A 29-year-old man drove a car into a gym in Stockholm during a handball match, with authorities treating the incident as a possible terror attack after they discovered a letter written by the suspect which mentioned Osama Bin Laden.
The alleged attack occurred on Saturday night during handball match between two teams of 14-year-olds in the Youth Championship.
A video clip shows the handball players running away in fear after a loud bang is heard and the car crashes into the arena.

The man was initially arrested on charges of drunk driving and gross negligence and released, but the investigation took a new turn when authorities discovered a letter he had written which mentioned 9/11 mastermind Bin Laden and stated “people should die.”
Special investigators were called in and the incident is now being treated as a possible terror attack.
“The vehicle used by the man in the act must also have been rigged,” reports Aftonbladet. “A car battery with cables must have been on the accelerator.”
It subsequently emerged that the man was previously convicted for attempted murder but was released from prison after serving just 5 years.
The father of Ebba Åkerlund, the 11-year-old Swedish girl killed during an Islamic terror attack in 2017, says her grave in Stockholm has been desecrated over 100 times.
Åkerlund was dismembered and killed when Islamic migrant terrorist Rakhmat Akilov drove a truck through a shopping street on April 7th, 2017, killing five people and seriously injuring 14 others.
The culprit, 37-year-old Rakhmat Akilov, was a rejected asylum seeker from Uzbekistan.
Since her death, Ebba’s father Stefan Åkerlund has visited her grave every day at 10am to say good morning and every evening at 6pm to say goodnight.
However, after another act of desecration this week, Åkerlund says his daughter’s grave at the Adolf Fredrik cemetery in central Stockholm has been vandalized over 100 times.
“You get sad when you come here and see that someone, either just vandalized or also stole,” he told Nyheter24, noting that in the latest incident flowers he left to mark Ebba’s birthday had been overturned, a glass lantern smashed and other items stolen.
Åkerlund has been calling for surveillance cameras to be set up to catch the culprits but has so far been ignored.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s only x hours a day that the camera works, it’s enough if there are camera surveillance images, I think it helps,” he said.

During on such desecration in 2018, Åkerlund caught the culprit, an illegal immigrant, in the act of desecrating Ebba’s grave.
“I personally caught him in the act of desecration, when he was pouring [candle wax] on Ebba’s grave; the police released him after only one hour in custody,” he said, adding, “That’s what my nightly visits to the graveyard were worth.”
Stockholm continues to enjoy the benefits of Sweden’s open door liberal immigration policy.
This includes a rash of shootings that officials say have left the capital “unrecognizable,” historic churches being firebombed and regular violent riots staged by migrant youths.
Having been one of the safest countries in Europe 20 years ago before mass uncontrolled immigration, Sweden is now the continent’s second most dangerous in terms of gun crime behind only Croatia.
Last year, Germany’s Bild newspaper ran the headline: ‘Sweden is the most dangerous country in Europe.’
Shootings in Sweden hit a record high last year as authorities are increasingly unable to contain migrant gang crime. There were 46 homicides committed in 335 shootings across the country, with most of them occurring in the migrant hotspots of Malmö, Gothenburg, and Stockholm.
Last month, we highlighted the comments of left-wing Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, who admitted that the country has failed in its bid to integrate large numbers of migrants.
“Integration was poor, and alongside, we have experienced intense immigration. Our society was too weak, while money for the police and social services too little,” she said.

Media outlets in the UK are still describing the Liverpool suicide bomber as a “Christian convert” despite clear evidence that he faked this identity in an effort bolster his asylum claim.
32-year-old Emad Al Swealmeen, a refugee who was born in Iraq, was killed when his homemade bomb detonated in a taxi while he was on his way to carry out the attack.
The intended target was either a Remembrance Sunday parade or a women’s hospital, outside of which the device prematurely exploded.
Immediately after his identity was made public, the media hyped reports that Al Swealmeen was not an Islamic terrorist but in fact a Christian convert.
Outlets like BBC News are still reporting this falsehood today, with a new report about the details behind the attack labeling the terrorist a “Christian convert.”
It’s simply not true.
Emad Al-Swealmeen began planning his attack at least eight months ago.
During this time, when he was constructing the bomb, Al Swealmeen “was seen at his local mosque every day during Ramadan in April.”
According to the Telegraph, the terrorist “attended the mosque “all day every day” during the religious festival and was seen praying with a fellow Muslim a week before the attack.”
Speculation is still raging as to whether Al-Swealmeen intended to target the women’s hospital or a Remembrance Day parade that was taking place at a nearby cathedral.
"We know that people are willing to lie to win asylum up to and including faking religious conversions. This is incentivised by the asylum system, which does not do enough to root out fakes."@SAshworthHayes for The @Telegraph:https://t.co/FbSvPXDYUY
What kind of “Christian convert” prays at a mosque and then goes on to try to blow himself up outside a Christian cathedral?
Outlets like the BBC are still amplifying the “Christian convert” myth despite it now being widely known that Muslims in huge numbers have been attending 5 week courses at Liverpool Cathedral not because they genuinely want to convert, but because it helps get their asylum claim accepted.
Mohammad Eghtedarian, a genuine convert, told the Telegraph that there were countless people who were “abusing the system.”
“I do understand there are a lot of mixed motives. There are many people abusing the system – I’m not ashamed of saying that,” he acknowledged.
Despite it being painfully obvious that this is precisely what Al-Swealmeen was doing, and that he was never actually a “Christian convert,” it’s apparently lost on the mainstream media, which continue to completely ignore the terrorist’s actual motives and behavior.
It’s almost like they hate Christians and Christianity in general.
