

Twitter To Warn Users When They Like A ‘Misleading’ Post

Platform refers to rampant politicised censorship as “prompts”

Not content with its current level of censorship, Twitter is upping its game once again, announcing a new policy where users will be issued with a warning if they ‘like’ a tweet that has been deemed to contain ‘misinformation’ by the tech overlords.

The platform unveiled the change Monday, citing the election and COVID-19 as justification.

“Giving context on why a labeled Tweet is misleading under our election, COVID-19, and synthetic and manipulated media rules is vital,” a post read.

Twitter stated that its censorship “prompts” have “helped decrease Quote Tweets of misleading information by 29%.”

The platform further announced that it is “expanding them to show when you tap to like a labeled Tweet.”

Twitter then gave an example of a ‘misleading’ statement that would lead to a warning if anyone likes it.

“Mail in votes will be harder to count and track, leading to unreliable results” the example read.

The example was highlighted with the ‘prompt’  “This is disputed,” and “Help keep Twitter a place for reliable info. Find out more before sharing.”

The example gives a clear indication of exactly who Twitter is targeting with the new censorship policy.

The company which has actively censored President Trump’s posts while blocking news regarding Joe Biden’s potentially disqualifying dodgy business dealings, also recently announced that it will reset the @POTUS account on inauguration day, deleting Trump’s tweets.

Twitter also announced that its representatives will be meeting with members of Biden’s ‘transition team’ in the coming weeks to discuss the hand over of the @POTUS handle.

In the face of such rampant politicised censorship, which has been exposed by Senator Ted Cruz, among others, grilling Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, it is no surprise that rival platform Parler has gained massive numbers of users, after promising to adhere to freedom of speech rights.

Parler CEO: Establishment ‘Doesn’t Like That People Are Getting Power Again’

“It’s not against the law to express yourself.”

The CEO of Parler, the free speech supporting alternative to Twitter, explained this week why he believes his platform is coming under increasing attack from the establishment, while gaining huge amounts of users.

“People say crazy things all the time,” and “it’s not against the law to have those opinions,” John Matze told Tucker Carlson.

“I always ask them, ‘What do you think of the First Amendment? Do you believe that we should have somebody in New York, let’s say in the middle of Times Square, telling you what you can and cannot say?’” Matze continued.

“Because that’s what these companies are doing,” he added, referring to Facebook, Google and Twitter.

“I don’t know why they’re so afraid. Maybe it’s because they don’t like that people are getting power again,” Matze emphasised.

“But it’s not against the law to have those opinions,” he urged.

“It’s not against the law to express yourself. And if you like one political candidate or another, or you believe or don’t believe in climate change,” he continued, adding “you shouldn’t be taken offline because of it.”

Matze noted that his platform is “seeing is a massive explosion in growth because people trust that Parler’s going to do the right thing.”

“You’re judged by your peers just like our government allows for people. You’re innocent before proven guilty unlike these other platforms that are colluding to find things to find you guilty for,” Matze asserted.

Matze added that social media is “supposed to be about people having a free voice, being able to be liberated from restrictions.”

“That’s what we’re here to offer is a community town square for people to have discussions,” he noted.

The platform has been accused by the media of allowing ‘conspiracy theories’ to gain traction, and even of fomenting violence.

Speaking about Parler, Bret Schafer of the Alliance for Securing Democracy (a think tank dedicated to erasing any opinions that do not match their own) told The Hill that “Anytime you take a laissez-faire approach to moderation —you say ‘anything goes’ right up until actual threats of real world violence—that creates a huge space for some really problematic things to happen.”

“There is demand for a fictional universe”

Over the weekend, CNN resident clown Brian Stelter presented a hit list of conservative media outlets that he says are spreading “disinformation” about the election, calling for them all to be censored.

“There is an entire constellation of websites and talk shows that are in denial just like Trump,” Stelter declared while presenting a graphic listing sites such as Infowars, Breitbart, Fox News, The Daily Caller, Newsmax, and OAN.

“They are supplying disinformation about the election results, and wherever there’s a huge supply, there is a high demand,” Stelter proclaimed.

“Fox has never seen competition like this,” the host added, claiming “There is demand for a fictional universe…. Reliable news sources are mostly moving on to cover President-elect Biden. There is an entire constellation of websites and talk shows that are in denial just like Trump.”

Watch:

Commenting on the leftist surge toward censorship of any opinion in contradiction to their own, journalist Glenn Greenwald noted Monday that “There is no question that Democrats are gearing up to use their new power to apply far more pressure than ever on Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc. to censor any views they deem ‘threatening.’”

“Please look at what is going here,” Greenwald added, noting “Democrats are defining whoever opposes them not as adversaries but as national security threats, fascist terrorists, etc. — all to justify blocking them from the internet using their influence with Silicon Valley.”

Greenwald urged that CNN, NBC, and The Atlantic are “most loudly” demanding “disinformation” be censored, despite the fact that they are “the ones who not only sold the bullshit of the Iraq War but also the last 4 years of deranged Russia-took-over! conspiratorial insanity.”

“They want their discourse monopoly back,” Greenwald urged.
