Watch: Lefty BBC Comedian Booed Off Stage For Tired Brexit ‘Jokes’

Published

on

Insulted crowd, and said “what you need here is far right comedians”

Update – A longer video of the incident has emerged:

A comedian who regularly appears on BBC programming was booed off stage and had food thrown at him within minutes of the beginning his routine because he spoke negatively about Brexit and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The tail end of Nish Kumar’s appearance was filmed by members of the audience at a charity cricket lunch in London. The footage shows Kumar refusing to leave the stage, and having to be escorted off.

“I know you want me to leave but I’m not going to do it.  Absolutely not.” Kumar can be heard saying in the video.

He was also reported to have bragged to the crowd that he was doing the event for free, but they should have paid a “far right” comedian to do the performance, which incensed the audience even more.

“It was the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen,” attendee Jon Austin told the Telegraph.

“It was Brexit straight away.  He came on and he killed the audience.  It took less than a minute. People were booing him.  He had bread rolls thrown at him.” Austin added, saying the event in aid of disabled children “wasn’t the place” for politics.

Kumar was also said to have made a joke about himself either looking like a terrorist or a Brazilian, depending on the angle.

When the crowd quickly turned, Kumar reacted by insulting them, calling them “Thick”. “He said ‘what you need here is far right comedians’,” Mr Austin said, adding “‘Far right’ – it was just deeply offensive.”

Kumar is known for routinely appearing on boring BBC panel shows where ranting about Brexit is somehow considered ‘comedy’. He also fronts a ‘comedy’ show called Mash Report on the BBC, where he parrots this kind of material ad nauseum.

In other words, he operates in a total bubble. Put him out in the real world in front of a crowd of middle-aged cricket fans, and this is what happens.

This perfectly underscores how sick British people are of being told what the ‘right’ way of thinking is by establishment hacks like Kumar. All he does is use comedy as a coat for imposing his political beliefs on others. It is simultaneously a horrendous misuse of the art form, and a smarmy declaration of moral superiority.

Kumar sardonically addressed the incident on Twitter, writing “In my defence, it was only one bread roll and it missed me.”

He also posted a YouTube video of Bob Dylan laughing at newspaper reports that people had walked out of one of his concerts after booing him.

It can only be inferred that the suggestion here by Nish is that the people just don’t understand greatness when they see it.

The problem, however, is that Bob Dylan is undoubtedly one of the greatest artists of his time, whereas Nish is a guy who appears on scripted panel shows and at corporate events because he’s not talented or liked enough to score real comedy gigs.

Orwell Cancelled? Journalist Says “Vile” Author Aided Nazis

“Orwell was a total fraud.”

Despite being dead for 70 years, George Orwell may become the latest public figure to be cancelled after a left-wing journalist called him a “vile man” who aided the Nazis with his strident criticism of Stalinist Russia.

Yes, really.

“In addition to being a gov snitch, fraud George Orwell spent WWII demonizing the USSR as it defeated Nazism,” tweeted Ben Norman.

“As the Red Army sacrificed millions fighting Hitler, and as the Nazi regime shoved Jews into gas chambers, Orwell was writing Animal Farm. Vile man,” he added.

Norton followed up by denouncing the 1984 author as a “reactionary who hated communists more than fascists” before claiming Orwell “didn’t actually believe in free speech. He wanted to take away the free speech of communists. Orwell was a total fraud.”

Respondents pointed out that criticizing Stalinism, which killed multiple times more people than Nazism, doesn’t make one a fascist enabler.

“Orwell cancelled. Stop reading Orwell everybody. There is nothing you are allowed to learn from his books. Ben says,” tweeted Ryan McGoverne.

“This is my favourite cancellation yet. Top 10 of the last hour anyway,” said Alex Boyd.

Norman was also accused of historical inaccuracies.

“To believe this is to be completely ignorant of the history of WWII,” remarked one Twitter user. “Stalin was completely fine with everything Hitler was doing up until the Germans invasion of USSR in 1941. Also the Red Army was not alone in defeating the Nazis.”

To be fair to Norman, he does appear to be a supporter of free speech and an opponent of deplatforming.

However, this once again underscores how “cancel culture” is not merely just pushback on opinions considered to be “offensive”.

