Glacier Park in Montana Set to Remove ‘Glaciers Will All Be Gone By 2020’ Signs

Well, this is awkward.

Published

on

Montana’s Glacier National Park is being forced to remove all signs that read “glaciers will all be gone by 2020,” after the doomsday scenario didn’t happen.

Some of the signs were already removed last year as it became clear the prediction wasn’t going to unfold.

Now the rest of the signs will have to be taken down too.

Glacier National Park spokeswoman Gina Kurzmen “told MTN News that the latest research shows shrinking, but in ways much more complex than what was predicted. Because of this, the park must update all signs around the park stating all glaciers will be melted by 2020,” reports 8KPAX.

In the late 90’s and early 2000s, scientists predicted that man-made global warming would cause melting glaciers, leading to rapidly rising sea levels that would sink coastal cities and towns.

The more dire forecasts have proven to be totally inaccurate and some glaciers are now growing.

Back in June, NASA reported that the Jakobshavn Glacier in western Greenland had thickened and “has grown for the third year in a row.”

The glacier prediction is by no means the only forecast global warming alarmists have got spectacularly wrong.

At the end of the 70’s, climate experts said that a new ice age was coming. It didn’t happen.

Paul Erlich’s prediction that hundreds of millions of people would die of starvation due to crop failure by the 1980’s also didn’t happen.

The 2004 prediction that major European cities would be underwater and that Britain would be plunged into a Siberian climate by 2020 didn’t happen.

Al Gore’s doomsday warning that the Arctic would have ice free summers by 2013 didn’t happen either.

Maybe since these “experts” been caught lying time and time again, we should stop listening to them.

Watch: CNN Reporter Claims Coronavirus Has “Helped Humanity Buy Some Time Against Global Warming”

Fake news guy claims the virus came from too much deforestation.

CNN reporter Bill Weir suggested during a report that the pause in industry and transportation due to coronavirus has “helped humanity buy some time” against global warming, a pointless suggestion, even if you believe the most ardent of climate doomsayers.

Watch:

Weir makes the suggestion and asks ‘what’s wrong with that assumption?’, to which climate scientist Jonathan Foley replies that we’d have to keep doing the same thing for 30 years to begin to see the results Weir is suggesting are already happening.

The CNN reporter also seems to suggest in the report that deforestation has caused coronavirus because “virologists warned that an invisible enemy would come out of the jungles” but we kept cutting them down.

“They were right” Weir bizarrely concludes, adding that there’s also an invisible enemy in the skies and the seas that should be taken seriously.

No doubt this clip will be front and centre of the powerpoint presentations of ‘coronavirus is nature’s revenge’ doomers everywhere.

Canada: Environmentalist Protesters Attempt to Derail Train

Some call for group responsible to be labeled domestic terror organization.

Published

Shocking video out of Ontario, Canada shows left-wing environmentalist protesters attempt to derail and then set fire to a train.

Members of the Mohawk First Nation, who are engaging in rail blockades in an effort to stop the construction of a pipeline, were filmed standing in front of a train before pelting it with rocks and then laying thick tree branches on the tracks.

The footage then shows the protesters burning wooden pallets in an attempt to set fire to the train.

Another video shows firefighters attending to a car that was engulfed in flames and placed on the railway tracks.

Some reacted to the clips by calling for the group to be listed as a domestic terror organization.

“It is extremely concerning to see people endangering their own lives and the lives of others by trying to interfere with the trains,” remarked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

According to Quebec Premier Francois Legault, some of the demonstrators have also been seen carrying AK-47s.

While some of the protesters have been arrested while manning the blockades, no charges have been brought.

After Failing With Worm Burgers, Norwegian Grocery Chain to Launch Cricket Burgers

Good luck with that.

Published

on

After failing to convince consumers to buy worm burgers, a Norwegian grocery chain is trying to market burgers made from ground up crickets.

Supermarket Meny scrapped the idea of worm burgers after insufficient demand but seem convinced that they can stir up enthusiasm for people to chomp down on insects.

“It is difficult to see whether Norwegian consumers are more open to insects in a burger than bread, but the link to testing alternative protein sources, such as insects, is probably more closely linked to a burger,” communications manager of Meny, Nina Horn Hynne, told E24.

According to the article, office staff at Meny were asked to try the cricket burger and they found it very appetizing.

“It tastes good,” says one employee. “Crunchy but with a little unusual taste.”

Thomas Rognstad, chairman of Urban Food in Norway, said the burgers, which are made by grounding down the crickets and adding flour, were easy to produce because crickets don’t need much space, water or food and they contain 60 per cent protein.

Judging by some of the respondents to the article, the cricket burgers are probably going to be as unpopular as the worm burgers.

“There no chance in hell I would eat this,” said one.

“No boycott is needed because there won’t even be any sale,” added another.

However, when cricket burgers were launched at a Mexican restaurant in Soho, New York, they were apparently a “surprise hit.”

Eating bugs has been heavily promoted by cultural institutions and the media over the past year because people are being readied to accept drastically lower standards of living under disastrous global ‘Green New Deal’ programs that will make normal meat production vastly more expensive.
