UK National Health Service to Deny Treatment to ‘Racists’ and ‘Sexists’

What could possibly go wrong?

Published

on

A National Health Service (NHS) trust in the UK has announced that it will deny treatment to patients it deems are ‘racists’ or ‘sexists’.

No, this is not the Onion.

The North Bristol NHS Trust said that “threatening and offensive language,” as well as “racist or sexist language, gestures or behaviour” and “malicious allegations” would all be punishable offenses.

Patients who commit such an infraction will be subject to a “sports-style disciplinary yellow card and then final red card in which treatment would be withdrawn as soon as is safe.”

“We have staff from many different backgrounds, from all over the world, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to equality which is a fundamental value of the NHS,” said Andrea Young, Chief Executive for North Bristol NHS Trust.

“We’re sending a strong signal that any racism or discrimination is completely unacceptable – we want staff to challenge and report it and we want everyone to know that it will have consequences,” she added.

The problem here of course is that the definition of what constitutes ‘racism’ or ‘sexism’ gets broader with each passing day.

As Jack Montgomery highlights, “In late 2017 an NHS patient who requested a female nurse to carry out a cervical smear complained when the hospital sent a person with “an obviously male appearance… close-cropped hair, a male facial appearance and voice, large number of tattoos and facial stubble” who insisted “My gender is not male. I’m a transsexual”.

Foster parents have also had children removed from their care by the state because they were supporters of UKIP and not vehement supporters of “multiculturalism.”

The University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust also ordered that the British flag be removed from security staff stab vests after one person complained that it was “offensive.”

This is even worse than China’s social credit score, which to my knowledge doesn’t yet punish people by withdrawing medical treatment if they engage in wrongthink.

First it was deplatforming people from social media websites, then it was deplatforming people from bank accounts and mortgages. Now it’s deplatforming people from hospital treatment.

Literally eliminating people’s right to basic health care because of their political or social opinions.

This is where we’re at, and this is why the UK is truly the capital of Clown World Order.

Australian Reporters Angered by Request to Stop Using the Word “Pedophile” to Describe Accused Serial Child Molester

Might upset other pedophiles.

Australian reporters working for ABC Tasmania were angered when they were advised by top brass to stop using the word “pedophile” to refer to an accused serial child molester because it could discourage other pedophiles from seeking help.

“Oh, won’t someone think of the poor pedophiles!”

A senior producer at the network informed employees that Sexual Assault Support Service (SASS) had “mentioned their concerns” about describing former nurse James Geoffrey Griffin as a pedophile.

Griffin, who subsequently committed suicide, was accused by numerous women of sexually abusing them as children and police later found “a significant amount of child exploitation material” during a search of his home.

“We should avoid [the term pedophile], unless we know he had a clinical diagnosis of paedophilia and instead use serial sexual offender / predator, or a sexual abuser of children and young people,” the producer wrote in an email.

The missive also cited the SASS in advising that there are many “people with paedophilia” who “do not act on those impulses,” if they “reach out for and receive professional psychological help.”

The producer claimed that labeling Griffin a pedophile “could discourage” non-offending pedophiles “from seeking help, making it more likely that they go on to abuse children.”

Reporters were apparently “concerned and angered” by the email and were later told by the network that the word “pedophile” hadn’t been banned but that the SASS’s advice should be considered.

Some respondents saw this as yet another example of how society is becoming increasingly tolerant of pedophilia, which some on the far-left have tried to re-define as an alternative sexual orientation.

“Yes, by all means, let’s not hurt pedophiles feelings,” remarked one.

“This is what happens to empires/societies that live too soft too long and don’t face enough adversity or threats to its existence,” added another. “They go weird and can’t even call a spade a spade.”

Last summer, a controversy erupted when Netflix released Cuties, a movie that depicts underage children in a sexually exploitative manner.

However, many on the left defended the movie, claiming it highlighted the problem of sexually exploiting children.

Which would be like actually torturing animals to highlight the problem of animal abuse.

Nosy: Face Mask Competitor Faces Ridicule

Wearer looks like they’re permanently trapped inside an Instagram puppy filter.

A product called Nosy that is positioning itself as a competitor to the face mask attracted ridicule after people pointed out that it looked absurd.

Although ostensibly a means of protecting against air pollution, the product has undoubtedly drawn attention due to the proliferation of face masks in a post-COVID world.

It’s essentially a small plastic nose covering that makes the wearer look like they’re permanently trapped inside an Instagram puppy filter.

A promo video for Nosy cites World Health Organization statistics which claim one in nine global deaths are due to indoor or outdoor air pollution.

“The problem with face masks is that they don’t have a great seal around the outside, they’re designed for medical environments to stop splashes and things like that,” explains one of the engineers behind Nosy, adding, “They generally have small gaps around the outside.”

Nosy prevents this by having a tight seal and filtering air breathed in through the nose, although it obviously offers no protection if people breathe in through their mouth.

The promo claims that the product is “fashionable,” with one of the participants in the ad claiming, “Nosy is not just a health device, Nosy is a fashion statement for the modern individual.”

Numerous respondents on Twitter begged to differ.

“April Fool Joke released much in advance?” asked one.

“It should be a joke, but deep down we all know with a depressing certainty that it isn’t and worse people will buy them,” remarked another.

“They look like Pennyworth villains,” added another.

Nosy doesn’t actually appear to be for sale yet. A Kickstarter for the product has raised over £23,000 pounds since it started.

Several respondents commented on how in a post-corona world people have been indoctrinated through sheer terror into forgetting that humans have immune systems.

“The immune systems of half the country will become so weak after years of filtered existence they’ll risk dying from the cold,” remarked one respondent.

The idea of people being so terrified of a virus which has a 99.8% survival rate for most walking around in masks and literally leaping out of the way of other people would have once seemed strange.

Now it’s our “new normal” – so in comparison Nosy really isn’t that odd.

Jersey Police Criticized Over TikTok Dance Routine

“Too busy to investigate crime then?”

Jersey Police faced criticism after a video emerged showing multiple officers practicing a dance routine for a TikTok video while residents remain under lockdown restrictions.

The clip shows eight officers taking part in the dance while they are guarded by a further two officers on motorbikes. Two other people are filming the scene with professional cameras.

Although Jersey is more open than mainland UK, it still has numerous restrictions in place that prevent people gathering in large groups.

Respondents to the video expressed the view that police resources would be better used elsewhere while asserting it set a bad example for those still living under restrictions.

“So, it is illegal for my children to meet with friends to play outside and yet the police are getting away with this? Absolutely disgraceful behaviour and a kick in the teeth to all those abiding by the rules as best they can,” said one.

“Does nobody @JerseyPolice realise how bad this looks. Rolling on the floor laughing we’re giving you fines for socialising, but look at our funky dances. Embarrassing and shameful. Silly authoritarians,” added another.

“Too busy to investigate crime then?” asked another.

“After a tough day of diversity training and lecturing people over offensive messages, Jersey police finish off the day with a Tiktok video,” joked another.

Last year, NHS nurses faced similar criticism after taking part in a trend of dancing videos during the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

Although many claimed they were just blowing off steam, family members of people who had their cancer screenings cancelled due to lockdown complained that the routines were insensitive.
