Rand Paul: Democrats Are Openly Supporting Communism, Not Being Challenged By Media

Published

on

‘They are supporting Stalin and Mao and Pol Pot, and all these terrible ideas’

Senator Rand Paul has warned that Democrats such as Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are being allowed to openly advocate the policies of Communist dictators without recourse from the party or mainstream media.

Speaking on the matter during an interview with C-Span, Paul said “nobody in the media seems to care that what AOC is supporting or what Bernie is supporting is Stalin and Mao and Pol Pot, and all these terrible ideas, and they get away with it because they aren’t challenged.”

Paul has a book out called “The Case Against Socialism” detailing how this is unfolding.

The Senator pointed to the situation in Venezuela as an example of the reality of socialist policies.

“Venezuela is just such a disaster. I mean, people literally eating their pets. We tell the story of a young lady who was a teenage girl, and she has a gang, but her gang is to defend the turf of trash. So, there’s certain garbage receptacles and she keeps people out of them because those are her garbage receptacles to look for food. How sad. People killing rats in the street to try to eat them, pigeons, and it just, it really is a sad thing.” Paul urged.

“We have to understand why the world economy got better, and we have to understand why Venezuela’s deteriorating into, you know, chaos.” Paul continued.

“It’s part of also the debate we should be having up here, and we don’t seem to have it in Congress, is that we don’t develop, we aren’t really talking about which economically system is better.” he added.

The interviewer, Florida Republican Matt Gaetz, brought up Bernie Sanders saying in the past that breadlines are a good thing.

“It’s funny, sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is, that people are lining up for food. That is a good thing!” Sanders stated. “In other countries people don’t line up for food. The rich get the food and the poor starve to death.”

Paul responded “Yeah, well, we suggest that he actually go down and see what the lines are like in Venezuela. I don’t think people are too excited about lines.”

It was reported this week that a survey discovered 70 percent of American millennials said they would vote for a socialist, with 1 in 3 saying they have a favorable view of communism.

“The historical amnesia about the dangers of communism and socialism is on full display in this year’s report,” said Marion Smith, executive director of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation.

“When we don’t educate our youngest generations about the historical truth of 100 million victims murdered at the hands of communist regimes over the past century, we shouldn’t be surprised at their willingness to embrace Marxist ideas,” Smith added. “We need to redouble our efforts to educate America’s youth about the history of communist regimes and the dangers of socialism today.”

Odds on Kanye Becoming President Slashed From 500/1 to 50/1

Polls show it’s more likely he would take votes away from Trump.

Odds on Kanye West becoming president after he announced he was running in a tweet have been slashed from 500/1 to 50/1.

The rapper made the announcement on Saturday night, tweeting, “We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.”

This prompted a big move in the UK betting markets, with Casino.org reporting, “The consensus on West becoming the 46th president of the United States was slashed from 500/1 to 50/1 on his tweet. The reduction alters his odds from 0.2 percent to 1.96 percent.”

Oddschecker also reports that since his tweet, 61 per cent of all wagers on the presidential race have been placed on Kanye, while 25 per cent have gone for Trump in the belief that Kanye running would take votes away from Joe Biden.

While numerous leftists reacted to Kanye’s announcement by expressing anxiety that his involvement in the race, which would likely be as an independent candidate, would take votes away from Biden, the opposite might actually be the case.

A YouGov/Huffington Post poll of 1,000 US adults taken in April 2018, after Kanye started praising Trump, found that just 9% of black Americans and 13% of Democrats said they had a favorable opinion of the rapper, compared to 20% of whites and 34% of Republicans.

A CNN poll conducted the following month found that Democrats had a 12% favorable to 67% unfavorable opinion of Kanye, while Republicans were evenly split, 35% to 35%.

So while 25% of black Americans said they would consider voting for Kanye when asked in September 2015, that sentiment has flipped significantly.

Although Kanye walked back his praise of Trump more recently, he is still loathed by many on the left, as is evident in the video below.

Report: Trump Asks For “No More Of Jared’s Woke Sh*t”

According to a report from Axios, President Trump is done listening to his son-in-law Jared Kushner, telling White House staff he wants “No more of Jared’s woke shit”.

Speaking anonymously, a source claimed that Trump regrets listening to Kushner in the past, and feels that it has cost him vital support among his base.

The final straw appears to have been the recent anti-police sentiment stirred up by rioters coinciding with Kushner’s continued pushing for Trump to get on board with the prison reform bill.

If Trump were to undercut police in any fashion, it could be construed as hypocritical, given his pledge to support law enforcement unequivocally.

The report also notes that Trump listens carefully to Tucker Carlson, who has continually warned of the perils of listening to Kushner’s policy advice.

“He often derides Kushner as a liberal,” Carlson said during a recent fiery segment.

“And that’s correct, Kushner is. But Kushner has convinced the president that throwing open the prisons is the key to winning African American votes in the fall and that those votes are essential to his reelection.” Carlson further warned.

Axios notes that a second senior White House official denies that there is any rift between Trump and Kushner, saying that “Numerous anonymous sources have attempted to provide separation between Jared and the president. They have failed for the last three and a half years. They are not going to be successful today either.”

Trump: Joe Biden “Can’t Put Two Sentences Together”

“Whether they like it or not, he’s shot.”

President Trump noted Thursday that it is highly concerning that his Democratic rival for the Presidential election in November cannot even speak properly.

Appearing at a Fox News town hall event, Trump noted that it is conceivable that Joe Biden could become President even though he is not all there mentally.

“Whenever he does talk, he can’t put two sentences together,” Trump said.

“I don’t want to be nice or un-nice. The man can’t speak and he is going to be president, because some people don’t love me, maybe.” the President added.

Trump recalled a number of times when Biden has completely shut down mentally, and his endless gaffes, including recently declaring that 120 million Americans have died from the coronavirus.

“That’s a serious error. That is not a permissible type of error. There is something going on,” Trump urged.

“It’s wonderful to say I feel sorry or that’s too bad, because I do, except we are talking about the presidency of the United States, and it is just not acceptable.” he added.

Trump also noted that Biden, if elected, will be completely overrun by the radical left agenda.

“Look, I don’t think that Biden is a radical left, but it doesn’t matter because they’re going to just do whatever they want to do they’ll take him over,” Trump proclaimed.

“He can’t perform … he’s shot, whether they like it or not, he’s shot. The radical left is going to take him over.” the President added.

“A guy like Biden, he’s not going to have any power to do anything about it, and they’re dragging him,” Trump urged.

Elsewhere during the town hall, Trump addressed the continuing unrest in the nation at the hands of “vandals”, “agitators, and “terrorists, in a sense.”

“Democrats think it’s wonderful that they’re destroying our country. It’s a very sick thing that’s going on,” Trump said, adding that “Republicans have to get tougher.”

“I’m telling them all the time, because they’re sitting back. They want to be politically correct. They think it’s terrible to say something bad,” Trump urged, adding “You can’t be politically correct anymore, because we’re really fighting something that’s very dangerous.”
