White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki drew ire Monday by suggesting that the defund the police movement is being driven by Republicans, rather than extremist Democrats.

In another exchange with Fox News reporter Peter Doocy, Psaki argued that the lack of support on the right for Biden’s massive pork filled COVID relief bill equates to wanting to defund law enforcement.

Republicans didn’t vote for the bill because it had nothing to do with COVID and everything to do with more government control.

Psaki used the fact that there was some slated funding for ‘community policing’ in the bill to argue that Republicans are against funding the police.

In reality, it is Democrats that have been pushing defunding police for over a year now, which has had devastating effect on Democrat run cities.

Last year after unrest and violence targeting police, Harvard university Professor Roland Fryer urged that defunding the police would cause more loss of life, citing figures showing that there are “450 excess homicides per year” when police are not able to do their jobs proficiently.

“Defunding the police is not a solution and could cost thousands of black lives,” professor Fryer wrote in an email to the College Fix.

Fryer has recently authored a research paper titled “Policing the Police: The Impact of “Pattern-or-Practice Investigations on Crime,” noting that police are less present when ‘viral incidents’ occur, meaning crime, including homicides increase… a lot.

Last year it was reported by the New York Times that Gun violence is up 358% in New York City since June 2019 as police are being stripped of resources in Democrat run cities nationwide.

The explosion in gun violence dovetailed with the disbanding of NYPD anti-crime units, a decision that meant around 600 plainclothes officers were taken off targeted raids and reassigned.

In addition, Democrat imposed “reforms” have meant that around 40% of people arrested on gun possession charges were released without bail in 2019.

Figures also show that other Democrat run cities including Chicago and Minneapolis have experienced a massive uptick in gun violence.

Despite the crime spike, the Minneapolis City Council unanimously passed a resolution to replace the police department with a “community-led public safety system.”

Meanwhile, the radical leftists and Democrats who are pushing the movement think nothing of hiring their own armed security while everyday Americans are left at the mercy of criminality.

A new report claims that President Trump blamed Jared Kushner for pandering to “the blacks,” who Trump thought were never going to vote for him anyway because “they all fucking hate me.”

The claim is made by Michael C. Bender, senior White House reporter for the Wall Street Journal, in his new book Frankly, We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost.

According to Bender, Trump blamed Kushner for his messaging in response to months of Black Lives Matter riots and mayhem (which Bender describes as “civil unrest”) not connecting with Americans.

The report claims that Trump thought the law and order message which proved so successful in 2016 had been diluted by Kushner’s push for “criminal justice reform,” which actually had the consequence of making Trump look weak when the riots began and didn’t earn him any goodwill amongst African-Americans voters.

“I’ve done all this stuff for the Blacks—it’s always Jared telling me to do this,” Trump said to one confidante. “And they all fucking hate me, and none of them are going to vote for me.”

“Trump privately told advisers that he wished he’d been quicker to support police and more aggressive in his pushback against protesters,” writes Bender.

According to the report, Trump told Kushner, “I’ve done all this stuff for the blacks – it’s always Jared telling me to do this. And they all fucking hate me, and none of them are going to vote for me.”

According to Bender, the weekend after Father’s Day, Trump began trying to distance himself from Kushner by scheduling political meetings at the White House without him.

Many America First nationalist warned Republicans for months and even years before the 2020 election that the campaign’s obsession with capturing more of the black vote was futile and that more effort should have been made on reaching swing voters.

Thanks to the likes of Jared Kushner seizing control of the campaign, that warning was never heeded.

Senator Rand Paul revealed Thursday that he never received any well wishes or sentiments from any Democrats after he was brutally assaulted in 2017, or after receiving death threats as he did this week when white powder was sent to his family home and discovered by his wife Kelley Paul.

Appearing on Fox Business along with his wife to talk about the incident, Paul said “We have people on the left who think it’s just hilarious,” adding that social media trolls “encourage crazy people across the country.”

Paul continued, “I was hit from behind by someone running full blast down a hill,” referring to the assault on him by his own neighbour four years ago, suspected to be motivated by the man’s political opposition to Paul’s Conservative-Libertarian leanings.

As we previously reported, leftists continue to mock Paul’s assault, expressing their wishes that he had been killed in the attack. It isn’t just unhinged basement dwellers posting their vile drivel either, it’s “celebrities” with significant followings.

This has led to even more horrid death threats against Paul and his family.

The Senator noted that “not one Democrat came up to me since I’ve been back and said, ‘I’m sorry that you’re having to deal with having white powder sent in an envelope to you.’”

“Not one of them I don’t think ever said they were sorry for me being assaulted by someone and having six ribs broken and nearly dying and having my lung removed,” Paul added. 

“This has got to stop, but the left thinks it’s hilarious what happened to me and they encourage other people to do it,” the Senator further asserted, adding “Something has to give and the left needs to quit fomenting this.”
