Oprah Winfrey Forced to Deny She Was Caught Up in Celebrity Sex Trafficking Arrests

Trends number 1 on Twitter after fake news goes viral.

Oprah Winfrey has been forced to deny claims she was caught up in a global sweep of arrests for sex trafficking after she trended number one on Twitter.

Rumors began to swirl on social media that Winfrey’s house in Boca Raton, Florida, had been raided by the authorities.

These were sparked by a Facebook post that claimed the property had been seized and was being “excavated.”

“Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It’s NOT TRUE,” tweeted Oprah. “Haven’t been raided, or arrested. Just sanitising and self distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody.”

The fake news story also appears to have been amplified by a post which claims that the coronavirus pandemic is merely a cover for a global arrest sweep of celebrities, politicians, major CEOs and bankers.

The post asserts that the arrests were triggered after Harvey Weinstein “agreed to a deal in exchange for his testimony against hundreds of top Hollywood celebrities and their involvement in the drug business, pedophilia and child trafficking.”

While it makes for a conspiracy theory that could be made into an interesting movie, none of it is true.

“The staggering amount of people believing a 100% fake story about Oprah doesn’t make me feel good about the chances of society continuing,” commented Andy Lassner, who works for Ellen DeGeneres, one of the celebrities named in the post.

This is yet another lesson for people who post ridiculous claims attributed to “QAnon.”

The entire thing has zero foundation in reality and only makes conservatives look like swivel-eyed lunatics.

Chinese Architect Suggests Walking Around In A Bubble (Literally) To Avoid Coronavirus

Get in the bubble

A Chinese architect has designed a wearable bubble that he claims will protect people from the coronavirus by killing it with UV lights.

Dayong Sun claims that the lightweight carbon fiber frame can be worn like a backpack, with a thermoplastic material encasing the wearer and heating up to a temperature that will kill pathogens.

Sun says that the contraption effectively produces an enclosed sterilized environment.

Wearers would literally be living in a bubble.

“The coronavirus will be killed by temperatures of 56 degrees Celsius,” (133 degrees Fahrenheit)  the inventor told Dezeen.

“The PVC film cover is like our car windshields – there are heater wire in between the glass for heat the ice and snow in the winter,” he added.

The World Health Organization responded to the suggestion by pointing out that UV lamps should not be used in close proximity to the skin, given that UV radiation can cause irritation and illnesses.

“Sure we still need to do lot of work with engineers for the real production.” Sun stated.

The architect is marketing the contraption as bat wings, which is somewhat ironic, given that the coronavirus was likely contracted from bats.

You wanna live in a bubble?

Get in the bubble. Maybe eat some insects while you’re in there.

1981 Dean Koontz Novel Predicted Virus Outbreak Originating in Wuhan

Snopes ‘investigation’ determines it to be “mostly false” despite eerie parallels.

Published

on

A fictional plot from a 1981 Dean Koontz novel predicted that a virus originating in Wuhan would cause a global biological pandemic, but despite the creepy similarities to real life, Snopes soon concluded after an “investigation” that the parallels were “mostly false.”

In his thriller The Eyes of Darkness, the best-selling author describes a man-made bioweapon created at a research center in Wuhan, China that is developed “to wipe out a city or a country.”

“They call the stuff ‘Wuhan-400’ because it was developed at their RDNA labs outside the city of Wuhan,” a character says in the novel.

Meanwhile, in reality, a study by scientists at the South China University of Technology in Guangzhou, China concluded that “the killer coronavirus probably originated from a laboratory in Wuhan.”

While the virus in the book is far deadlier than the coronavirus, there are several similarities.

null

“I will say it’s damned near perfect. Long incubation, asymptomatic spread, infectious as hell,” another character says in the book.

A Snopes investigation of the matter concluded that the claim Koontz predicted the 2020 coronavirus outbreak was “mostly false” because in his story, the virus has a 100% fatality rate.

In addition, in the original version of the book, the biological weapon was named Gorki-400 and was changed to Wuhan for later editions published after 1989.

Once again, by applying such stringent measurements to declaring the prediction “false,” Snopes has mischaracterized the issue.

Yes it is weird that Koontz accurately predicted a virus emerging out of Wuhan that would cause a global biological pandemic.

That doesn’t mean Koontz had any foreknowledge of a conspiracy, but despite Snopes’ best efforts to throw cold water on the issue, it does make his plot eerily prescient.

Meanwhile, in another book called End Of Days: Predictions And Prophecies About The End Of The World, author Sylvia Browne predicted a “pneumonia-like illness” that would sweep the world in 2020.

null

“In around 2020 a severe pneumonia-like illness will spread throughout the globe, attacking the lungs and the bronchial tubes and resisting all known treatments,” she wrote. “Almost more baffling than the illness itself will be the fact that it will suddenly vanish as quickly as it arrived, attack again 10 years later, and then disappear completely.”

No doubt Snopes will “investigate” that too and dismiss it completely.

Live Webcam Stream Located in Crack Alley Broadcasts User-Generated Sounds

What could possibly go wrong?

Published

on

A live webcam stream with speakers located in an alley popular with drug dealers which allows viewers to donate to play sounds went entirely expected when users began making the speakers play racist messages.

Called ‘Window of Life’ – the YouTube stream allows users who donate $5 dollars to play a brief audio clip of whatever they choose which is then broadcast outside a window onto the crack alley.

While many users chose to play snippets of bizarre music and other random sounds, numerous others hijacked the stream to racially abuse whoever was within earshot.

Most of the abuse was focused around prolific use of the n-word, while another message encouraged anyone who could hear it to physically assault minorities in the name of Donald Trump and Adolf Hitler.

“Guy sets up a cam and speakers in a crack alley and lets viewers donate to play sounds, what could go wrong?” joked one Twitter user.

The channel responsible for the stream, Keegle Weegle, emphasized, “I do not support the views of the people who donate.”

The stream still remains live on YouTube.