Orwell died in 1950 and his legacy as an icon of anti-authoritarianism has held firm over the last 70 years.

But just as we have seen with attempts to topple statues of Winston Churchill, George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, the woke mob is so intent on re-writing history and imposing a cultural revolution, not even some of the most seminal names in history are safe.

Video: Baltimore Mob Pulls Down Columbus Statue And Slings It In Harbor

Democrat Senator says ‘national dialogue’ should be held on whether to trash statues of founding fathers.

A statue of Christopher Columbus that has stood in the Little Italy neighborhood of Baltimore for 36 years was torn down by a mob Sunday and thrown into the nearby harbor.

Watch:

The Baltimore Sun noted that the Columbus statue has traditionally been used as the site of a wreath-laying ceremony ahead of the Columbus Day parade, an annual event which was last year replaced by a ‘Italian Heritage Festival.’

The newspaper also reported that activists last month had asked Gov. Larry Hogan and Baltimore Mayor Bernard C. “Jack” Young to preserve and protect the memorials in Baltimore in the wake of threats to pull them down by BLM agitators.

The destruction of the statue comes after President Trump signed an executive order mandating that cities must protect statues, and a speech in which he condemned angry leftist mobs attempting to tear down historical monuments.

Other cities and institutions such as colleges and Universities are actively removing statues, under the threat of mobs taking matters into their own hands.

For example, Campus Reform notes that Hofstra University, the largest private college on Long Island, New York, has “decided to relocate its long-criticized Thomas Jefferson statue to a less prominent location on campus, citing the ‘pain of our black students.'”

The relocation of the statue to a less visible area wasn’t enough for the protesting students, however, who further demanded that the statue of Jefferson simply be removed altogether.

“Relocation is not a viable option because it will just elicit the same response wherever it is placed,” states a petition, which contains a ‘trigger warning’ for “Mentions of Slavery, Rape, and Anti-Black Racism.”

While many are backing Trump’s stance on the monuments, Democrats continue to push for ‘offending’ statues to come down, with some even suggesting monuments of George Washington could be removed.

In an appearance on CNN’s Sunday, Democratic Illinois Sen. Tammy Duckworth said that “a national dialogue” should be held on whether to trash statues of the founding fathers

“I think we should listen to the argument there,” Duckworth proclaimed, adding that “the president at Mount Rushmore was standing on ground that was stolen from Native Americans who had actually been given that land during a treaty.”

JK Rowling Says She Has Received Thousands Of Emails Of Concern Over ‘Aims And Methods Of Trans Activism’

Author JK Rowling took to Twitter once again Sunday and posted another string of tweets condemning the trans-activist movement, noting that she has received thousands of emails of support from people who are concerned it is being used to further sexual assault.

Rowling’s posts came in response to a commentary piece by Labour MP Lloyd Russell-Moyle over the weekend, charging that Rowling is using her history of sexual assault, which she revealed in a recent essay, as “justification” for “discriminating” against transgender people.

Russell-Moyle apologised to Rowling after receiving a backlash over the piece.

“JK Rowling’s first disclosures of domestic abuse and sexual assault in her recent article on trans issues were heartfelt and must have been hard to say.” the MP wrote.

“Whilst I may disagree with some of her analysis on trans rights, it was wrong of me to suggest that she used her own dreadful experience in anything other than good faith,” he added.

Rowling responded to the apology, again defending her position and noting that “professionals working in women’s refuges, the prison service, the social work system, the criminal justice system and the police” have all related stories to her about trans activism being misused by predatory individuals.

In her previous essay, Rowling labeled critics of her “transphobia” victims of “groupthink” and charged that they are putting women at risk.

“When you throw open the doors of bathrooms and changing rooms to any man who believes or feels he’s a woman – and, as I’ve said, gender confirmation certificates may now be granted without any need for surgery or hormones – then you open the door to any and all men who wish to come inside. That is a simple truth,” Rowling wrote.

The author is sticking staunchly to her views, despite being fiercely targeted by ‘woke’ critics, even within the literary agency and the publishing house she is associated with.

Fortunately for Rowling both companies have backed her, which may or may not be to do with the fact that she sells tens of millions of books every year.
