Putin: ‘In Some Countries the Word “Mother” is Being Replaced’

“I hope we never have that in Russia.”

Published

on

President Vladimir Putin remarked at a recent Kremlin meeting that some countries are replacing the word “mother” out of concerns for political correctness, something he hoped would never happen in Russia.

Putin was referring to a law passed in France earlier this year which mandates that schools refrain from using ‘father’ and ‘mother’ and instead use ‘parent 1’ and ‘parent 2’.

According to government MP Valérie Petit, the change was necessary because using ‘father’ and ‘mother’ is “old fashioned” and doesn’t meet the needs of “social equality.”

Don’t expect to see Russia following suit.

During a meeting of the Council for Interethnic Relations, a Kremlin advisory group, Putin told delegates, “You said the word mother ‘can’t be replaced.’ It turns out, perhaps, it can, in some countries, they now have ‘parent number one’ and ‘parent number two.’ I hope we never have that (in Russia).”

Officials attending the conference laughed, but for many in the west, who are told to accept such absurdities in silence lest they be punished for a myriad of potential thought crimes, it’s not that funny.

“That good-natured response masked the looming uneasiness that yet another crazy train has departed the Western station and is on a collision course with Russia, as well as the rest of the world,” writes Robert Bridge.

“Will Russia be able to holdout forever against the globalists’ ultra-liberal agenda now threatening the planet?” he asks.

As we previously highlighted, a discussion on one of Russia’s most popular TV shows about a boy in Scotland who was suspended for saying there are only two genders underscored how people in eastern Europe are completely bewildered by the west’s obsession with identity politics.

Back in June, Vladimir Putin commented on a similar topic, asserting that liberalism was in its death throws thanks to forced multiculturalism.

“The ruling elites have broken away from the people,” Putin told the Financial Times, adding that the “so-called liberal idea has outlived its purpose.”

NBA Store Refuses to Sell ‘Free Hong Kong’ Jersey, But Does Sell ‘Kill Cops’ Shirt

Woke hypocrisy of basketball franchise exposed once again.

The NBA store is refusing to sell jerseys emblazoned with the words ‘Free Hong Kong’, but is perfectly happy to sell ‘Kill Cops’ shirts.

“I’m on the phone with the NBA store right now,” tweeted David Hookstead. “Sales rep says I can’t buy a FreeHongKong jersey, but I can buy a KillCops jersey if I want one.”

Audio of a phone call posted by Hookstead appears to confirm that buyers can choose to have their jersey say ‘Kill Cops’ but not ‘Free Hong Kong’ at the point of purchase.

YouTuber Mark Dice confirmed that jerseys printed with the words ‘Kill Cops’ were available for purchase.

The refusal to sell ‘Free Hong Kong’ jerseys is a continuation of the NBA’s tacit support for the Communist Chinese regime that has oppressed democracy activists since riots erupted last year and recently passed a “national security law” which makes it easier for China to target and punish dissenters within Hong Kong.

Last October, Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey tweeted in support of the Hong Kong protest movement, prompting China to pull almost all sponsorship and NBA broadcasts and forcing the NBA into a groveling apology.

By siding with one of the biggest human rights abusers on the planet to financially protect its franchise, the NBA has made a mockery of its simultaneous woke virtue signaling domestically in support of Black Lives Matter and other purported social justice causes.

UK Police Brag About Arresting 12-Year-Old Boy For Offensive Social Media Posts

Child’s life ruined after mass denunciation.

UK police bragged about arresting a 12-year-old boy for offensive social media posts sent to a multi-millionaire Premier League footballer.

The child was arrested after he sent racist messages to Wilfried Zaha telling the Crystal Palace star “you better not score tomorrow you black cunt,” along with images of the Ku Klux Klan.

Zaha shared the Instagram page belonging to the boy with his 885,000 Twitter followers, prompting massive media denunciations of the child and an immediate police investigation.

“We were alerted to a series of racist messages sent to a footballer today and after looking into them and conducting checks, we have arrested a boy,” tweeted West Midlands Police.

“The 12-year-old from #Solihull has been taken to custody. Thanks to everyone who raised it. Racism won’t be tolerated.”

While the entirety of the media failed to even ask whether it was proportionate for a 12-year-old boy to have his life ruined over a few stupid social media posts, respondents on Twitter offered a different perspective.

“You’ve arrested 12 year old for an offensive tweet. Impressive. Good to know resources are being directed appropriately,” remarked one.

“43k extremists on the mi5 terrorist watch list walking around free, but a 12yo has been arrested so we can all sleep safe,” commented another.

Others chastised the very same police force for failing to tackle far more serious crimes than a 12-year-old boy being offensive.

In the age of mass public shaming and online hate mobs, the power dynamic of a 12-year-old boy being up against the might of law enforcement, a multi-billion dollar industry and the condemnation of the mass media is not even considered for a second.

He is a thought criminal and his life is now decimated.

USA Today Slammed For Repeating Idiotic Claim That Trump Campaign T-Shirt Has ‘Nazi Symbol’

Nazis… everywhere.

USA Today was ritually torn apart on Twitter this past weekend after it ‘fact checked’ as “true” claims that an official Trump 2020 t-shirt features a ‘Nazi symbol’.

The t-shirt features a bald eagle clasping the US flag, a common symbol in American politics for centuries, and one that is found in many seals of government agencies, and on US money.

The idea that it is some kind of Nazi symbol was dredged up again by anti-Trump groups such as the Lincoln Project and Jewish ‘progressive’ activists Bend the Arc:

Nevertheless, USA Today effectively repeated the idiotic claim, and was quickly subject to a huge wave of condemnation, forcing it to issue a ‘clarifying’ statement:

The article that the tweet links to, written by Will Peebles, admits that the eagle in the Trump t-shirt design is a stock image, and has “key differences” to the symbol used by the Nazi party in the 1930s.

Nevertheless, the ‘fact check: true’ tweet was clearly misleading click bait.

The responses were devastating:
